I have an Performance MX mouse which is working like a charm! But it's'connected with a tiny reciever how is this with the mamba?
-
The mamba has a charging station that you can use as a receiver when in wireless mode or just use it wired. What's awesome is the feel of the mouse in your hand and the general responsiveness of it. not to mention the looks
-
Well the 5600 DPI is just pure awesome. The accuracy is great.
The blue track wheel makes my hand ride a tron bike
The wireless mode is not bluetooth, rather it connects to its charger base(glows as well) so the wireless mode is more accurate than most wireless mouses, imo.

The Revelator Notebook Prophet
So, what is the verdict on the 10.5 Catalyst drivers?
-
Anyone figured out why the R2 wont charge sometimes? I have to remove the battery and reinstall to get this pile to charge sometimes.

I have been happy with logitech thus far, got speakers, webcams, mice, keyboards, the works from them haha
I use a VX Revolution or MX Revolution (Bluetooth version from the MX 5500 set) and love them both -
-
-
for BC 2 that is -
i saw that a lot of people said that it actually fixes the flickering in BC2, is your vsync on in game ?
-
Formatted again, trying to install FULL 10.5 including 2010 CCC and still it refuses it Install it. -.-'
-
Vsync doesn't work in BC2 you need to use D3DOverrider which is part of RivaTuner. Just load it before the running BC2 and you will have zero tearing.
-
-
Oh I'm not sure actually as I have D3D Overrider running all the time now, I'll check.
-
-
Don't the 10.5's need to be modded?
Those are desktop drivers if I am not mistaken. -

I wish they would just get rid of that function, really.
I know some people are freaks about laptop batteries and keep it removed when the system is plugged in and, in some peoples crazy cases, put in the fridge.
Will the stop-charging function prolong the battery life? Probably, but not so much as to need a dedicated switch that causes more issues than it does solve them -
I just recently picked up the MX5500 set at frys for 150$, totally worth the money. -

Especially since I got mine for $85

One spare is laying around now, but I really like it so I don't mind!
The plus about this mouse is the unifying reciever, which makes it possible to use one USB slot for two devices, (you can also use wireless Keyboard with the same reciever). -
nope, dont use vysnc. I heard 10.5 fixes the water/gun flickering which it did, but the regular screen flickering still appears. I have since gone back to 10.3b and the regular flickering is gone and i still get weird water flicking now and then. -

bluetooth=my unified receiver lol

In any case, Whenever I am plugged in I just disable the battery. Now, I usually don't turn off my computer, I just let it go to sleep. When it is on sleep mode I unplug the AC and it just drains the battery ever so slowly. Then before waking up my computer the next day I just plug it back in. Result: Battery is exercised being drained when the computer is off, and when it is on, the batter is disabled (no extra charging). After about a week or 2 of this, my battery is almost completely drained. Then I just enable the battery, get it to 100% and start all over.
I know, it sounds like OCD's but it makes me happy -
-
Me too. I have it disabled from even starting up. Logitech unified nano receiver ftw.

I've never had any use for BT.
-
Me neither.
I just began to use it when I bought the orochi mouse. lol -

It comes in handy for internet tethering.

Hey Guys,
Just got off the phone with my new EPP rep. I nearly pulled the trigger on my order, but I just can't help thinking the 5800s will be out soon. The rep, for whatever it is worth said that it would be 1-2 months. He suggested that I place the order and because of the backorder status, that I would "lock in" pricing; then change the order later. Sounds risky, but I'm at the point where my M1710 has been ridden hard and put away wet. It would be a shame to miss the 5800s by 1 month.

Hi, I've finally arrived in the M17x-R2 owner's lounge as well. Just got this sweet laptop, which was a replacement for my DPC-latency-ridden M17x-R1 and I'm impressed. It's so much better than the previous model. It appears there are no problems with the system either, but I haven't done much testing/gaming yet, still need to install a bunch of software. Fingers crossed.
