Only having three fans gives them an excuse not to put in dual 485's--which they'd better do. Pretty stoked to hear what it's like. I hope it blows HP outa the water.
-
I just hope they announce all the models, and the M11x R3 is out by the end of April. I want one bad. 3DMark06 estimations?
-
-
Have you seen this?
-
HP? HP doesn't even have a system that comes remotely close to the old pre-Dell Alienware's let alone the M18x. HP is a joke. They don't need 4 fans to cool 485Ms, you guys should spend some time on learning how these systems are designed. -
Also look closely here. At the bottom right side where it says 330 something...I can't quite make it out
330W AC adapter...there we go -
Hah, vzchari, post a link to the M14x config page.
-
-
Here is the link
I have leaked about 2/3 of the info on the M11xR3, M14X and M18x and I haven't gotten a single rep point yet. Only 5150Joker likes me -
It not should be i5????? -
-
How might I get to it. I just want a peek.
-
Seriously...why hold out on the link??
-
-
I found it. Easy peasy.
If its 1140 pounds with an i7 2630QM and 1600x900, with 4GB RAM and 500GB HDD, It should be about a grand like that here. As soon as its up US, I'm ordering.
-
Ive been reading these pages for days religiously and have not said a word lol
I am so torn between the M11x R3 and the M14x, I just wish I can actually hold both in my hand and then choose.
I think im going to do a quick autocad drawing so I can see the difference of them side by side. lol -
-
-
Wow, The stock ram of the m14x is at 1600Mhz.
-
-
The Dell Online Store: Build Your System
I added in bluetooth and 1600x900, all else stock, and its 1168 pounds. -
-
Anyone have the link for the M18X?
-
Actually, thats like, $1900. Hmm...
-
I want the link of the m11xR3 on that Dell site please *0*
-
This config costs £1,488.99...

That is awesome... -
Dang that's expensive if you convert the prices. $1900 USD with 1600x900 screen and everything else stock.
I hope that British price is inflated. xD -

Actually, £1,488.99 is 2,430 US Dollars. Am I Wrong???
and that is not stocked... -
-
But if you lack a decent desktop then get m14x R3, it's still light and portable but game much better than m11x R3 -
-
-
1100 dollars in USA for a m14x with i5, 1366x768, 2gb of ram and 320 of HDD would be a really good starting point...
-
I have just noticed that 1080p screen is the main screen, no extra to upgrade to 1080p screen like the m17x r3 that's a nice price imo
-
Looks like the m14x is off my list.
If the m17x r3 gets 5 hours of light use on a 90-Wh battery and the m14x uses a ~60-Wh battery..... Can we assume it will get a 1/3 of the battery life?(Both would have the same processor.) -
M17X R3 cost £1499 in UK when it's $1500 only in the USA (both with same config)
M18X Will be 1799$ Basic config if it were my guess (Still a nice deal, Since you get 1080p LCD without paying for the upgrade to 1080p) -
M11x r2 costs £1,043.99...
1500 dollars in USA for that m14x config would be really nice... -
What exactly is TrueLife on the display?
"LCD 14.1in Widescreen High Definition + (1600x900) WLED with TrueLife"
Is this the same quality that the M17xR3 gets for the monitor? Both are WLED, but one has TrueLife. -
Speedy Gonzalez Xtreme Notebook Speeder!
Don't get me wrong guys but the M14X don't need more CPU than the 2630 and the upgraded screen if that config cost $1100 on USA i may consider ordering one
-
-
-
Speedy Gonzalez Xtreme Notebook Speeder!
just get a bluray player you can save some money for an SSD -
Idk. I'm still leaning towrds M11x R3, or just buying an R2 used.
-
TheSpaceHamster Notebook Consultant
Might be time to sell my M11xR2 and older G51Vx...ah...the memories.
Eyes on the prize boys! M14 forever! -
Hey spacehamster, if you do, contact me. I'd be very interested if it hits 166MHz OC stable. Lunar Silver all the way! Back to speculation, I'm turned off by the fact the R3 wont be OC'able, since SB dosen't.
-
Select: WIRELESS CONNECTIVITY
European Dell Wireless 1000 [Included in Price]
European Wireless 6205 [add £20.00 or £1/month1]
is the difference? worth buying the model 6205? -
Will the M14x support XMP RAM?
Should I get RAM with XMP support?
Will these with the heat spacers work?
