I ordered on the second and my EDD was the 19th. 5 days sooner than expected

It departed Cologne, Germany at 4am and been off the radar since. Surely the UK isn't 8 hours flight away.

 

We have the same EDD

Hopefully mine will come pretty soon, it's not normal to wish your weekends away.

 

Still waiting for mine. EDD is up in 4 days. Ordered on the 25th. I have a feeling since I called so many time that they are delaying my order on purpose.

 

Did it show as already assembled on their website?

Or is Nvidia just failing to deliver those lower-bin 670 chips?


With Nvidia's architecture screw-up in early 2012 and subsequent low yield coming out of TSMC, they should have loads of 670 chips that failed at the desired clock speed - now to be repurposed at lower clock speeds for mobile computers and proudly renamed to "GTX 680M"


My EDD is the 23rd, so I guess I'll hang out in this thread ^^

 

So today i talk to a rep and ask if he has any idea as to when my laptop will be shipped, so he takes my order number, and says i can see your revised EDD is th 27/7 but just last night it was the 18/7 ! Its not changed on my order status either so im not sure but cant be doing with waiting till the 27th

 

When I spoke to a rep, he told me that my revised date was the 24th. Like you, my Order Status page never updated from my original EDD. .

Next thing you know, my order has shipped on my original EDD (13th)!

I wouldn't put too much into what the Rep's say! I'd only start to worry if nothing has happened after your EDD on your Order Status page.

 

well mine is shipped!! And will actually get to me on Monday morning!! Now my question is should I go with what setup:

Setup 1: 256gb MSATA and 2x 750gb in raid 0

Setup 2: 512gb Samsung 830 SSD and 750gb HD

I got an official e-mail from Dell saying my date had changed to the 24th. I kept checking my Order Status anyway. I was curious to see if my EDD would change when it hit the 13th.

I checked on the 13th to find that my Order had shipped lol!

Like I said, start worrying if you go past your EDD date and your no further.

My order is dated 12/07 and my EDD is 27/07.

Hello guys! Just ordered my M17x R4 from Dell Singapore just this afternoon.

i7-3820QM (2.7-3.7)
2GB HD 7970M
16GB (4x4) 1600MHZ RAM
750GB 7200RPM (planning to add a sandisk extreme 240gb)
FHD 1920x1080P WLED LCD

It went from 'Order Received' to 'Work In Progress' in just a hour!
EDD is 2012-08-06. Ordered today on the 15th of July.

Order Received:
Your order has been received and is being transmitted to factory.

Work in Progress:
Your order is currently in Production. Production time includes obtaining the parts, assembly or build time, and testing.

Manufacture Build Complete:
Your order has been built and undergoing shipping preparations. Shipping preparations will vary based on type of order and size.

Ship from Factory:
After an order has completed the manufacturing process and shipping preparations, it is sent for Custom Clearance. After custom clearance, it will be transitioned to the carrier for delivery.

With local carrier:
Order is handed over to the carrier and will be delivered as per the shipping method chosen by you.

Delivered:
Your order has been delivered.

Awsome dude bet your excited ?! Haha and well no ive got WWI but i have no idea how to track it as on the order status page it says tracking number: Track here when i press it it takes me to a blank page pretty much :/

 

I know a bit about Walsh Western from when my delivery service was (briefly) with them before it changed to UPS.

Firstly, use the below link to track your order. Syncreon is the parent company of Walsh Western.

Secondly, you need to change the numbers for your Customer and Order references to make them work.

For Customer Number, change the "GB1" to 02. For instance, your Customer Number is GB1XXXXXXXX change this to 02XXXXXXXX.

For Order Number, add a 0 to the front of your number and remove the last digit. E.g. 27XXXXX6 to 027XXXXX

Also, have you had your e-mail from Dell yet stating your Order has been Shipped?

My order status page showed WWI until I got Dells e-mail. When I got their e-mail it was actually UPS who had my order!

Could be the same for you?!?

And no i havent had the email yet as its just randomly changed since yesterday i think and im not sure how long i have to wait for the email to come through as they dont work weekend im not sure if it was shipped friday but its taken a while for it to be updated on my status so ill let you know most likely be tomorrow when i get the email

Hmmm, mine didn't match either when I was supposed to be with them.

You will probably find when you get the e-mail from Dell your order is in fact with UPS.

I got my e-mail around 5pm on the day that my Order Status changed to "Shipped".

 

Fair enough ill speak to dell tomorrow, i reckon ill get the email tomorrow as it says 24-48 hours ill get it so yeah thanks for the help though

 

Who can I call/e-mail to get a more in-depth report about the status of my order? Based on what I have read online about production time, I doubt it will make my EDD.

 

I was wondering the same thing. Ordered July 6.

 

Trying to remember what some of you guys have said, has anyone had their order sit in pre-production for a while and still get to them on time? My order was on 7/5 and still shows pre-production with an EDD of 7/23.

 

We ordered the same day. What is your EDD?

 

I ordered 7/6 too!!! about noon-ish eastern time and it went into production about 10 minutes after Dell called me to confirm my credit card with them (some stupid issue with billing address). In any case, my EDD is 7/20 which includes next business day shipping. I am HOPING maybe it comes mid week since a lot of people get it sooner.

 

I ordered around 6PM Eastern Standard Time and got an EDD of 7/19. I too am hoping that it comes Tuesday or Wednesday but Tuesday seems unlikely.

 

Just to chime in here, I ordered 7/5 and was given an EDD of 7/19, too.

 

My EDD is 7/23

 

I ordered 7-10 and EDD is 7-25 since that's next week I'm hoping to get it this week ^.^

Wooo today is the day. Its out for delivery right now. Should be opening it in about 6 hours. Feels like i ordered it about a year ago though. Feels like christmas day morning right now!

 

Nice! Mine has finally shipped with a purolator tracking number. Weird it's not ups. It's somewhere in the states. Yayy. EDD was today so that was off. Order was placed 6/27

 

Mine shipped via FEDEX.

Mine is still listed as "In Production" with EDD 7/25

 

Ordered 7-15 with EDD of 7-31. I never even saw pre-production, it says in production now.

Funny, I used to always tell people that Alienware was a waste of money, and here I am waiting for my own. And I can't wait! Really wasn't much more expensive that the Sager I priced, though.

 

You won't be sorry once you get your hands on this sweet machine. This is going to be my second. Had a 15 that I sold earlier this year in anticipation of Ivy bridge.

Just a heads up if you're order seems to be sitting in Pre-Production too long. I called my sales rep today and was informed that he has to cancel and re-issue the order to get Production happening. Looks like my EDD is no longer going to be 7/23

I had a feeling that something was going sideways as my first order before I changed the processor went into production within a day and this one had been sitting in Pre-production for ten.

 

I'm with ya but that will be a shocker if it happens.

 

Does anyone know? I never really got an answer to this.

 

It was hit or miss for me. I waited almost 4 weeks to get mine. It shipped on Saturday out of the blue and actually was delivered today. I am setting it up now and downloading games.

When I called in about 1 every 3 times I would get someone who could provide me any more details.

 

I contacted my rep about a week after I ordered, and contacted Dell directly and got an outsourced rep a few days after that. Both told me that it's in production and still on target for my EDD. Two weeks later I contacted my American rep again and got no response, then my Dell CSR and specifically asked for more information and got the same canned response of, "Your order is in production and still on target to be delivered by your EDD."

I'd say contact Dell and cross your fingers. You'll either get someone who's actually willing to go the extra mile, or someone who's just going to throw the automated response at you. I hope your luck is better than mine.
