I am not sure every GemStone Blue could use this FIX. In addition, even not all AS6920G can use this FIX. So, I do not dare to say it is "FIX for all Acer Aspire".
Even this FIX may not permanently fix all Acer Aspire Laptops, it brings benefits(slow down the time for the laptop to get in throttle state, lowered temperature and stabler system) to them as well.

Yes I understand not all 6920g's were fixed, but perhaps users who own a different aspire but also have the throttle would not give it a try if they think this only applies on the 6920g.

But for me you are my god! :D

Try disable PowerMizer? PowerMizer may downclock your Nvidia GF 9500M GS sometime. I had it disable and I could play any games without throttle of CPU and GPU.

Ok. Here i'am on the road again... like metallica said :)
Waiting for that pictures. Sry about this. Thx for all of our help.

"set RMclock to Maximal Performance(FID)" How i do this ?... Go to profiles and choose maximal performance ?

"with lowest voltage(VID)" How ? Choose maximal performance on profiles and then choose the minimal voltage that u gave in all 5 states ?

this part: "For T8100 users, FID = 11.0x(it is actually 10.5x but RMclock does not have "0.5x" word, I explain like this might be easy for newbie) and VID = 0.925V" don´t understand. How do i do this ?

Once again, thx for everything :)

Metalica did fix the problem. Now, he is out of Throttling problems already.
The last post he edited, "Edit: never mind i had normal throttling checked XD" which mean he click something wrong on the rmclock setting so it didn't work and then he change it back to normal and everything work again".

OK now I would start proceed to the 1st move.
Screenshot attachment I provided is how to do this. After you finish this step, only proceed to next steps.

Yea! It is much easier than before after you settle down the basic function of RMclock.
Know how to turn on regedit(registry editor)?
    Start>All Programs>Accessories>Run
Type in regedit and press enter or click OK.
Then, follow my instruction. I think you can do it! After you done this step I have more tweaks for you.

My fault LOL. My guide forgot to include 1 thing. Newbie always don't know this. Sorry.
Go to your RMclock folder, find RMClock_tweaks(registration entries).
Double click it and apply it.
Then you would have fully everything. I think I should add this steps in my guide too.

OK! I hope you can have a good AS 6920G after all.
Remember to test(play a resources hog game like Left 4 dead or TF2) for 1 or 2 hours. If your CPU doesn't throttle after the test, mean you're done and cheer~

    Hi Darksilver,
As i believe i have been following your guide through and through but still the throttling still there, sigh.... long live Acer

My spec will be as following :
    Acer Aspire 6935G
    500GB HDD
    Nvidia Geforce 9600m GT 512MB GDDR3
    4GB DDR3 Ram
    Intel Core 2 Duo Processor p8700 2.53Ghz
16" Full HD 1080p Acer CineCrstal LCD
    Blu-ray
Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium 32-bit Serive Pack 1

at the below here i'll attach all my RmClock setting please do correct me if there's anything wrong with it and for your information i already edit the registry as you suggested, all set to 1 and i already disabled the powermizer using powermizer switch.
Oh and i updated my BIOS from 1.10 to 1.13 yesterday, just in case this might have something to do with it

Why you disable the PowerMizer??? If you don't experienced downclock randomly, you don't need disabling it.
What Processor are you using. If you're using non-half multiplier processor, do not choose the highest index. But it seems your processor is half-multiplier.
You can attach all your stuffs here. I would check and see.

    EDIT:
Try selecting the FID 9.0x(just to check it is your processor is half-multiplier, remember to show me after you change it to 9.0x).
From you attachments, I see that your processor is throttling. I saw the Monitoring tab, the graph show that it is throttling.
VID 1.125V is the lowest you can go? If it is not, please go the lowest. Because P-series Processor should able to get very low VID.

Yep, Currently using FID 9.0x with 1.0875v and been playing prototype for 1 hours without any sign of thottling. i'll be going to try for lower volt by tomorrow, 3:25 AM here right now too sleepy. Well thank you for all your patience, response and knowledge DarkSilver. We are lucky to have you on this thread. i'll keep you updated~ have a good night.

You seems live in SEA(Asia). You have the same time as I do.
I guess you're either from Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia or Vietnam.
Go to the lowest as you can. P-series Processor can reach very low VID. I think can get 0.9XXV. T-series used much voltage than P-series, and I manage to get 0.925V. So, you can try much lower VID. Again. Lowest as you can.

I can predict your place is quite a cool area.
You can undervolt more 1.1V is too much. Try much lower.
Laptop on a bed is very dangerous. Bed is quite soft and made of cotton and fabrics, a laptop put on it can cause some thermal problem. This is due to the holes behind the laptop is sealed by your bed. LOL.
Well, you can follow my tweak of course. Don't follow the screenshoots and the T8100 guide(0.925V and 11x) only.

Have you used my regedit tweaks? Just follow all the tweak I have on the 1st post in this topic. Avoid T8100 tweaks and the screenshots.
In addition, clean up cpu. I mean it might be dusty. Vacuum or clean it up using the logic way, you may have lower temperature with it.

OOOOOO. The screenshoot you show me is a THROTTLING CPU.
A normal fully powered CPU should look like this(see below).
Both CPU core clock and Throttle(the 1st graph) must be equal. This is a fully powered CPU.

by the way i fix the problem with disable powermixer. it works. thank you very much. but i have to fix this throttle problem i did everything u said. i don understand where is the mistake.

Finally! I found your problems!! OMG! !!!!
    The last attachment left screenshoot.
That the force thermal throttling was set to 12.5% and the option is greyed out.

Before going to the solution here. I would like to ask. Have you editing the RMclock registry? If you did, the problem maybe "you haven't fully adjusted everything nicely in the RMclock utility and my RMclock registry tweak LOCKED all your setting because EIST is ordered to be disabled in the tweak".

    Solution:
    1. Turn on your registry editor(regedit).

    2. Go to [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\RightMark\RMClock].

    3. Find IntelCentrino.NormalThrottle and IntelCentrino.ThermalThrottle value to 0.

    4. Find IntelCentrino.ThrottleLock. Set it value to 1.

If this solution can't help you. Go to the RMclock folder, find RMClock_WipeOut and apply it.
Then delete your RMclock whole stuffs. Go to your registry editor(regedit) and delete the whole RMclock registry stuff. Restart your computer.
Extract new RMClock from the zip/rar file(rmclock_235_bin) again(if you deleted it then download it again).
Then follow my 1st post again BUT don't touch the RMCLOCK REGISTRY EDITING! You just adjust the VID and FID and those profiles. Enough and send me all the screenshoot again.

i deleted it like u said. then i didnt touch the regedit files. throttle and cpu look egual in orthos after 45 min.
i realize that with orthos no problem about throttle but when i tested with 3dmark06 than throttle is going down.

Why don't you tell the screenshoot you shown were all after orthos or 3dmark06 test. What a pain. I guess it is hard to explain to you how to do it. I plan for a whole new detail method you but not now, I am quite busy.

You can use the semi-fix(don't be upset). Now, you just need to set your Maximum FID and LOWEST VID(1.175v should not be your lowest) as you can.
Then, go to this thread and have a look, http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=374850
    It is called semi-fix.

Information updated on the 1st page. Bump!

As expected, because Left 4 Dead is damn CPU intensive and slightly GPU intensive too. So, both CPU and GPU heated up, the heatsink are not able to release heat in the speed of light. So, the CPU reached its TM 1(throttle temperature, acer set too low) very fast.

Set VID to lowest = prolong your CPU life.

When i set vid to lower, i am loosing performance. Cause t9600 cpu had 266x10.5.But it seems x10 for me in rmclock. 2800mhz my original performans but when i Use P-State Transitions it became 2600 266x10.
Is there any way for fix it?

This is due to the RMclock you download have some problems I guess.
It locks IDA mode(which is 11x). I have it. The 11x will give you 10.5x since the T-series doesn't support IDA mode fully. With 10.5x you can have fully 2.8Ghz.
It sucks to have lower performance than usual. I suggest you just put no management. Use this trick(semi-fix), http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=374850
The guide over there said about unlock and lock kind of stuffs, just ignore it, you just need to press refresh in the advance tab(it doesn't matter Processor, Throttling or Chipset) of RMclock and apply.

    hay guys
so im undervolting my cpu right at the moment
as i read is the IDA type used when only one core is used and the
other core not so its good to disable it.
since i have the exactly same laptop as u DarkSilver i have a question
the highest normal mode under IDA can only use a multyplier od x10.0
even thoug u talked about x11.0
am im just stupid or is it really diffrent?

Yep! Your Advance tab Throttling is grey out. But the Advance tab PROCESSOR is not grey out right? Just go there(Advance tab PROCESSOR), use the "enable extended throttling" instead. Actually the whole Advance tab PROCESSOR , CHIPSET or THROTTLING can use the SEMI-FIX. Just change some setting and then apply, after that, revert the setting and apply again.

I guess something wrong with RMclock and HWmonitor readings on temperature. LOL.
It is common for them to read wrongly. Because HWmonitor and RMclock temperature sensor on new processors did not update.
Download Real Temp 3.0 , it is good enough to check your temperature on GPU and CPU. And it shows TRUE temperature.

It seems you have 10% of CPU core speed vanished. Semi-fix seems fixed your problems at the cost of 10% of CPU speed.

ok i will try the real temp 3.0, yes u right i have %10 cpu core speed vanished. But i could not do semi-fix. It does not work with my notebook or i could not do it. i opened a game when its throttle i have done what u said but it did not work. By the way i tired to fix this %10 core speed vanished with crystal cpuid unility someone told me that u can use the x11 multiplier but it did not work too.

Now, I was like out of clues. I don't know what you did and maybe you do something wrong in the middle of each method or don't really understand what is the tweaks/tricks(honestly, I saw it many times but I am not too sure about it maybe you're too excited or haste on doing it? don't know). It doesn't matter. Maybe you should find a PRO to help you. Sorry. I am useless already.
