Mine is coming from Chicago to Kansas City. It was shipped yesterday and expected to deliver tomorrow... I am not sure if they all ship from there or what

I ordered mine on the 7th. Still "In Production"

How do I check a more detailed order status? I tried 1-800-283-2210 number and put my order number in but it says "received January 30th"...
I also tried the 1-800-433-9014 number but it doesn't work. -
So total craziness with my order. Web site still says "In Production" and EDD 8/18/10 but when I called a rep (I use the 800-433-9014 number), the automated response says it shipped today Aug 13 ...BUT when I spoke to a rep, they said it has been delayed UNTIL EDD 8/27/10!! When I let out a howl at that, he went back and said the EDD is really 8/23/10!!
Is this some kind of psychological mind games they play with you?
I asked for faster shipping - I now have 7 day - but he said he could not do that because my laptop has completed production and is ready to ship. What??? None of this makes any sense.
My husband says I need to chill out but this is driving me nuts. I want my M11x-R2!!

So far, so good. The system runs like a dream. Honestly the best laptop I've used in a while. Pictures really don't do it justice.
The screen shuts so that a piece of paper cannot be pulled out. There are no cracks in the hinges.
The foam in the air port seems a bit uneven, but I'll manage.
The lighting on the front grill has a two spots where the plastic isn't uniform color, but really minimal and only there if you look for it really.
I like AlienFX, but I'm somewhat disappointed because I can't figure out how to set the color of the outside case alien head. Hoped that is fixed with an update.
Did a complete backup with Acronis True Image. Came in just shy of 8.8 GB. My 60GB SSD is coming tomorrow (I didn't expect my M11x to come so early!)
The facial login wasn't really something I cared for, but it was kinda cool. I still feel safer with a obscure password.
The i7 runs faster than my desktop's (XPS 720) Core2Duo. Granted, the C2D has served me most faithfully for over 2 years. The desktops Mobo has become faulty twice now, so I'm really hoping Dell has stepped up quality control for their newer Mobo's.
Okay, questionnaire time:
Where does it display Nvidia driver version? (Assuming the Control panel
Where does it display BIOS version? (I assume the BIOS, but hey, doesn't hurt to ask)

My R2 is at the Fedex place nearest to me now! But they won't deliver it until Monday. >.< Wonder if I can call Fedex in the morning and go pick it up.

Darn Fed Ex. My laptop is about 4 hours away in Atlanta, GA, but they say they won't deliver it until next Tuesday...urrghh.
Not only that but their web site says it has "departed" the Atlanta (Ellenwood,GA) location. If the package has "departed" where is it going if not to my house???

Mine was shipped from Atlanta, GA, for some reason, but we are just a 2 and half hour drive from Atlanta.
They have my laptop but won't deliver it until Tues....wah, wah....I guess because I chose 7 day shipping I must be punished.

Arrived at Schenker Terminal this morning. They hold it so they could make a phonecall to see if I was to be at home on Wednesday, instead of delivering according their estimation.
I picked it up myself though.

And just got shipping confirmation of my turtle beach headset and razer orochi.

Hello everyone,
I ordered my M11x on August 01, the EDD was 16/08, then it changed to 23/08, the again to 17/08. On Saturday I received an email telling me that my order was shipped via FEDEX, with an EDD of 17/08, but when I track the package with the tracking number DELL provided me, in only shows "Aug 11, 2010 2:30 PM Shipment information sent to FedEx", it has been like that since Saturday. So, should I expect to get mine tomorrow?, I called FEDEX and they said that Dell hasn't sent the package yet.
Anyone with the same situation?
