    hey clinkclank,

    i emailed his gmail account about 2 days ago and still havent gotten word back, could you PM me his work information...


    I tried calling Dell yesterday and after an hour on the phone the rep's supervisor basically gave me a speech about while comparing the HP DV7tQE o an alienware (with the exact same specs...) is like comparing a horse to a donkey....and was very condescending. ..they wouldnt budge on price at all...quoted me as 3,000. HPs setup was 2000 even.

    i have dealt with a few like that. Emailed sent and working on some ideas. Looking at a desktop and am hopeful i will be sending them a check. I hope he gets a commission! good service is hard to find and i dont think mailing him a case of beer is wise. (it would just get warm.. yecch!)

    nactownag is definitely the man to go through. A++ for his services. I told him right off the bat that I was not going to order just as of yet as I'm trying to see/compare my options and still he was on the phone with me for 15 minutes explaining under my given conditions what specs I should get. Sad that he'll be leaving dell but if given the opportunity again, he should be the one you should call.

    I sent him an email at his gmail account last week, and sent him an email to his dell account on Saturday and no word from him. so no clue if he is accepting emails or if he is just getting a lot of requests and hasnt gotten to me yet.

    Wow. Just placed an order through nactownag and he got me everything I wanted and more for $2259 which is actually 2 Dollars cheaper than the system I initially ordered that didn't include a 1080p screen, 6990M video card, and 2 years Accidental Damage coverage.

    He said the deal I got ends in 4 days, so e-mail him QUICK(I recommend his Dell account, it's what I did).

    Alright, doing this before taxes.

    The deal he got me, was $2072. Doing the set up of what he got me(if I'm correct) the total of the system sans any deals whatsoever was $2987 so saving me close to 30%(unless I suck at math. Don't dismiss this possibility).

    actually, now that I think about it, the advanced warranty for 2 years costs 300 bucks. So technically, you didn't get any hardware for free, but a warranty. It's still good though.

    Any hardware for free compared to what?

    Compared to what I originally ordered, I'm getting a better video card and a better screen for free.

    Compared to the best deal I can get through Dell.com, I'm getting $300 worth of hardware for free.
    Compared to the "no deal" laptop I'm getting close to $600 worth of hardware for free.

    I purchased the Alienware notebook found in my signature 2 hours ago...thanks to Jason, i received 30% off. Original price was 3600ish. Pre tax. after discount price was 2300ish. Pre Tax. saved an additional $50 on the tax difference. :) :) :)
