Dayum, nice. I might just buy an HDMI cable and try to hook my m15x up to the 36" 720P TV. Gonna see how gaming looks on that. XP

Stock the heatsink dusnt make proper contact with the gpu ... But now... My fans don't even kick in when playing MoH LE !! Like avrg temp is 58-63 while gaming... Max I saw was 66...!! Anyways it's awesome :)

I have it, I like it so far, I would say it's worth the $13.60. Just be ready as this is the only game I have that beats the heck out of my GPU especially in DX11.

I personally don't play it frequently, it's not quite as addicting to me as games like FONV, FO3, SC2, etc but for $13 it's well worth it. Especially because it doesn't require an internet connection, steam, etc like 90% of the new games do.

No kidding, the servers in MW2 are a joke, that and an effective way at booting/banning the MODDING pansies, play the game straight up or get out. Maybe a dedicated server for modders, and ones that don't allow mods to keep everyone happy. I haven't played MW2 in a while because of the modders and servers.

totally agree on the dedicated server, i´ve been playing online the mw2 and went back to cod4, the bes in the saga for me
until i played of metro2033, there is more history than shots, i prefer battlefield, cod or moh

Glad that guide comes in handy :). And MoH is what I'm currently playing... Its made by EA, so it actually feels like BFBC ... Just with a different storyline... If you like FPS, I'd buy it :)... Just don't expect anything new.

    hey guys, one question
after 10 months of having the m15x, i needed 1 motherboard swap, 2 graphic cards, 2 lcd panels, 1 keyboard, 1 cover panel and 1 dvd
know i realise that a part of the keyboard and the touch buttons are working bad, when i select the green color it swaps to blue by a 1/10 part of second, and the same with other color, and when i change to battery mode the most part of the times the alienhead dont change the color.
the magnesium body has a little scratches on the corners, and when i have contact with the skin it gives me a little electric discharges, plus the lid has some scratches the tech service made to it when repairing, do you think i can ask for a replacement? sorry for my english, im spanish xD

yeah if you had over 3 seperate repairs then you got a good chance of getting the replacement, if the tech support gaves you a hard time, try asking for a supervisor, that has always worked for me. i got 2 replacements already.

Hmmm I think i might bite the bullet and sell my 5870.

I miss having sound over the DP port. I wanted to play Scott Pilgrim on my 1080 flatscreen and kept forgetting i get no sound T_T

Plus if i buy a 5850 from Dell i can go ahead and sell my GTX 260m...

    What do you guys think?

Sell your Clevo 5870 + GTX 260m = 5850m for free plus cash. Sounds like a good deal to me. Especially since Dell's 5850m will kick your Clevo 5870's :)

    Ouch =/

Good luck, They usually can't connect to my computer because of my router so when it comes around to them handling drivers and stuff they usually just skip it. lol

I only have audio crackling when my PC first starts up on battery. Otherwise it's fine... at least for me =x

I guess i gotta test it out one of these days. One thing i've notice with mine recently is that when i'm using the touchpad and on the battery the right click menu will randomly come up for now reason and stop what ever i'm typing.

This is with touch click off and my touch pad is on the least sensitive setting.

I also need them to replace to replace the rubber pieces in the bottom corners of the computer, I lost both of them :p

the audio crackling issue while listening to headphones is the reason they bumped me up to a M17x ... so keep that in mind, when they give you solutions that won't solve it.

I didn't have a chance to read through this but is there now a solution to the horrible crackling audio of my M15x?? I ordered mine shortly after release and I have never really found a solution for this. Also my third headphone jack hasn't worked for probably 6 months. I notice almost everyone here is using the 5850 now? I would love to convince dell they need to "downgrade" my 5850 for me because of the throttling ;)

Not sure if any of this has happened to you guys...

But if you ever get a replacement system make sure to take a look at the system information linked to the new service tag. I just found out that the service tag on my replacement has completely different parts and a few months left on its warranty after i paid for 4 years.

So i guess what i'm trying to say is make sure your replacements are covered in full.

Just hoping this might help someone out before they realize that Dell gave them the shaft.

That's because your warranty has not transferred to your replacement. When they receive your defective machine, then they will transfer your warranty onto your replacement. That's how it works.

I received my replacement in July. Nothing has been transferred to the new Service tag since.

I also haven't been charged for not turning in the defective one so i'm pretty sure them not receiving it is not the case.

So I am about to come into possession of the fabled DaneGRClose M15x. I'm looking for some bag suggestions for it. Would prefer a messenger style but not opposed to backpacks. I searched the forums and honestly the threads on this topic aren't very helpful. So any suggestions would be appreciated.
