check out the M15x 5850 thread, i think a member named hitokiri1 is doing something similar so maybe ask him for advice, but be prepared to wait awhile for the cards to get in stock.

Any help? -

@Inap: Nah, I like Samsung but I dont like their monitors style... So I won't mind, a good brand you know!
I like extra bright screens! So 300cd/m2 is a minimum... and a HDMI port is a major plus, if I wish to use two screens at once!
@Harry; Man I wish, it's cold here in Quebec, I want to see the warm sun and some beautiful beach.. -
lol inap great pic will try for 13.5k is my next goal but idk if im going to have to flash the gpu to 1 volt yet but so far so good
-
-
your too cool harry and yes i'm a fan.
-
No prob, mate. It's highly illegal here, but dirt cheap!
-
hey soccer found a few nice monitors:

Any of you guys have tried the windows 7 migration tool over a wifi network? I'm trying to migrate my old files from old M15x to the new one (that they sent for replacement)
-
sorry haven't tried it yet
-
Stick to the classic external HDD way
IF you want to do it wireless, it's gonna take hours! -
yeah I know... but I don't have an eSATA HDD. Only got USB and Firewire 400. Speeds on both are about the same. Thought I'd try the wireless option first. else I'll just ask dell to send me a USB transfer cable

EDIT: Check this one http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824009206CVF -
did you check out that link i posted earlier had a few nice ones in there, but the asus seems nice and the reviews seems good and it CHEAP!!! great find
-
Because two screens look , and they will be bigger and cheaper than the Acer you linked!
I wont be able to use eyefinity anyway since I have the 260M, but the screens should be working fine anyway, one through VGA and the other through a HDMI to DVI cable! -
the link should show you multiple monitor type. maybe wrong link. sorry
-
new score 13329
oced 680/1175/1700
-
Hmm nop Inap, I didnt see that.. Going back O_O
EDIT:
Gotcha!
Great prices, only thing is; I'm from canada, most of these price won't be available here methinks.. -

Your GTX260m can support 3d.. you can also go for a 3d monitor something like this Alienware OptX? AW2310 23" 3D Full HD Widescreen Monitor Product Details
But you can get cheaper ones from acer Amazon.com: Acer GD235HZbid Widescreen 23.6" 3D LCD Display: Computer & Accessories
and ya the asus has good reviews... You can only run 2 monitors without your Laptop display... Because GTX260m can display 2 screens any combination (2 monitors or 1 monitor and laptop screen).. may be you already knew this... but still givin the info... -
I dont really plan on doing 3d gaming, its freaking expensive...

that site is for coupon codes so you actually order from somewhere else.

wow this thread moving quickly today, so glad almost everyone is here. just need jstar and the family is complete, hahah
where you at my brother from another mother. -
Damn! A couple of bowls of chili con carne and I've missed like 3 pages of posts!
-
Well to watch 3d movies I'd need a 3d capable blu-ray player, which I dont have
I read multiples reviews on the Asus, seems pretty good, few bad review saying the red and green are bad, but most of the people seemed to like it a lot! So I might as well do that.
Oh and the SSD is awesome, I was shocked by how fast it was at first, but now that I'm used to it I miss the "first days" feeling
I can boot my whole system is about 15 seconds! -
