    if the ssd support powersaving then "why not"
    if not, it doesnt make a diffence

    you can check it with hdparm at commandline.

    inteks, your utility surely ranks near top of making our 1810t experience nearly flawless one! Thanks a bunch.

    In the latest rev. I notice you've included enabling/disabling an accelerometer... did you have some other model in mind, or does the 1810t actually has an accelerometer?

    Well it doesn't work for me anymore after updating bios and a few drivers updates as well. Asking is much easier than reinstalling everything :)

    It loads, but on left or right click it gives .net error so it is unusable too. Version 12 doesn't even load, windows report immediatly after clicking that app stopped working. yday, before updating v12 gave simillar .net error after it loaded, but it still worked afterwards.
    I am running w7 64bit, if you need any other info about my config let me know (or crash log if one can be made).

    Actually, I too suffered .net related crashes when I played with profiles. It seems to have created a profile by itself, but clicking on it splashes a .net crash error and quits the program (I can't even delete that errant profile). I have since left the profiles alone and it otherwise seems to work. I also couldn't get the different display resolutions to appear/switch in the right-click menu. None are big gripes, I am more than happy that it does its fundamental job well -- the "very high" corresponding to the "native" fan speeds is a welcome addition.

    i have UAC disabled myself thats why i dont add a autostart option.
    if i would add this option it would be the same shortcut into startupfolder solution that doesnt works for you because of UAC.
    if you have problems with uac ask microsoft for a solution. or simply disable it ;)

    To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
    application or computer (machine.config) must have the
    jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
    The application must also be compiled with debugging
    enabled.

    For example:

    <configuration>
    <system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
    </configuration>

    When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
    will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
    rather than be handled by this dialog box.

    The fan is still quiet afterwards and the temperature is displayed after clicking continue after getting the error. It occures on the right and left mouse button.

    inteks quick question

    I got a SSD installed, and even if i use Balanced/Power Saved/High Performance i can`t check HDD Fullspeed

    Could this be slowing down my HDD?

    Oupsie, didn`t see the updated 14 version

    Thanks!

    EDIT: Just started using the 14version but i still see the HDD Fullspeed option. I guess windows doesn`t recognize my SSD? That`s weird.

    that is not what i expected. 1810tray normally hide the HDD menuitem if hdparm result contains "AdvancedPM=no"

    i expected to see something diffent from your SSD.

    are you sure you start 1810tray as Administrator ??

    no. nothing is wrong with your ssd

    but 1810tray does a "hdparm -i hda" at progammstart and if the result contains "AdvancedPM=no" the "hdd fullspeed" menuitem is useless and so 1810tray hides it from menu.

    you said you see the "hdd fullspeed" menuitem so i expect something different like "AdvancedPM=yes" or something else.

    but if everthing else works you can ignore it

    is there someone else with SSD having the same problem ???

    Another question, I had 1810 tray loaded and after several hibernations (battery around 20%) after resuming from hibernation, I got the message that battery has had it and needs to be replaced. After I emptied the battery (normal use) and connected laptop to the charger it didn't charge to full even after a couple of hours. I turned on the laptop (battery stuck at ~90%) and display was corrupted as if graphic card would have been overclocked too much. Restarted and I didn't load 1810try, after that no problem, battery charged to the full and no errors. Can this be corelated or was probably just random issue?

    Seems pretty random to me. Nobody else has reported such a problem. Only thing was that some ppl had graphic distortion after hibernation/sleep mode due to the newest Intel Graphic Drivers.

    But the new 3303 bios is supposed to fix them

    What version are you currently running?

    Thanks Inteks for the 1810tray tool ! :)

    I bought the 1810T (su 7300) -- I do not find the fan anoying even at top speed... did I got lucky ?

    I have a few bugs...

    1- the only way I can get it to start is to lower the UAC.. setting it to run as admin at startup or run as scheduled task does not do it without being prompt to let it run

    2- what is the costum resolution trick ? only first resolution is available, i did try to change the list separator in "regional settings " from " ; " to " , " as set in your display option with no luck !

    3- profile will not stop or start WIFI, selecting device will not do anything

    Wishes : would be nice to have check box in front of selected profile.. and/or floating info like we can see for battery status and fan speed

    I bought the 1810T (su 7300) -- i do not find the fan anoying even at top speed... did i got lucky ?

    I use the gadget that looks like speedometer for cpu and memory usage, can someone recommand a tray tool for that ?
