Website says the EDD has been delayed until 4/27.
On the phone I'm getting that it's in the Boxing Stage.
I'm gonna call tomorrow to talk to a rep and see what's up. If I can't get the thing before the 23rd I may just cancel and wait a bit longer.

At the rate this is going I think my EDD of the 7th might actually be accurate.

After using S-PVA and H-IPS monitors as of late I don't think I can go back to a TN panel, extra dimensions or notlol

you probably all know that but do not trust the email system when approving the delay emails, there were people that approved by email and their order got cancelled.. use the phone instead (the number is in the email)

My the volcano of Iceland me my order has been delayed
Pending first 20 days after cancellation because of dell, back ordering wait 15 days, and now the volcano fumes
over the 3 months i was fighting for my change of r1 to r2

Very Nice!! I have done similar things to return items to Best buy.. Its funny watching those geek squad ppl.. Most of them do not have a clue on how to troubleshoot a computer.. Did you format and reinstall/reimage??? Yes I did.. mhmm ok..
Oh my that would be nice.. I would love the 120hz monitor.. My xl2370 rgbled is really good. I have really enjoyed it.. I am looking forward to your review on the monitor and you know it.. .pictures lol...

Its not that easy.. If you are within your 21 day return period.. Easy just return get refund and then reorder
If you are outside that.. you have to go through tech support and many many many hours on the phone.. Once all troubleshooting is done and you still have issues.. you have to press really hard to get r2 replacement.. Most of them will just send r1 to replace it.. It all depends on who you get and what your issues are.. -

Wow!! Mine finally go to boxing stage after I called Dell's notify team. I almost gonna cry when I hear " your order is in boxing stage". Hahahaha.

Just spoke with my CS rep and was told the processor is still on back order and is causing the delay. I guess the story matches with his supervisor who called me on Friday. I'm not too unhappy about it as I was able to get a free mouse as a compensation. I didn't tell him which mouse yet (I didn't want to scare him off by asking for Razer Mamba
) He told me he'll process the mouse order once he calls me when my computer ships. At least I'll get my Mamba to match my Megalodon!

You should have it sometime this week if you have NBD shipping. Most of the people that are getting it this week seem to have 820QM. Well have fun with your beasts!

ordered April 7th, still in "production" so looks like I'll be waiting a while. -
quick question:
how do you think dell categorizes these orders. Replacement systems generally mean that you have a problem with your current machine/its not functioning. This is just a continuance of your contract(warranty). New systems mean that customers are starting a new contract with them. Which do you think gets prioritized. Based on what I've seen.... replacement systems seem to ship faster.

All replacements are expedited.
Whether or not the system can actually be expedited due to part shortages or availability is another matter all together. -

So what the heck? The online order status page is not working, stuck in loading. Then I call and the order status system over the phone says "one moment please" after entering my order number and never gets back to me.

When i ordered from Dell 4 years ago, there was a detailed icon based order status screen. I can only find a brief order status page showing that I am in production. Is there another place that I need to look?
