    Replacement for m1330 was ordered on 6/11, and it was shipped out today (6/27).

    Well at least we know shipping order doesn't necessarily depend on location either. I ordered 6/16 through epp, got an original edd of 7/8, and got it changed to an edd of 6/28. I didn't have to call or anything (my config is in the sig). Since I'm in Illinois too, there really is no reason that you should be getting it later than me.

    I really do believe Dell is just picking these at random now...

    I have an question to those whose m11xr2 is still in production. Did they charge you from your credit card? It seems to me they havent charged me.

    I ordered on 6/14 and it is still in production with the EDD 7/9. I live in New York City.

    They hit me with the initial $980 pending charge, left it on the account for a few days and then removed it. I bet they'll charge me again when it ships, or maybe they cancelled my order. idk. I ordered a day after you, have an EDD of 7/8.

    Reps say that just to get you off the phone. There is nothing you can do. Plain and simple. Just wait and it will get shipped before the EDD. I don't know how many times I need to say this.

    I ordered 6/10 with an EDD of 7/8. Called Dell on Friday and they said that my laptop was at the end of production and should be shipped out in a business day or two. With NBD shipping, does that mean I could expect it by Tuesday at the earliest >.>?
    Or is Saturday a business day? In which case, maybe *salivates* Monday?

    It should say on your order page whether it shipped and the tracking number if it has already.

    Ordered 6/15 through EPP and shipped next day air today 6/27...Lunar Shadow, i7, 4GB, 250GB HD, BT, Personalized plate...orders seem to be taking 10-12 days on average.

    My 6/8 order is still 7/6 which only gives them a few days this week to ship to make the EDD. Here's to hoping this ridiculous wait ends soon.

    If you havent received your order yet I really recommend you get a real person at Dell and have them email you and check on your orders for you. dont be rude, just tell them your order number and ask them to please check on it for you.

    ordered 6/8, est ship was 7/9, got an e-mail that it shipped Sunday morning! next day was free so it says I am getting it Tuesday, sort of excited but worried about OC performance and optimus issues now.

    Finally. Ordered 6/12 with EDD of 7/7.

    Status just changed to shipped today. EDD didn't change but the carrier is listed as FedEx so I guess I'll see it tomorrow or the next day with next business day delivery.

    hey guys, what's the order status phone number? I tried the old one I used that gave the detailed status like "in the build stage" "boxing" etc. 1800 283-2210, and 4,2,1,1 doesn't work anymore.. and 3 option is the bad status one that just says processing.. looking to see detailed status of my replacement.

    great for you all that will get the laptop soon..

    but me order on 10/6 n the order page always show order received there no progress then one day they call me but the line is engage so I call them but put me on voice. Then they did not call me back its okay for me so I check my order status page it show cancel(so great) now I have to call back but this time REP call me back n he say my laptop is on delay because or shortage item ,maybe mid July will get it.

    THis is unbelievable. I ordered the same thing but for a 250 gb hard disk and I got no shipping or news or phoque all from dell. Ordered on the 10th of june for a EDD of 12th July.

    I am now a dell hater.

    looks like they finally got everything in order to send out most of the r2's. Should be getting mine tommorrow! I can't wait. One thing I noticed on my invoice was it said my package was 18.8lbs!? How is it that heavy? Even with the power brick and packaging, I can't imagine it being over 7 or 8 lbs for the whole thing.

    Any ideas why the deivery weight is 18.8lbs but the laptop itself is only 4.5lbs?

    Well my package came in a pretty small box and it was 10lbs so I wouldn't freak out too much. It depends on the type of packaging that Dell decides to use. Also sometimes the electronic shipment information that Dell provides to the shipper is wrong/generalized. For example, when I shipped back my Studio XPS 1340 for a refund FedEx said the package was 44lbs.

    You shouldn't worry too much. Maybe they shipped you 3 alienware m11x laptops :D

    My Dell invoice said 5kg but the courier says 3 kg which is more like the real weight I guess.

    Maybe Dell round it up for shipping purposes......eventhough not sure why they would?

    Has anyone else tried calling for an update on their status today?

    I'm calling from the US and at 9 was told the system was down and to call back in 2 hours. Called at 11:30. System down, call back in 2 hours. Called at 2:45. System down, call back in 3 hours.

    This is like a comedy routine of terrible customer service.

    Unfortunately, I just had an unexpected business trip dropped on me. It's after my EDD next week, but close enough (2 days after) that I'd like an assurance that it's on track to at least hit the EDD. Frustrating as hell.

    My EDD was changed to 6/29 over the weekend, but Fedex shows that the package is 'OnFedEx vehicle for delivery' right now. Kind of exciting. :)

    I'm just calling the standard 1-800-624-9897 customer service number and trying to talk to a rep. Unfortunately, Skynet became self-aware at 7:52 AM and took down their call center.

    I was hoping mine would update soon as well, but I am still thinking it is a Dell Canada thing. I ordered on June 10, it went to "In Production" right away and has not updated since. EDD is still July 12.

    I got an i5. I have not seen too many people here say they got an i5, especially Canadians. I thought there might have been a chance that it would ship faster since the i5 was in less demand (and hopefully in stock), but so far no dice. It seems like Canadians (I'm in Edmonton) just have to wait longer.

    I am now trying to get my DIY basement renovation work done before it gets here, so then I can use it's arrival as a "reward". My wife still does not know I bought it, so this scenario might work in my favour anyway. :)

    Ordered 6/15, EDD 7/8. Talked to a rep just now, and they basically recited everything I already knew from the order status page, I asked if they had a more detailed status of the order, and he told me from what he is seeing it will most likely ship out in the next 2 or 3 business days and that I will likely have it before this weekend or by Monday of next week. That is the first time they have given me any dates before the EDD, after 4 or 5 online chats and 2 phone calls. I'm now satisfied, at least as satisfied as I'm going to be until my order arrives.

    The order status number is 1-800-433-9014 and its 24/7 but it basically just tells you your order is either in the "Production stage" or "shipped"

    I just called 1-800-624-9897 their customer service rep line and she told me she will call me back on Wednesday to give me a update and "expedite" my order. Lol I will believe it when I see it. :p

    welp dunno when my EDD is, doesn't show on the site and CS doesn't know either since it's a "replacement" system. It shows on the order status site it was placed 6/23/10 and if I configure I system to my same specifications today, it shows an EDD of 7/7/10 so I guess sometime around or beforethere with NBD shipping... R1 build

    Timeline:
    6/18 Order Date
    6/25 Produced/Shipped (Status Changed)
    6/26 Recieved email about the tracking number and I made a phone call, apparently it takes 3-4 days to cross the border, I'm waiting on purolator to give me an update
    6/30 Assuming purolator didn't lie, my m11x should be in Canada
    7/1-5 It should arrive.

    I am glad your M11x is shipped and on it's way, but it is frustrating to see so many people that ordered later than me receive their units that much earlier. Unless there is a part shortage or something, it should be first come first serve. "Booo" to Dell playing favourites! :cool:

    Hello everyone,
    after lurking about 4 weeks in this Forum i decided to order one M11xR2. Having the ESL Pro Bonus in Germany i got a i7, 4GB RAM, 500GB HDD, BT for 1044 Euro's thats about 1285 US Dollar. What i saw from your Coupons it's not easy to find equivalent prices if you are in Germany -.- 1285 dollar is not cheap at all but i hope it's worth it.
    But to the Order Status:
    Ordered: 22.06
    EDD: 16.07
    since 25th "in Production"

    hope they will deliver it earlier (but hopefully after Optimus issues has been taken care of)

    Well, my order from June 10 has finally just updated. The EDD is still July 12, but now it says "shipped". I feel better that something has actually happened. :) The EDD did not change, but at least it is started it's trek from the US into Canada.

    Ordered: 06/18, Shipped 06/25 (11:50pm so really 06/26).
    Purolator just called today, said for someone to be home tomorrow to sign for it. So delivery date of 06/29. Roughly 2-3 business days from shipped status to delivery in Canada. (I asked the question earlier about the length of time from shipped to delivered status in Canada, so figured I'd answer my own question, in case others were curious).
    Total of 11 days from order to delivered, better then I was thinking it would be. especially since my edd was 07/15

I am in the west (Edmonton) and I hear they laptops enter the country in the the east (Toronto). That may add a few days to my time if you live in the east. Thanks!

    Hey guys..I found a new Dell Customer care number 1-800-247-2076 that I called (press 2 to get a customer care rep) and got additional info on my order status!! (Core i7, 500gb hard drive, 4 gb ram, personalized nameplate..I'm from Dallas, TX)

    I ordered on 6/15 and my online order status still shows estimated ship date as 7/8..The rep whom I spoke to however told me my laptop is past the testing phase and is already in the box waiting to be shipped..Really excited about it and wanted to share this with everyone...

    East end here. Toronto. I wouldn't think it wouldn't add more then a day or 2 at most, I'm guessing once it's in Canada (ie across border) would be fairly quick. Wish you luck though I'm thinking you'll get yours pretty fast.
