Maybe we can organise a group-purchase of the M11X Sleeve ?
I had a couple of shipping quotes of around $50 - it could be affordable if a few of us got together and placed one larger order...

I could get the ball rolling on this UK shippment thing, but you would all have to wait till the end of May for shipments to be sent out (I get a discount on fedex at that time)

Or else I could get a bunch of them and ship them to one of you guys in the UK for you to distribute to the remaining people.... but that might get kinda confusing with shipping costs and what-not.

PM me if you guys want to get started on this.

email me your user name, real name, and your email address so I can keep a list.

I suspect you can only make it affordable through FedEx by shipping the whole bundle to one person to redistribute from here - their international prices are very steep.
I had a quick look on the USPS site USPS - The United States Postal Service (U.S. Postal Service) and it looks like you could probably ship them individually via First Class Airmail for around $15.

Is anyone still looking for an $8 Case Logic eSling? A local Best Buy that insisted that their computers were wrong finally found a couple (El Cajon, CA; San Diego area). I bought one in addition to the one I got at another local Best Buy (Mira Mesa, CA; confirmed OOS after a recent full-store inventory reduced the count from 4 to 1; PM'd after paying twice as much).

I'm disappointed that it doesn't have any padding on the shoulder strap (digs into my neck) but it really is the perfect size.

Oh! And my Timbuk2 hidden backpack barely fits it with enough room left for a small padded sleeve. Now I need a good sleeve for when I carry it on the motorcycle that way.

I bought Case Logic lightweight backpack. The m11x doesn't fit perfectly in the laptop separation (it's built for 15" laptops) but it works fine for me. The padding is very good and the size is exactly how I wanted:

Ya I got that Sumo sleeve as well. It's super thick with padding.

As for as the Case Logic Esling, I also agree it sucks that it has no padded shoulder strap. For $8, who could complain though. I ended up buying velcro padded strap online from Amazon anyways.

Regarding the velcro padded straps on Amazon:
Which one did you buy? Would you recommend it or would you suggest that I try a different one?

If no one wants my extra one I'm might be interested in modding on an optional flap fastener of some kind and a handle (I'd rather use a handle once I dismount). I have to wear it backwards on the motorcycle and even then the flap comes up and flaps around sometimes.

Air Cell Lined Velcro Shoulder Strap Pad Addon

It'a great. The only problem is that the Case Logic Esling shoulder strap is 1.5" wide while that shoulder pad is made for a 2" wide strap. If you velcro it as tight as possible it doesn't slide around really. Either way that thing is comfy, might be worth it to stitch it into the strap.

As far as the flap, go to a home building supply store like Lowes and get the sticky sided velcro straps and attach that. That will be the end of that crappy lose flap.

I plan on using a Resident Evil 5 messenger bag ( http://www.gamestop.com/Catalog/ProductDetails.aspx?product_id=73742)), but was looking for something to keep the laptop a little more padded in the case--maybe a neoprene sleeve or something. Anyone have a suggestion? I was originally thinking the Alienware brand sleeve, but for $30 I'll browse around first.

I'm looking for something to mostly protect the edges/corners, as this seems to be the most overlooked area when it comes to bags/cases.

I'm using a strange, old man who carries my laptop around for me in an oaken box, fashioned by indians in the late 19th century. I have him bound to me in indentured servitude. :)

...Just kidding. I need to buy a case. All I have is the little pseudo-velvet bag Dell gave me.

I originally purchased the Orion Messenger Bag and though its awesome, its just too big for everyday use. Last week I received the Orion Portfolio Bag and its absolutely awesome! Its small, very well made and just look amazing. I can't recommend it enough. :)

This is probably what I'm gonna get for my m11x Dakine Messenger - Small at Zappos.com. The dimensions say it should fit very snugly in the laptop compartment and should have enough room for books and such.

I've ordered the M11x sleeve should be great. I haven't received my M11x yet but when it arrives I plan to continue using my Oakley S.I. computer bag. It is awesome, I'll just toss the M11x in the sleeve and then in my Oakley bag. The bag isn't too heavy or difficult to carry and allows me to carry everything I need.

No, it doesn't fit. It'll fit in the regular compartment, (a bit taller than the bag) but not in the laptop compartment. It's too small. I bought it, but returned it.
