ok seriously whats the number to talk to a live person? my EDD is still set for tomorrow on the site but on both the site and the automated number thing they both say my order is "being processed" or "in production" shouldnt it have shipped by now if im supposed to get it tomorrow??? Its just a little annoying that i ordered before most of you and im still getting it later -_-"

soo if anyone has the number for a live rep it would be greatly appreciatted

UPDATE: GAH! just got an email saying its getting delayed till 7/22. i ordered this thing 6/28, thats almost a full month of waiting for this machine -_-

 

When I first ordered my m11x, the eta was 7/20/2010, and I checked yesterday and the eta has changed to 7/16/2010 and is in the mail already!

 

Mine is still in construction after a week. Is this normal? My ETA is still 7/26.

 

1 or 2 week seems normal for it to be in production

 

Looks like my machine is at the local Fedex store this morning at 5am, so my guess is it will be delivered at around 9 or 10am. Now I just have to call my GF to go home, hijack the house and look for the Fedex delivery guy sitting on the front porch and not get up till he is there.

 

Mine is on its way to me...I really hope it get here in the next two hours. I've got tickets to the Cubs game and i really dont wanna have to go to the fedex location to pick it up after the game.

 

Just a quick question to all of you who are having their orders shipping to them right now. Does the shipping commence immediately after your production has completed?

 

Mine was listed at "In Production" yesterday morning.

 

Not sure.
Mine finished production but it said, "Delivery Preparation" for a day. Though I am not sure if that is normal.

Edit: Oh yeah, my M11x shipped to day Now just to wait a week...or hopefully less

 

I'm just wondering because my rep called me yesterday saying my production has completed and that I should be receiving an update regarding the shipping information very soon. However, I still haven't receive anything yet, and my status page is still "in production".

 

The planets in the universe have aligned! My order is currently on the Fedex truck scheduled for delivery

Be patient guys, the agony of wait can be unbearable, but the excitement from the anticipation of finally receiving it is all worth the wait.

I can't do this anymore! I just got back from work and its out for delivery! The wait gets worse and worse the closer it gets... until you see the angel we know simply as, "The FedEx Man".

I need to drive home to pick it up. Order placed on 6/28 and delayed to 7/21
Shipped on 7/15 NBD

I CANT WAIT ANY LONGER TO USE IT!!!

I called in on monday to cancel my order and order a fast track one instead because they were virtually the same model and I did not want to wait 2 weeks when I didn't have to. I couldn't cancel it because it was in the packing and testing phase but since they thought I was going to cancel it I was upgraded shipping and I am currently waiting on it to arrive today!
Total waiting time for a i5 250gb = 7 days.

 

I also received a call/email a couple days ago saying my production order was finishing up in the next 2-3 days... it's been >5 weeks since my original order placement (EPP) for Core i7/4GB/160GB/BT...

My order is still "In production" as well as of this morning...

I figured out the secret. All I had to do was cancel the order and get a Vaio Z 122GX/B.

Wow! Everyone's laptop is arriving...except mine . The rep just call and informed me that it usually take a day or two after the production phase is completed until it is shipped. Hopefully I get it early next week .

 

I ordered it less than a day ago and I'm already going mad from the wait, lol.

 

Mine is still "On FedEx vehicle for delivery". I think their standard is by 3pm so I have another hour to wait.

I just went downstairs to tell the shipping gnomes that Dell might not have put my name on the box but I'm expecting it today. At least that will prevent it from going to the wrong IT department.

EDD for 7/22 and I cannot wait anymore. Now I remember why I always ordered refurb'd Dells in the past, fast shipping. Ordered on 7/10 so I guess I can't complain too much.

 

Update: Interestingly enough, my order arrived at the FedEx Location in Chicago, IL
It is currently in transit .

Yeah. I ordered mine on 6/29 and it said EDD 7/14.
After it never got updated... then it did... it became EDD 7/22 on like july 7th =(
Then it turned into 7/20
Then it suddenly said shipped on 7/14. I got it today. 7/16

LOL .

 

I had 7 day shipping too...fedex got mine yesterday and im typing on it today so it shouldnt take 7 days.

I live in NYC and used the free 7-day shipping coupon two weeks ago and my R2 came in a day
FedEx shipped it on 6/30 and I got it the next day on 7/1.

 

I live down in Kansas City, Missouri.

I actually also used one of those free coupons too.

 

Wow...i'll be shocked if you dont get it within a day lol...if they delivered from TN to NY in 1 day, then it should be even faster for you.
I'm glad I ordered the Fast Track system, i couldnt wait as long as some people here...the only difference with what i wouldve liked was getting the Lunar Silver system and the smaller 160 hdd but o well...i'm happy with the fast track system which only ended up being $30 more and i got it in 2 days

 

anyone in europe shipping via Walsh Western. Couple of us frmo the UK had machines ship out on Monday but no updates (which is unusual).

I just looked at my email to see one from Dell saying "Dell order has shipped".

At first I was like OMGBBQ, then I click it, and it's the orion portfolio...

I'm due to get it a full 8 days before my actual computer. x_x

 

Well today should be the day. Ordered 6/24 and Fedex says it is on the truck in my town. I can't wait .... have had the Portfolio, screen guard, SD HD and DVD burner for weeks now. Now I have to explain the new machine to my woman lol.

Is the Dell order status page broken? Whenever I try to look at it I get some sort of ASP server error. It was working just a day before, and I need to track my order...

 

I know last night it wasn't working but it was back up, for me, this morning.
