SU4100 from my sig. And yes, I have PhysX installed and enabled. Will do the tests without it tomorrow.

I tried to do Crysis benchmark and today I'm passing. Seems like Maximum Edition doesn't include timedemos in the install folder. I have to investigate that.

Kitir, you can get the Crysis demo benchmark (you need Crysis itself installed tho) from the original post in this thread.

All my benchmarks and tests were with PhysX disabled. I had no idea there is that option in Control Panel... :D

But OK I have repeated 3DMark06 and Vantage tests with and without PhysX. In short, it barely has any effect on those scores. My Vantage is still around 2700... I didn't take a screenshot of that. 3DMark06 is still pretty much the same, in around ~6400.

    This is 3DMark06 with PhysX: 6463 - http://img534.imageshack.us/img534/9438/imageiw.jpg

    This is 3DMark06 without PhysX: 6473 - http://img52.imageshack.us/img52/907/imagefx.jpg
In fact by rerunning 3DMark06 with the same settings, I broke my old record, this is almost 6500 marks with only CPU OC. Very nice. Now I'm tempted to OC the GPU, I'm sure I could go on top5... damn you guys so tempting now. :)

I don't think so. Here its dedicated benchmarking tools, and built in gaming benchmark tools. Although there is an M11x Gaming discussion thread. They might have some more insight in that.

Thanks, I'll play with that later today. <- can't find anything helping. I have Crysis benchmarking tool already, but it is not working with my game version. No clue as far.
But, from curiosity I'll install and try to benchmark Far Cry.

Here Stalker scores without PhysX (higher scores! ):

Anyone willing to benchmark with the latest nvidia "Verde" 197.16 WHQL drivers (aka official notebook release)? Finally supports 335M!

As a side note how long do you think it will take to to work its way over to Dell for a Hybrid release?

Finally, I managed how to run benchamrk with my Crysis game (I had to make .log myself).
Because I have still issues with Crysis benchmarking tool I'm posting results as is (after completing all 3 runs program is not calculating average score and I'm getting error window). Results are repetitive, but I can't see any sense to make them since I can't prove results properly. Here I'm posting just for curiosity. Beside benchmarking tool, game is runnig absolutely flawlesly on med specs.

Great numbers kitir! Thanks for sharing. It is strange how you and unreal25 both seem to have slightly better FPS numbers than those with the SU7300.
You must have a gem of a processor, congrats!

Kitir, Are you running vista? And is that the latest crysis benchmark tool? I'm not sure if there are various versions. I have yet to work on my crysis benches.

I was finally able to get around to a few more benchmarks I've been meaning to do for a while.

Here is my Resident Evil 5 benchmark, and Tom Clancy's Hawx benchmark.
natbyte - Do you remember what settings you used for your RE5 Benchmark?

I'm on W7 as in my sig. I used latest bechmark tool as I could find. It is "final version", but they stopped developing before W7. I made few runs of pure benchmark_GPU.bat file in Crysis folder (it is the same test) and I'm getting same scores. Something is just wrong with benchmark tool software, maybe it is slightly different UAC on W7 or similar thing. Strange it is not quite working for me and others had no issues.
I compared pics posted on the first page. I used v.5767 while others have used same or v.6156 <- seems there is newer. I have to find that and will try again. Thanks for leading me an idea.

Which is a good benchmarking tool for battery? Where can I find it?

Pretty weird comparisons imo. If you want to compare m11x against 16" laptops compare it against m15x or m17x [that would be fun, ha?]. Also it would be very interesting to see GPU temperatures of other laptops, especially Dell XPS :D series let's say after 2-3 hours of gaming. Then you figure for yourself how long will those laptops last with regular hour+ long gaming sessions. For example, there is a really good review/comparison Sony Z vs m11x on this forum (under Notebook Reviews). Sony Z has very good performances, but I ask you are you willing to push your $2k+ laptop every day to 90 C ? I know I would be concerned. What is the use of having great GPU if you can't use it properly?! So you can run 3DMark06 for 5 mins and brag how it's almost the same as m11x? I don't get it.

@Apt2L: It comes with the laptop -- it's the laptop itself. lol :D If you want to track how long will it last say, idle, just put it idle and track it.

@DR650SE: Did you install any Crysis patches? I ran it with the original version 1.0.

@Unreal25 - I was trying to find some software which would give me an estimate how long will the battery under different conditions in few minutes rather than actually using the laptop till it runs out of battery. Unfortunately I havent got a chance to use it more than couple of hours since work has been so crazy :(

I had the same. There is missing file "benchmark_GPU.log" in the folder, where game is installed. You have to make empty .txt file and rename it as I wrote. Then put it in the folder: Electronic Arts\Crytek\Crysis\Game\Levels\island\.
Should start benchmarking (start screen with loading bar is the same, be patient).

I am just confused as to how the su7300 scores are equal to the su4100 when the 7300 has more cache. My wife has the 7300 but I dont have another m11x to compare it with. Any thoughts? Thanks, StevenX

They score equally because the Cache size really doesn't make much differance in the benchmarking tests. What makes a differance there is the frequency at which the CPU is running. Thus the same results as both are running at 1.3GHz or 1.73GHz. The extra Cache helps in running virtual systems. The SU7300 is designed to run virtual systems where as the SU4100 is not. The SU7300 is not worth the extra $100 if you don't run virtual systems. In that case it's pretty much an unneccesary added cost.

Awesome Job orangeclockwork! Scores have been updated.

+1 for that! as far as that top score, I've had a hard time getting anything over 7090 since I did that run. Been trying to break it for a while.

New drivers seem to help. I installed them today, but at real high clocks, I havn't been able to beat my #1 score...yet

Has anyone tried setfsb (software) instead of the bios overclock to see what type of results you get? Curious of one provides more results than another.

Stevenxowens792, We've tried it all, in this thread.

    M!!x clock generator ICS9LPRS387BKLF

SetFSB works off the PLL. The M11x has a locked PLL. Only way we've found thus far is a pin mod
