    A part might have failed during testing, although I hope it hasn't it might be the case in reality. I would personally hate for them to tear apart my newly built system. Call them and find out more information (if the rep is honest hopefully, or can transfer you to some manager) and yell at them.

    OK, I called and the frist guy took my order number, but said he could not get any more info on it because it was EPP, so he transferred me. Next, the girl told me that their systems were down and she took my name, number and order number and said she would call me back once they are up again.

    did you see the bios settings on the 2920xm, dell is being a tighta$$ this time round about overclocking =[. once i get my 2920xm it wont matter. i think everyone will have the same overclock.

    Woot! I ordered my M18X (Red with extra RAM and a few other tweaks) on 05/07. Order was held up by my bank until the 9th.

    Original EDD was 5/31.

    Just received my tracking number via Fedex and it will be in my greedy little hands tomorrow 05/20 by 3:00 P.M. :)

    FWIW, I called the automated line last night and the system said mine was in the boxing stage and gave an estimated ship date of the 27th.

    Then I got the "shipped" email and tracking number this morning.

    So you never know...

    True, your right. It just doesn't make any sense - it should be FIFO, but thats not the case with Dell.

    I feel bad for the others and seeing people waiting for what seems like an eternity to get there system. One thing is for certain though - if it goes over two weeks, I think I will cancel the order.

    I will go to outlet or something instead....

    I called our corporate rep, not the EPP one, and he stated: "it likely ship out in few days +/-."

    So hopefully it should ship out by the end of the week, and then get it next week :)

    ...but nothing is certain :/

    The funny part for me is that my EDD is only 6 days away. I could go from kinda sad to annoyed and beyond really fast. I assume this will not be the case but you know what happens when one assumes...

    Well, Fedex usually does Home delivery - which does Saturday. So there is always a chance. However I had this delivered to my job, so it would have to wait till a weekday anyway.

    Good luck, but at that point, I would cancel my order and say screw it (if EDD passed). I would love to see how Dell does the orders...what is it...like roll of the dice, or wheel of building with peoples names on it?

    Man....mine just says FedEx has been electronically notified.....and it said that on 5/17 :(

    Thinks that is delivered today but I am not hopeful for when I get home. Still says "in production" on Dell's order status page as well. Maybe the EPP system just is trash for updating the status and such?

    Oh well, in the case - I guess you can wait for it :/ I didn't know it was an exchange and you possibly went though hell just trying to get the upgrade.

    If it was ordered new, then I would of said just cancel it.

    "Electronically Notified" usually means that they haven't picked it up yet, so it will be a few more days...more or less. Hopefully that is not the case though and you get it tomorrow :)

    You can try, but the few times I tried they had to make one delivery first before you can pick it up. Kind of a waste actually...
