Hibernation, of course, doesn't have any impact to system performance. Pagefile is sort-of unnecessary on machines with 4GB RAM; if you're pushing more than 4GB of RAM with your 1410/1810T/TZ... You might need a different notebook![]()
Doesn't hurt to try if you're trying to free up space. A lot of us using SSD's disable Hibernation (since cold-booting from SSD if almost as fast as shutdown/start-up from Hibernation) and the Pagefile (for reducing wear) when the system has plenty of RAM.

I'm sure some person or some group of persons decided there's a "business sense" in making variations per-market and I'm probably way in the minority when it comes to nitpicking these differences... I just find it annoying.
Lack of a "white" model comes to mind immediately along with the missing miniPCIe connector for the 2nd miniPCIe header... But ASUS started that with the Eee 701's a few years back...

Oh, don't even start! Over here we only have one model available (SU2300) and only one colour, black. That's it. No blue, no red, no white, just black.
Same for the Asus, only silver and only one processor (SU2300), the Core 2 Duo SU7300 is only available to the upper models (UL30A, etc). -
With the "free" market as it is these days, this type of disparity is confusing!

#1. Ignore all references to Bluetooth. The Acer AS1410 does not come with Bluetooth. I have a cirago BTA-3210 in one of the USB ports...

Hi,
probably you won't find "directly" the 1810TZ in any ComputerDiscount shop in Milan (just because they have it in stock in their warehouse), so you can ask them if they can order it . Guess they can have it in 2-3 days, delivered by their nearest warehouse.
I had it in an half day just because they have a warehouse in the same city!
You shouldn't have problems in Milan.

Does the Acer Aspire 1410-232G25N (SU2300) have
INTEL GMA 4500M or
INTEL GMA 4500MHD ?
I bought one, attached to the box from my local dealer is a sticker which says 4500M, his extra specifications in the internet say MHD.
The 1810tz with SU7300 has been already mentioned, does it really have
5600mAH battery? I dont trust notebooksbilliger.de for that price.
And i feel a little disappointed because of the small 4400mAh battery in my 1410... -

All "Dual Core" CULV Aspires we have been talking about in this thread (SU2300, SU4100 & SU7300) are based off the Intel GS45 chipset.
This makes all of them Intel GMA 4500MHD's.
My AS1810T-8638 and AS1410-2801 have the following *identical* GPU-z 0.36 results:

I'm curious if anyone has tried the SETFSB method to overclock the 1810tz with a su4100. if you have, can you plz report what the temps were like?
i read about the overclock here-

What p1sses me off is that at Notebookbilliger.de they say that they can send to other Countries, aside Germany and Austria but won`t let me put my real address (Greece)
I would call them myself since i speak German, but cant find a contact number. Would someone from Germany be kind enough to call them and let me know if it`s possible to send this item to Greece? For 550 all included (1810T) is an extreme offer, even for us in Europe! -
