    I know, mine has been the same as for being stuck on the same status for 3 days, and different status on two pages. One is finalized production, one is shipping (SCshipping) Damnit! whats dell doing to my head.

    For me also. Ive never had a rig like this one im waiting on. This will be my first baby. :) and I dont think ive ever looked forward to something in my life so much. My girlfriend thinks im loosing my mind.

    Mine showed those three statuses sometime on the 15th or 16th (i saw them on the 16th) and FedEx just notified me they have the package and will be delivering it tomorrow. Dell still shows those statuses. FedEx has had the Order number in there system since about 4:30 am on the 16th.

    Well I just called my rep, and he told me they have shipped it to fedex... and its awaiting a shipping order number or something. He told me it should ship tomorrow. I ordered on the 7th. On the other hand I couldn't afford NBD.. so i till take 3-5. no big deal. Hopefully by wed next week. now that I think about it.. thats not to bad if it ships tomorrow, thats only 12 days from the day I ordered. And a very long 12 days. The first night I had nightmares of SPECS running through my head. NO JOKE. I really did.

    *sigh* called Customer service again in an attempt to get a clearer idea as to ship times, and guess what?

    they are still harvesting calls. they actually have a person answering the phone saying she cannot help me, please call back in 2 hours...

    me: But isn;t your office closed by then?
    Her: Yes, that is correct, but we can assist you better then.
    me: You can help me better when your office is closed? How does that work?
    Her: I'm sorry Sir, but I cannot assist you at this time.

    My ship date is still showing as 6th June. But my OZC vertex 3 max io edition arrived today along with my m18x bag. Unfortunately the bag has a rip on the inner laptop case so I'm sending it back - sone cheeky Dell e poohed stuck some cellotape over it as if that fixed it somehow. A bit annoying as it's a great bag - for £100 I'm definately having a replacement - not a good start for dell.

    Thanks for that, mine shows shipping info sent to fedex, but not received by them yet. Estimated delivery tommorrow.

    Guess that explains why they couldn't upgrade the shipping for me when I called today, as it apparently already has a label

    Estimated delivery doesn't really mean anything until they get the package, mine showed 5/17 since 5/16 until today when they actually got the box.

    On the dell Canada website it says Red may delay your order, anyways lets keep our fingers crossed lol and hope that as soon as dells "server maintenance" is over our orders update to shipped :)

    Yea man I'm in the same boat as you, i ordered it on the 4th and it still says in production while people who have ordered on the 6th-7th and after us are already receiving their systems. Just doesn't seem fair! :(

    I called in today, NONE of the reps had access to their systems to check into anything at all and on the dell website gives that stupid error message which doesn't even have the correct dates.

    This is what it says today on May 19th... (Canadian Website btw)

    Dear Customer

    The Dell Order Status system is undergoing maintenance. Details concerning your shipment status may not be available between the hours of 4pm (Central Time) May 14 and 10pm (Central Time) May 15. We appreciate your patience. Thank you for choosing Dell!

    Order Description: AW M18x R3, Red FR

    That is ridiculous, at least get the dates right dell if you can't get your service right!

    I can't wait for this baby to land. My order shipped Monday and that tracking hasn't changed since then, just says 'in transit' on purolator. I hope it doesn't take too much longer to get to Canada.

    Fedex still hasn't received it yet. I'm just happy that it has a tracking number and that it is only a estimated two day transit time from whereever to my house.

    Negative on the pre-oc'ed version. I've been overclocking my desktops for way too long to pay someone to do it for me.

    Would make sense, the advantage of the factory over clock is it's supposedly guaranteed, so I imagine more testing would be involved.

    2-4 days from what I have seen so far, but I imagine that is variable. At least part of that time is the machine getting shipped from China.

    I am still mulling over the self upgrades I will do once I receive my m18x. I already received my Kingston 16GB 1600MHz memory from Amazon. Now I am contemplating my HDD replacements. Zeroing in on Intel 510 250GB SSD and Seagate 750GB Momentus 7200RPM. I am hoping someone on here posts a confirmation that thicker HDDs can fit. 1TB 2.5 inchers come in 12 and 15mm thickness.
