See now I want to work with you on creating a really cool logo with the same layout even just for fun, I'm pretty good on photoshop

 

I'm Ok with photoshop, but thought the messed up job that MS Paint does on jpeg files makes it even more... hmm.... noobish

 

I think it's awesome, I love the script style writing too.... maybe it just flies over my head but what does Eleven-1 mean?

hmm if they did an m15x refresh its probably going to have the GTX260 and the 4870 as graphics cards choices. Unless they can make a cooling system that can take on the 280GTX's 75 watt consumption.

the m15x would have a very hard time cooling a 4870 ddr5 it will run hotter then a 260 easy ...a 9800m gt runs hot in the one now

a 260 run a little bit cooler though but stilll... i just dont see it
im just being realistic but i could be wrong

 

doesnt the 4870 have a power consumption of 65 watts? same as the 9800M GT i believe.

dual 4870's in m17 are runnign to hot right now

 

oh ya hmm. maybe its to hot because its 2 cards in XFire? The combined heat is a lot. huh I guess we will have to wait and see. But for sure the 260GTX will be there if a m15x refresh is coming.

So the suspense is basicly over? its just the one m17x ish laptop. Or will it be more considering it was advertised as desktops/notebooks? Did i miss something

Well i was about to get a m17x from a seller...now..wait for the new one or just go ahead with the other m17x for 2k with sick specs.

m17x now with 9800 GT SLI with X9000 processor 320gig hard drive blu ray vs new m17x at base price.....old m17x wins? or you think base price one will be decent

I would wait if I were you. Not only does it give you time to see what they officially release but the older models will become more available on eBay at cheaper prices.

There better be skullcap, I dont see the point in not having skullcap, its the traditional alienware look, and all the laptops before had it, well with the except of the m17x, but they better fix that mistake and put it in this time, because there is no point in not having it as an option.

and this refresh offer quads and proably 280's in SLI ... it will make it the fastest laptop out ... how is that not exciteing

Well I hacked into the mainframe. This is a pic from the all new quicksilver. No other info was found.

 

Looks like the m9750 is out. Just checked Alienware's website and it's not longer there.

 

They are freeing up space to place their new allpowerful laptop

If their media campaign is any indication, the new offerings will be on a lot of peoples "must have" lists.

 

Any notebook AW releases is going to have the hardware so if I can price one under $4000 and the chassis is 2" thick or less I'll probably buy one.

I'd really like to see a T9900 3.06Ghz offered since it's AW and I'd like to save the $300 over the X9100 I couldnt make full use of.
