Gotta love Dell when it comes to making deals and keeping customers happy.
I'm astonished by the good feedback people have been giving about their product and support (sure experience vary, but overall they seem to do a great job).

Grats on your system, and join the waiting list =)

Ordered mine 5/19 with standard processor, 7970, 12 GB of RAM, and the 750GB + SSD option. The date I've gotten is 6/5, but based on what you guys are saying, I'm hoping for mid next week on delivery! Too excited right now.

On a side note, I've ordered online from Dell 4 times before for computers and every single time they've come before the expected date!

Yours may be waiting for a part because on Friday the 25th the estimated ship date was 6/8 and that date should of been 6/5 when you ordered instead of 6/7.

I ordered mine on 5/16. Estimated delivery is 5/30. I still haven't received shipping info. Hopefully tomorrow I will since I have "next day shipping"

Today (5/28) is a Monday so shipping/postal related things wont happen.

I hope they ship tomorrow and I receive my R4 on the 30th.

    Shanghai > Korea > Kazakhstan > Poland > Germany > Netherlands

*Assuming it takes the same route as Xennox's (which so far indicate just that).

I wonder since they're built in Shanghai what chances I have of seeing fast production time like yours... multiple people have commented theirs are taking the full two weeks where others are taking just several days.

I ordered to the US but again, since it's coming from Shanghai I don't know if that really matters...

I swear reading these posts are the only things keeping me sane as I sit here in anxious anticipation of my system arriving!

1 week is indeed incredibly fast. I'm in the US and ordered on 5/19. I was quoted 6/5, but really hoping it comes in this week. Anybody in the US order on or around that date and already receive theirs or are supposed to soon?

Production takes 2 days approx apparently.
So it actually might be shipped this week.

Hard to say, though for me and Xennox (both Dutch / NL) the process has been similar.
Mine is being shipped by UPS, not sure how they ship it to the US.

The North American. ones seem to be shipping out of Texas which is much slower than those shipped out of Shanghai, from what I can tell.

This makes me sad. I'm fairly certain they use UPS in the US as well though. Darn you people in other countries getting things faster! Now if only we could upgrade the transportation here in the states as easily as changing out a DVD drive for a Blu-ray...

Ordered mine on the 16th. Estimated delivery date of 3/31.

The tracking info on FedEx shows that it has been "initiated" but not delivered to FedEx yet. It has been on this status since the 24th. I also have over-night shipping.

My dell order status still says "In production".

They are running out of time to meet that date. lol

Sometimes Dell doesn't update the status as frequently as most would want. Some have seen their systems delivered, but the status on Dell still says "In Production". If you have a FedEx tracking number, then that is your best bet to see if it's shipped or not.

If you go to FedEx's website. Go to "Track by Reference".

You can then use your Dell Order #, destination country, and zip code to track shipments.

You will get info there as soon as dell prints a shipping label for it. Even if you dont have a specific tracking number.

Don't enter anything in the "Account no." box. Enter the order number in the reference box. (the biggest box)

Well.. my status just changed to "Shipped" on the Order details page. I'm not sure if its cause I tried tracking it by the FedEx reference thing. I'll wait a couple hours to see if I get an email with a tracking # :)

Your tracking number should be on the dell page when you check your order status. Refer to the picture.
As you can see the page gives you the tracking number :)
