    RW - Read & Write 1.5.2 Download - Access PCI, Memory, I/O, Super I/O, Clock, SPD, SMBus, MSR, ATA, ACPI, EC, USB..

    That's the program they're using. I guess you could just duplicate whatever they did-- although your lack of Google skills raises some doubts. :p I've never downloaded from that particular site, though, so I can't vouch.

    Personally I like to know what I'm doing when I do things and that sort of tinkering seems to be a bit beyond my tech level at present. I can do me some command prompt, though. :)

    Anyway, you can run custom fan settings with Sapphire Trixx and MSi Afterburner anyway, and at graduated levels according to temperature, so I don't see why you'd even try that.

    Have fun!

    Yes you can install a SSD, but if you want to keep your extra drive and move it to the secondary HDD slot (which is possible), then you'll need a new case bottom. It's linked to somewhere in the first 10 pages of the thread, I think. I personally just went with a 256 gb ssd. If I need more, I may get the expansion case. Just be sure to enable AHCI in the Bios, or the machine won't make use of the SSD's full capabilities. I'd personally just reinstall everything from restore discs. And yes, you can also install Windows 8 as well. (although I would look into a touch-screen add-on for your laptop... I've heard Win8 is more of a touch-friendly OS than anything else)

    Yes, the i7-2670QM is compatible with the Aspire 7750g, but it's not at all required for the SSD upgrade. I upgraded my mom's netbook to SSD. You probably wouldn't see much of a performance boost with the i7 upgrade unless you do a lot of video editing, etc. It may also future-proof the machine a bit against games that are optimized to utilize quad cores. (Which are pretty rare at the moment) It's up to you to determine whether it's worth it. EDIT: A person who did this upgrade also stated that you needed a 130v power supply to avoid throttling with the i7, though, as opposed to the 90w power supplies that come with the i5.

    However, if you're looking to spend an extra few hundred bucks on upgrades, I'd definitely suggest the HannStar HSD173PUW1 along with the SSD. It's 1920x1080 resulting in about 20% greater pixel density than the 1600x900. Installation was fairly easy with the proper tools. (although I did mess it up the first time by putting the screen in upside-down, haha) I'm definitely impressed by how much sharper and nicer everything looks. Now I should also be able to run things on my TV at native 1080p. (before it used to upscale from 1600x900 and when I tried to use just the TV at 1080p it wouldn't show me the entire screen... i suspect running the screen at 1080p should work)

    Good luck!

    EDIT2:Also forgot to mention that the new screen was a little over $100 on ebay-- and after spending a few more hours with it I can say that dollar for dollar probably the best thing you can do to improve your experience with the machine. I honestly didn't think that the extra resolution would matter on a 17" laptop, but boy was I wrong about that. Text is a lot cleaner and nicer to read and colors are much nicer and more vivid for some reason. StarCraft II looks awesome at High to Ultra at 1920x1080 and plays great and Diablo III looks beautiful and plays very well at just a hair under the highest settings at 1920x1080 with the 6850m video card. (Shadow antialiasing at Medium) The screen is a must-have upgrade in my view and I'm shocked Acer didn't include it in the first place.

    EDIT: I really want to ask you if i can put the i7-2670qm on my acer 7750G because i need graphics performance!!!!!
    i really use photoshop and video editing software that sometimes need a 4 cores. i saw on the net that the 2 cpus have the same socket, but will the bios be able to run. Another thing i already have a 130w power supply so i can buy the cpu only and the ssd. vertex4 is good enough? is't a sata 3 ssd but i have a sata 2 motherboard.

    EDIT2: i already have 2 hds in my cpu. 2x750G 5400rpm wd hard drives. i want to keep my system (windows 7) to have my pc always good for selling... THANKS AGAIN HOpE YOU WILL ANSWER

    Hello all, I have an acer Aspire 7750g with an i7 2670qm processor, hm65 chipset and amd 6650m card running windows 7 64 bit. According to the service manual i should have the intell 3000 graphics card but...
    I do not see the intel hd 3000 in device manager and when i try the drivers from either acer or intel's site i get a message saying i do not meet the system requirements... any insight into this problem would be greatly appreciated

    One other problem, I installed the modded bios and now cannot launch catalyst control center, tried installing leshcats and was left with black horizontal lines flickering whenever i tried to use a program.

    In that case, definitely go for the i7-2670qm. I'm 95% certain it's compatible. I'd check the earlier parts of the topic, as someone actually went and did it. Just make sure that the sockets line up and everything. It'll be a 2xxx series i7 quad-core in any event. I think it's socket2 or somesuch thing, but definitely double-check before dropping the money. If I'm not mistaken only one is available that's compatible with the particular socket that the 7750G uses. [EDIT1:] The guy below mentions he uses an i7-2670qm-- that's the ticket! Just search through the first 10-15 pages for "i7" and you'll find the guy who upgraded. I'm too tired and lazy to do it right now, haha. Or an easier way is to just look up the specs for the quad-core 7750Gs... whichever one they use will be the one you should buy, the motherboards on all the 7750gs are identical. Also good that you already have the 130v cord.

    I'd also buy some good thermal paste like Tuniq TX-2 or TX-4 or anything in the $10-$20 a tube range. The i7 will run hotter and you can also OC your GPU without worrying too much about frying it with the better paste. Just remove the old paste and put the new stuff on the GPU and CPU. (if you're buying used parts) It'll easily run 5-10C cooler, which is nice.

    As for the performance boost... I don't know... I don't video edit or use photoshop much, but I would imagine that the performance increase for those tasks would certainly be enhanced as they're quite cpu-heavy. People who use apps like that attest to the better CPU, so I'd say you'll probably see a significant improvement, especially on the video editing end.

    And the Vertex4 should be great. If I'm not mistaken that's even higher-end than the SSD that I bought and I saw a pretty good performance increase. You can check the benchmarks for SSD drives on Google, but if you're talking about the OCZ Vertex or somesuch thing, then yeah... it should be great. It may even be overkill.

    I can't stress the screen enough, though. With the SSD you see improvements in fluidity, boot times and load times. But with the screen the difference is apparent 100% of the time you're using the system. It's the first thing I should've done.

    EDIT2b: Oh, and you mentioned earlier that you needed better graphics performance. Again, I don't think that the i7 will really improve your gaming performance much. It definitely couldn't hurt, but only for the newest and most graphically demanding games and even then probably not that much as your 6650m GPU which was average circa 2011 will probably be your main bottleneck. You'll probably be constricted to Medium or Medium-to-High settings with Blizzard games, Skyrim, etc and Low-to-Medium settings for the most demanding games. From what people were saying in earlier threads Battlefield 3 at 1080p or even 900p ain't happening regardless of what upgrades you make, haha. But Arkham City should be run on Medium or so at 1080p, unless I'm radically underestimating generational differences between a 6850m and a 6650m.

    I'm not really sure what the problem is what the hd3000, but, not to sound rude or anything, why on earth would you want to run that instead of the much more powerful 6600m?

    I also remember having problems with catalyst with the leshcat drivers, I think it substitutes TRIXX for it or something... sorry I can't be more helpful than that.

    EDIT2: I also don't see my integrated GPU in device manager and I'm not running Leshcat drivers... I think that may be normal?

    I joined this site just so i could share my experience,

    I have a 7750g and for the last year have been struggling with it overheating, stop charging and shutting down (its now almost 2 years old).

    After reading advice on this site, I pulled it apart and replaced the heat sink paste, it was very easy to do even though I have never pulled a laptop apart before.

    Instantly the temps dropped and its like brand new, has fixed all issues and so far a week later is running fine.

    I'm a bit annoyed I had to fix it, as I'm guessing Acer used a crappy paste in the first place. but at least it's fixed now.

    So if you are having issues, or yours is 12 months old, I would recommend this step,

    Cheers!

    I was thinking the reason leshcat wasn't working for me was it installs the intel drivers as well as the amd. Are there leshcat drivers without the intel hd install?

    In Europe Acer 7750G don't have integrated gpu enabled. I had Travelmate 7750G with AMD 6650m without options switch to IGP.

    7750g-6645 owner here.

    Does anybody know if a 7mm drive will fit into the 2nd hard-drive bay? I did shave off the fins on the inside cover but my 9mm ssd still won't fit. If a 7mm would fit, the 240gb samsung 840 is going for around $150-160 and is 7mm.

    Also, regarding modded BIOS, is there somewhere with compiled info? I always saw bits and piece but i was always uncertain which bios version i should be on before flashing which modded bios. oh well.
    I've been using leschat drivers exactly 1 yr now, and I get less hangups with each update, but i still get an occasional amd display driver error + hang-up.

    Hi,
    I have an Acer Aspire 7750G-6645. I recently purchased a SSD and removed the cover to install it. I was surprised to find it would not fit because Acer seems to have purposely designed the cover will some plastic webbing that reduces the available height. In reading this forum I found that I can purchase an Acer Accessory cover 60.RB002.007 that would fit. However with postage its about $50. (For a piece of plastic!) What is most disappointing is that Acer could have just designed one cover that would accomodate the second drive if and when a user wanted to install it. Instead they chose to design two so they could gouge the user with an overpriced piece of plastic.
    I read here on the forum that some users just used a dremel tool to grind away the plastic webbing on the original cover so that you can fit the second drive. Can users who have done that please share there experiences. It certainly seems like something that is really easily do able but I don't know if that webbing on the original cover served a purpose. When I looked on one of the sites that is selling the 60.RB002.007 it just seemed like an original cover without the webbing on that side. Thanks in advance for your help.

    All the best,
    Ted Sudol

    It has been done. The other cover has spare room for another drive. The stock cover should allow an SSD with some modification.

    As of today I can confirm the 1920x1080 screen replacement works. It was a real bargain at €80 (incl shipping).
    It said on ebay HSD173PUW1 or similar. I got an N173HGE - L21 which works like a charm, no dead pixels. The difference of 44% higher pixel density is really stunning.

    The specs for this motherboard show to get the PC3 10600 RAM (1333), which I have. Is there any point in upgrading the RAM to PC3 10660 or 10666?. Also, is it even possible to upgrade to a PC3 15000 (1866 or 2133)? I want to increase the speed of the RAM if possible, but if it's just going to drop the clock on the ram to the max supported speed of the motherboard (Which I probably already have), then I guess there's no point.

    Thanks,

    Craig

    Hey guys, I just inherited my brother's 7750G-6662. It's the i5 and I put 8GB of 1333mhz RAM and Speccy shows that it's only running at 670mhz

    Would a modded BIOS give RAM frequency upgrades, or what program would work, MSI Afterburner??

    It's DDR memory so you multiplication the frequency by two (dual data rate) and you end up with what you should have.
    No need to mod anything - it's working as it's supposed to.

    Hi and hallo everyone I am new here and this is my first post, I have an Acer Aspire 7750G-6662 i5, 17.3 screen (7 months old by now) and this one came with Win7 Ultima 64bit.

    There is a Russian torrent link in this forum somewhere around page 10 or so about the proper workshop manual but as I am the only one there trying d/loading this is not downloading (after registering I got access to the d/load link of 1.28GB of a pdf file). My plea is, does anyone else know of a reliable d/load link of this manual? I already had such d/loaded some months ago from another link provided here in this forum when lurching this forum, but alas, that link has disappeared. Since then the h/drive it was on my PC got cooked/corrupted.

    That'll teach me NOT to back it up onto my other PC.as well but as it is too late now, unfortunately.

    I also wanted to get WinXP SP3 on my Acer 7750G and was told when phoning Acer Support here in Australia, I can not do that. When I still had access to my by now lost Acer workshop manual, I d/loaded all XP drivers I could find by the chips on board (Intel video, sound, touch pad, LAN, modem etc. and other then the video driver for the AMD Radeon Mobile 5xxx video chip, all is working in WinXP. I wanted XP on it to play some of the older games (up to 5 years back) and am happy to report, all is OK on the WinXP front.

    My plan for the immediate future is to replace the 650MB h/drive with a 2 TB internal one, partition that in 2x1 TB partitions and reinstall WinXP first and Win7 Ultimate last to make it a dual Windows boot up. Or use an external 2 TB USB3 hard disk as the second partition for Win7.

    But as said above, if anyone can point me to a reliable d/load link for the Acer 7750G workshop manual I would be eternally grateful and thank you in advance for such provided (hopefully)

    Edit: I found a copy of my original d/loaded manual on my brother's Aspire. He must have copied it across when he was here at my place. It is, as said for the Acer Aspire 7750G and is a PDF file some 12 MBs in size. If someone would like a copy (I do not know if it is legal to pass this on but why wouldn't it?) I could upload it onto my web site and leave it there, say for 2 weeks if required. Good idea and should I?

    Cheers

    VinnyBarb (as in Vinny Barbarino)

    First of all there are no "i5 quads" - all Core i5s are two core CPUs with Hyper-threading (which is why 4 logical cores are visible).

    Secondly- you can only use Sandy Bridge CPUs meaning those that start with 2 i.e. Core i7 2630QM will work fine. Core i7-3840QM is an Ivy Bridge CPU and it won't work.

    Hello Brownsfab70,

    Yes you can, I think you have a Intel and AMD, right?

    Then I advise you to visit GURU3D to this link:

    HELP!

    Acer Aspire 7750zg no display on internal monitor.

    Ok, so this is what i did. I went to do an upgrade from b940 to core i5 2430m... should work... i will try it again tonight.

    I dissasembled the laptop, replaced the processor. Powered on and a blank screen. Hmmm that is not good. I checked the connectors again, did not worked. So I went and put the old processor back, still not working. I did a BIOS reflash (fn+esc) with an usb stick, and finally the windows sound. So I plugged in an external monitor with HDMI and the picture was there.

    Why my LED display is not working?

    I will try to check if the backlight is dead, i will try tonight to lighten the screen with a flash light.
    I will also check the connecting cable, but i do not think this is the issue.

    Does anyone experienced this?
    I need to fix my display first.

    Any help is appreciated.
    Thank you!

    Also could the LCD lid close switch be in a weird position?

    SOLVED :) forgot to plugin the video cable.

    Also tested i5 2430m... this is not working.

    Anybody has an 7750zg with i5 2430m?

    I put a hdd caddy in mine which works flawlessly. To bad it's limited to 1.5Gb/s. I'll move my second hdd there since that won't make a difference and put an ssd in the second 3GB/s bay.

    Also found 1.21 modded bios for 5755g which works just fine on this one. No advances in fan control though.
    Find them here: click

    I'm looking to solder some stuff so the fan is 100% when I want it. It goes to 100% for a short while on startup but I haven't found a single piece of software capable of reading or changing the fan speed.

    Edit: I found that the fan has 3 wires: black brown and grey. How could I solder these so my fan is working 100% ?
    I think brown might be 0 to +5V and black is ground, with grey for measuring? I'm totally not sure and I would like to know before cutting cables... I would connect the fan with a switch to an external 5V power supply.

    Hello

    I am new to this forum, and need some help/advice. I have not been able to get any information from Acer.

    I have an Acer Aspire 7750G-9411. It came installed with 6 gig of RAM DDR3 PC8500. when I bought the laptop, I thought the memory could be expanded to 16 gig in 4 slots. However, I just looked at increasing the memory and was told that it actually only has 2 slots for a max of 8 gig. Before I buy new memory, can enyone tell me whether or not this model has the two extra slots? Also, I am told that DDR3 PC8500 is no longer readily available, what memory can I put into this laptop?

    Thank you for any help you can give me.

    Thanks for any help

    Just to inform you:

    Yesterday I bought an used i3 2330m, replaced the B940 and restarted... again not booting up. So I went and did a bios reset (removed battery, dc cable, and kept the power button pressed for like 30 seconds) - Surprize, now is working, and now I have an Acer Aspire 7750zg with i3 2330m, or should I say now I have Acer Aspire 7750g ?

    Anyway really happy about my upgrade - and no problems with heating ;)

    I have an Acer Aspire 7750G-9411. I want to upgrade to a SSD . I know it has a second Hard Drive slot, I bought the new bottom cover so that it not a problem to install in the second drive bay but want to keep the present hard drive for file storage, I am planning on installing the Samsung EVO 500gb SSD, Is this possible or not?

    Thanks for any information you can give me

    @cyclops: open up the lid on the bottom, you should immediately see the ram, and available slots
    Installing an extra hdd should be no problem, i have 3 now in my 7750g

    Thanks for the info, I installed the 500gb SSD drive and it really rocks now, I have two other upgrades in mind, I have already ordered a high definition screen and will be installing it later this weekend. but what are my options on a new graphics card? I presently have the AMD Radeon HD 6650M with 2gb of dedicated memory, I would like to upgrade this to a better graphics card with either 4 or 8 gig of memory. Do you have any suggestions?

    Correct me if I'm wrong guys, but as far as I know this notebook doesn't use MXM module so the graphics card can't be upgraded.

    No, it does't use MXM cards for the graphics. It's a chip integrated into the mainboard itself. If you want to upgrade, you can switch the whole mainboard for a similar model. I believe the most powerful graphics card available for the 7750G is the AMD 6850M.

    Yes, the screen upgrade is possible on either models. Keep in mind that you have to find a screen pin-compatible and beware of the pin location also. Other than that, go on.
    I know that this particular one is compatible:
    LP173WF1 B173HW01 N173HGE HSD173PUW1 Full HD LED Display 17,3" glossy

    But neither of these are the reason I'm posting here. I'm replying to this thread because I made a fix for the 7750 and 7750G brightness under Windows 8 & 8.1.

    The problem is that the screen brightness could not be ajusted by the Windows itself, by the power plans and by the Mobility center. Only by using the Fn + left and right. Well, it was a software fault, and the fix is simple.

    Since I cannot upload a registry file here, I'll provide the registry that need to be changed:

    Code:
    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Control\Class\{4d36e968-e325-11ce-bfc1-08002be10318}\0001]
    "FeatureTestControl"=dword:0000f800
    - Value must be f800 -

    Code:
    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Control\Class\{4d36e968-e325-11ce-bfc1-08002be10318}\0000]
    "KMD_EnableBrightnessInterface2"=dword:00000000
    - Value must be 0 -

    Once those are set to these values, all it's necessary is a reboot and your computer can now again control brightness via the Windows management.

    Hi all,

    I am at my wits' end with my laptop.

    It is by no means an amazing machine, and I have not deluded myself into thinking it should play every game to perfection, but I know from experience it used to run games better than this.

    Previously I could play most games at a decent setting with a very decent frame rate. The last games I played were Spec-Ops: The Line, Fallout 3 and Borderlands. I thought I'd treat myself to some games off the Steam sale.

    State of Decay - Completely unplayable - sub 10fps. I thought ok, this game is notorious for not performing well, I'll leave it for now, but

    Gone Home - 15ps max on the lowest settings - when I press detect (I assume this isn't completely accurate, but still) it sets it to high all round.

    Other games don't fare any better, even old ones that most definitely used to be fine.

    I am not really that tech-savvy but I'll list the specs and try explain to the best of my ability what I have tried so far.

    Specs: ACER 7750G

    Intel core i5-2430m

    2.4ghz turboboost to 3.0ghz

    5gb DDR3 RAM

    AMD RADEON HD6650M ,2GB VRAM graphics (switchable graphics - on-board Itel HD 3000 or something)

    (copied and pasted. Please say if anything is missing)

    Disclaimer: To the best of my knowledge nothing major has been changed on the system to have caused this. I regularly use CCleaner but that's the only maintenance I perform as it's usually just used for Photoshop and Illustrator (which both work just fine).

    So far I have tried the following with no success:

    1) Changed the BIOS to force the PC to only use the Radeon GPU even though it was doing so, I wanted to be sure. This has been my focus and I'm 100% sure it is working as I spent a lot of time making sure.

    2) Overclocked the GPU even though I had no reason to do so before. No real noticeable difference.

    3) Scoured the internet for suggestions and the only one worth trying, which I did - disable C-STATE. No change.

    4) Downloaded various drivers. Tried sets from AMD, Intel and custom ones (currently installed and recommended). I have updated drivers on all other important components.

    5) I tried ThrottleStop but either I'm not using it properly or it wasn't necessary.

    So... the only thing I can think of is that the CPU is not performing, but when I monitor them (just through Ctrl, Alt, Delete) it seems "fine". Maybe I need monitoring software, although I'm not sure what to look for. My knowledge on the subject is already stretched and I'm likely to brick the thing if I keep fiddling.

    Any suggestions/help would be much appreciated.

    Thanks in advance.

    Good morning, Zizou1987.

    Your machine should be able to play all those games relatively well, so let's find out what's wrong with it. From what I gathered, you've thinkered a lot with your Windows installation regarding drivers and registers (CCleaner).

    And in my experience, your CPU is doing just fine. Since neither Windows nor BIOS can change enough settings to wreck your performance, I think it's your GPU. By the way, reenable the C-States on your BIOS, that does not affect performance.

    My suggestion is, follow these steps in order:

    1) Uninstall CCleaner (That's a program that can potentially damage your Windows installation if you don't know what you're doing. Its advantages are not toppled by its disadvantages and it's dangerous in my humble opinion);

    2) Uninstall your AMD Radeon Graphics Driver through the AMD Catalyst Install Manager found in "Programs and Features" inside your Control Panel folder;

    3) Uninstall any left overs of your AMD Graphics Driver you may find inside the Display Adapter in the Device Manager found in your Control Panel folder;
    (Right-click -> Uninstall -> Check the "Delete driver software for this device" -> OK)

    4) Uninstall your Intel Graphics Driver found inside the Display Adapter in the Device Manager found in your Control Panel folder;
    (Right-click -> Uninstall -> Check the "Delete driver software for this device" -> OK)

    5) Reboot your notebook;

    6) Make sure you have JAVA installed ( java.com);

    7) Open the Intel Download Center, check, download and install the latest drivers for your IGP;

    8) Reboot your notebook;

    9) Open the AMD Driver Autodetect and run it. It will download the latest driver for your graphics card. Install;

    10) Reboot and you are good to go.

    Hey,

    My main drive on my 7750g kicked it this week. Was wondering if anyone knew of a way to get the restore cd from any other source than Acer? Don't mind paying, just don't want to wait for it to be shipped :(

    Sorry mate, but unless you are willing to install yourself a fresh new OS, you are out of luck. I suggest doing so, it's easy and Acer has all the necessary drivers for it on the support page. You could even upgrade to Windows 8.1.

    Hi All!

    I'm thinking about upgrading my 7750 with new cpu.

    My factory specs are Intel Core i5 2430M with Radeon HD 6650M and 8Gb RAM.

    what is the best possible CPU i can switch with, and also does it required bios update.

    Some time ago i upgrade my other HP laptop from P6100 to i3 370M, without any problems, basicly plug&play.

    Thanks

    That would be Intel Core i5-2540M (which is not a worthy upgrade) or Intel Core i7-2860QM (that may or may not work though - it should in theory).

    I can't answer the second question though - if the most recent BIOS had been released prior to the CPU you want to update to, than it won't work without its microcode being added to BIOS but that's it from me. I'm not a BIOS modder myself and I'm not going to pretend that I can be helpful here.

    That said - even without the microcode update CPU should work fine - it would just require you to press F1 every time the computer boots.

    For full fan speed controller from windows, here is the modded version of the application released by acer: FanController.

    Install first Common.exe, then copy FanController anywhere and use it.

    Working on my Acer 7750zg. Should work on any who uses the P5WE0.. BIOS.

    Hurray! ;)

    Hello.

    I just had to reload/install a new operating system. I was able to find all of the drivers for my Acer laptop 7750G except the one that controls the on screen icon when the "cap locks" or "nunbers locks" is pressed. does anyone know where I can find it? Thanks for any help you can give me.

    Rejoice!
    I never thought I'd be seeing that happen :D
    I was just looking do some serious modding and put a desktop cpu cooler on the cpu for small overclock, too bad it won't go beyond 2.8GHz.
    Is this the maximum the i7-2670qm will do?

    You have to be very careful when upgrading a CPU in laptops since your laptop may or may not have the supplied power requirements (mainly the AC adapter wattage) and cooling capacity (some laptops supply different heatsinks for dual and quad core configuration from factory) for a faster CPU upgrade.

    My nephews owns a Acer 7750G which I originally bought brand new and could not return after keeping it for too long, the configuration is very similar to yours in regards to a i5-2430M and 6850M; with Shin Etsu thermal paste and a Slim-X cooler I find the laptop runs very cool but the cooling is still not sufficient enough for a i7 quad core upgrade.

    Had this machine for a while now. Love it.

    Couple of questions.

    1. The beep when plugging and unplugging the power in has gone, how do I get it back?

    2. There are certain times when I can't click on something while online, regardless of browser.
    Most recently, trying to click the "X" on a suggested page on Youtube and when trying to select a shoe size on the Nike website.

    3. Anyone have any anecdotal experience replacing the keyboard/have a list of compatible keyboard replacements?

    Thanks in advance, D

    Hi, I need some help with my 7750G, specifically battery help.
    For a while I was receiving a "battery needs replacing" msg from win7, I turned off the battery warning and never thought about it for a year or two, when unplugged I never noticed an issue but never really used it long enough to experience any issues.
    A month ago my power adapter got really hot then died, I had an equal backup so still no issues. Then I upgraded to free winX, as soon as I ran one game {Black Ops, or Ghosts) all the LEDs (power and 4 front) started flashing and after a few minutes shut down. Research showed this was a power issue but only found out after I downgraded to win7 because I thought winX didn't like my games.
    Win7 displayed the same problem even though I was playing games a week earlier on win7.

    What I have done:
    Ran a couple of battery test programs, battery failed.
    Tested cable from adapter port to motherboard, no burnt or failed solder joints.
    Opened battery case and tested all 18650 cells individually while still connected together (all cells 4 volts)
    then separated each (6) cell, all tested 4 volts.
    Anyone with similar/same issues? anyone have any ideas?
    Thank you.

    Hey. I've been having a problem. My Acer 7750G fan isn't turning. Some temporary solution of the internet suggest I should flash my BIOS. There's nothing wrong with the fan, it's been tested on other power sources.

    Do you know any other solution. If not, can you help with with flashing my BIOS?
