Hah. Well I must say that Bagcrazy have pretty good customer service. I ordered on the Friday evening. They sent out the item Monday and I received it on Tuesday. Sadly it was the sleeve, so I rung them up, they said I can keep it. They then sent out the Portfolio, and it arrive today (Wednesday).

No complaints. Nothing but good recommendations for them.

I just got the Alienware Porfolio Case, and a Alienware skin to better protect it/ add some bling to it.

I really love the case, very well made. only down side is it doesnt hold much, but i am able to store a mouse, mouse pad, power supply, flash drives, and thin external hardrive. The back of the case has a velcro net pocket, and it also has a screen where the fan is under the M11x so you can use it in the porfolio.

Sorry about the picture quality, ill take better ones and with the skin applied.

I also got the Alienware portfolio. I am a little concerned about the placement of the zippers, I don't want them scratching the top of my laptop. I guess that's what skins are for but I got the Mirror's Edge skin for my Xbox and it sucks. Started pealing off the day I put it on. Have fun putting that skin on a non-flat surface, the Xbox was hard enough to get looking perfect. Please do post some pics once you get it done though.

I bought the Apple 13" incase sleeve case. It fits my M11x and iPad plus all of my accessories. It's the smallest profile case I have found so far.

Its done, took like 5 mins to put it on, went on really easy, no bubbles at all. I got it from invisibledefenders.com. If you want have a friend help you guide it on like they suggest.

Yes, but there is no flap on the front; just two pouches with a zipper going across the front to enclose the pouches.

I am using the neopreene case that dell has on their site, I got it for free via haggling. It also goes in my swiss brand backpack, quite satisfied. I love the neopreene case since it has a top pocket for my flash drives!

I've searched pretty extensively for a good case for my m11x and found one that works perfect. It's the Targus - Messenger Laptop Case - Black, which can be found at Best Buy. Here's the link:

I am rocking a Timbuk2 Commute Messenger. My m11x fits with the power supply in the external laptop compartment. I had this for my M1330 and transitioned over perfectly for me.

Running the AW Sleeve from Mobile Edge

Also have the ME Mini Messenger Bag for day to day and ME Express Backpack for when I travel

I always put my M11x into the neoprene sleeve then into whatever bag Im carrying that day. Keeps my M11x quite safe

I carry mine in a Targus Backpack with my 7805u to school everyday. Of course it stays in the little alienware pouch it came in(with the white fabric screen protector still in it, I'm so anal...lol).

    Challenge,

I need a case that will fit:

    -m11x
    -m11x AC adapter
    -Razer Lachesis
-Razer Goliathus Standard mouse pad (am considering getting a smaller pad for travel)
    -1m HDMI Cable
    -1m ethernet cable
    -in-ear headphones
-optional: xbox360 controller for windows (wired), portable HDD

I would like something that is messenger style and in simple black colour, but I'm open to suggestions.

In terms of what has been posted before I can't really tell whether those bags could fit some or even all of the items above.

The only thing I came up with so far (which will probably not fit everything) is this

Burnoaa Dell 12 12.1 inch Memory Foam Notebook Case Bag - eBay Shoulder Bags, Backpacks, Bags Briefcases, Men's Accessories, Clothing, Shoes Accessories. (end time 30-Aug-10 19:09:00 AEST)

    and this

    http://cgi.ebay.com.au/SPHYNX-Women...Accessories&hash=item27b2c7c8d6#ht_7276wt_987

The other option would probably be the STM Alley 13inch or Booq Taipan Small or XS (don't remember which size exactly).

    Any suggestions?

    Thank you.

For me Im using an Incase 13in Macbook sleeve and to carry all my crap in I picked if the REI Urban Sling backpack. Very cool take on a laptop backpack, one single center strap that can be attached at either the right or left side.

I am using this one (without the graphics though) It fits the computer perfectly in the main pocket, no sliding around or anything. Then it fits my power supply, tactx headphones and tactx mouse in the front pocket.

I have recently purchased the Ful Brick House sling. Comes in a multitude of colors and is great fit for M11x (+sleeve you you want more protection). It has lots of extra pockets...side pocket for the power brick and mesh pocket for umbrella/drink bottle. Great little sling carrier that will fit all your gear you listed above.

    Ful Brick House Sling

I bought it on Amazon with for $35.99 + shipping

I just received my m11x Neoprene sleeve today. The zippers are scaring me, it looks like it will scratch the laptop. It look me a minute to get it fit into the bag because the sleeve is really tight. I put a box in it right now to stretch out the sleeve, hope this will let it fit in easier.

I felt the same way when i tried storing it in the sleeve the first time. It helps to fold the top half out and then insert with the rear of the m11x towards the zipper. While you are placing it inside take your thumb against the side of the sleeve and stretch.

Its a real nice sleeve, very happy with my purchase.

I had the Portfolio case, used it for a few days but really didnt like it much, it is nice, but it doesnt hold much of anything besides the m11x.

Now i use the Alienware Neoprene sleeve for it and the Alienware Orion messenger bag to keep everything in and these 2 cases are amazing.

after going through this whole thread I haven't found a small backpack for the m11x. Does anyone know of one?

I'd like a backpack for the m11x for school that isn't huge on the part that 'protrudes' from your back aspect.

e;\ I suppose thin backpack is a better description.

Ok guys, I need a bag that can protect my laptop inside my backpack.
I will be carrying my M11x all over the place at my university, and I am afraid that some of the heavier notebooks might damage the M11x.

    Any suggestions?
    Preferably sub 50 dollars.

    http://forum.notebookreview.com/alienware-m11x/503288-looking-hard-case-m11x-4.html#post6550735

That's my radtech Mac Truck case. A few of us here have ordered them thanks to avservice's recommendation. Fits the M11x /like a glove/ and there isn't anything short of an M1 Abrams (ok, maybe a standard sedan) that's going to damage whatever's inside it.

They have "blemished" units for $50 +shipping. Mine had a very few hairline scratches that I had to look for. My M11x lives in it and it slips right into my Timbuk2 messenger bag. Should fit in most backpacks as well. I can't say enough good things about it. It also does double duty as a passive notebook cooler in that it increases the gap below the fan enough to where I drop a few degrees C.

The only slight negative is that it adds a bit to the weight you're going to tote around. I sometimes use it by itself (sans mess. bag) with one of my Timbuk2 shoulder straps, which is almost exactly what Redtech carries for these cases at $15. Coupled with a pouch for the AC adapter that mounts on the shoulder strap and I'm traveling about as light as I would be were I toting around all of the crap in my messenger bag.

Anyway, PM me if you need more details.

Just ordered up one of those Mac Truck cases with the STM shoulder strap. For the price it looks like a great deal. It also helped that I saw a valid 20% coupon code through a quick google search.

I've bought alot of cases/bags so far for the M11x and the 2 purchases I am most happy with so far are the large Case Logic E-Sling and the Sumo 12" case.

When I need to carry around alot of stuff, the Sumo 12" case fits the M11x almost perfectly. The laptop does not slide around inside. And it is super padded and great for throwing into a big backpack.

The large Case Logic E-Sling laptop slot fits the M11x like a glove and the accessory pocket fits a small paper notebook, the power supply, Razor Orochi mouse, and a nylon bag with pens which is perfect for traveling to classes lightly.

Received my Waterfield Designs Vertigo Mambo Combo today and i LOVE it. The design looks great and the quality is excellent.

Its compact, not big and bulky and can hold a nice chunk. I managed to fit my m11x, the power adapter, an external hd, an external dvd burner, an ipad, ipad extended power cable, stylus and phone all with room to spare.

Doesn't your m11x slide in the sleeve a little? I put my friend's incase 13 sleeve on and there was like an inch to spare width wise.

I ordered the Alienware Neoprene sleeve with it as well...I like having a first party bag...there is another Alienware sleeve that fits the 11x, but the reveiws said you cant even fit the power cable with it, with the Neoprene one you can.
