    For what it's worth, I called in and asked them to expedite my order. My order date was 6/18 and it shipped today. According to FedEx it should be at my house tomorrow! My original EDD date was July 1X while my updated EDD was June 29th, which bares similarity to the updated EDD that some other people here got when they asked to have their orders expedited.

    If people haven't called Dell yet and really want to push their order dates forward just give them a call, chat, or email.

    Is it just me, or are all the people calling to get their orders escalated kind of like the drivers who go around traffic and then cut back in at the very last moment? They get to their destinately slightly faster, but it is at the expense of everyone else who they cut in front of.

    More like the people that are pulling up to a red light and move into the lane with less cars. Not breaking any rules, just not satisfied with settling like the other 8 dopes in the next lane. Same example could be used with people that use the EZ-Pass lane with a line of cars instead of going to the empty one... :D

    HOLY CRAP!!! just checked my order status and it said it shipped today (technically yesterday 6/25)!!!!!! I should expect it either the 29th or 30th. I ordered my M11x on the 19th of this month. I got an i5, 4gb of RAM, 250 gb HD, customized name plate, WoW pre-installed. And I asked for the standard 3-5 day shipping. I didnt email them, call them, nothing. I just sat and was patient. Just wanted to let you all know how fast I got mine. SO EXCITED!!

    Gets me really frustrated know that people ordering 9 days before mine are being shipped allready but i guess there is nothing i can do i allready got my sales rep to request a speed up in production it blows

    I guess Dell was just waiting to ship a certain number of them at once because mine just shipped last night too! I ordered on June 16th with an original EDD of July 9th.

    Mine officially left Memphis at 8:49pm last night and got to Indianapolis at 5:22am this morning (got free NBD shipping through EPP). Unfortunately I live in Chicago, and since it's Saturday, my tracking says I won't be getting it till Monday.

    Still very excited to get it though! So officially 9 days after ordering, it finally escaped Dell purgatory!

    Just in time to blow some money on Steam's sale too!

    Still shows my order date as 6/15/10, with a EDD of 7/8/10. For an r2 / i7.

    Nope, definitely not. My 6/8/10 order still is 7/6/10. I've tried asking what the hold up is several times and haven't gotten any sort of non-stock answer. At this point I can't see myself ordering from Dell again. It's very disappointing. Their total inability to provide meaningful information to a customer who has paid top dollar is completely unacceptable in my book.

    If I hadn't already ordered the anti-glare screen and the carrying case, I think I'd have cancelled the order. This has just been long enough time to realize that between their unbelievably shoddy customer service and the Optimus issues, that this might be more trouble than it is worth.

    My shipped yesterday, but I went with the free 7 day shipping. It's coming FedEx home service and it shipped just outside my state, so it's actually arriving today since they do Tues-Sat delivery instead of Mon-Fri delivery, heh.

    I know it's so hard. At least when mine ships it's next day air, but the longer I'm left waiting the more and more I'm second guessing my purchase. Specially after reading all the posts about the FFXIV benchmark and all the optimus issues!

    FFXIV is the only reason I bought the laptop, hoping it would run it well. I'm just hoping this i7 m11x r2 laptop can out perform my AMD Athlon Windsor FX-64 2.8GHZ / nVIDIA 8800 GTS desktop setup that's pretty outdated but still scored a 2100 on the FFXIV benchmark.

    I haven't seen any m11x R2 benchmark scores yet to reassure me.

    But it makes it hard because my $200+ of accesories I ordered from amazon just came in for my laptop, consisting of...

    -Razer Orochi BT Mouse
    -Razer Kabuto Mouse Pad

    Ordered mine in the UK on Friday 18th June and should have it delivered on Wednesday 30th. Pretty good as my original EDD was 7th July.

    Well ordered 6/10 original edd of 7/12 and just the shipped email came in today. Can't say I wasn't constantly checking because I was but very excited that it's finally on the way.

    4gb, 320gb hd, i7, wow preinstalled, steam preinstalled and customized nameplate so I probably hit every single option that would cause it to take longer.

    Alright I got an email about mine this morning that it had just been shipped. I called purolator with the tracking number and they said it would take 3-4 days crossing the American border, then a few to get to my house. Let's calculate.

    Order Date: 6/18
    Date Produced & Shipped: 6/25
    Cross American Border: 6/29
    Arrive at my house: 7/1-5
    ACTUAL EDD: 7/15 (Although on the dell site this hasnt changed.)

    BLAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH I want it FASTER >:| even though dell has cut out a little bit D:

    Ordered 6/13...Still EDD 7/08...No update at all...Dell's order fulfillment system makes no sense. Definitely considering cancelling at this point, especially with the Optimus issues...

    ^BigCTM, I ordered the day before you, and it shipped today, so it would make sense for yours to ship early next week (not tomorrow since it's a nonbusiness day). If it doesn't ship next week, you certainly have cause to complain, but before then I'm not sure why you don't think it makes sense.

    This gives me hope :p I'm assuming your in Canada like myself and not Mexico. I ordered mine on the 23rd, edd was july 19th ick. However if I get the same order treatment, then hopefully I get mine july 10-14thish.

    Dell's shipping still makes no sense to me though.

    I ordered on 6/16. Three days AFTER BigCTM placed his order and mine was sent with NBD shipping last night. It really is random. I have no idea what Dell is thinking...

    no. they're not being held back. I used the 21%+$100 off deal and i'm getting it on 6/30(ordered 6/15).
    I think this thread itself is just making people angry. If we didn't have this post no one would be complaining, and we'd only hhttp://forum.notebookreview.com/images/icons/flags/pw.gifave people happy that their order came in earlier than dell anticipated. I think whiners should stop whining, cause if you had a problem with the EDD from the getgo, you should've cancelled it the first day you ordered it and was informed about the EDD.
    So everyone please be patient. :)

    I got my "Order has shipped" e-mail today. It stated the m11x apparently shipped yesterday (June 26th). Of course, there was no tracking number in the e-mail nor has my "Order Status" page been updated. I would guess it's the usual Purolator shipping service.

    For anyone curious, I ordered on the 15th of June from Dell Canada, so only about a week and a half of "In production". My original EDD was July 12th.

    -R2 Stealth Black "Soft Touch"
    -i7
    -4GB RAM
    -500GB 7200RPM HDD
    -Standard Nameplate (Dell Canada does not offer customized nameplates)

    I would guess if it has indeed shipped, it would take at least a week to get into my hands. Still, I'm glad. I can't believe I'm saying this, but I will be much happier with dealing with courier customer service than Dell's customer service.

    This would seriously me off. I'd probably be checking my status like every other hour at that point.

    Just wondering, are you located in the US zhed? Cause 6/10 order date and still in production sucks grotesquely large balls.
