I'm totally satisfied with the performance of my M17 and the 3870's.

I'd like a M17X for everything else it's got going for it.

 

I bought the M17x for looks just as much as for performance

What about security on this baby? I see there is no longer a fingerprint scanner, which I have been a fan of. Is there facial recognition software?

IIRC, yes there is facial recognition.

 

Looks like AW tech reps (reliable sources) at E3 has confirmed that this notebook will also support Crossfire 4870's.

It will be a while for them to fix the kinks, but they say its compatible.

Personally I think the black/silver look a lot better then if there was a red just for the fact they are more neutral colors and match up with any possible color scheme you choose with alienfx
