Shadow Warrior has some of the nicest gib engines I've seen since L4D2. Yes I'm a massive fan of bodies gibbing up properly with the appropriate weapons :D

I love the intro to that game. An old friend of mine created that intro, menu, logos and user interface for that game as well as Guitar Hero and Rock Band. Pretty cool to see his talent getting put to use on a large scale these days.

Alright just decided to try out Shadowplay, started light with some Borderlands 2.

I'm really pleased with the results(before Youtube kills the quality of course)

Enjoy me trying to blow up some bugs heh.

And I just made a quicky with BF 4. Did notice a slight frame drop from normal, but still totally playable!

And yes, I do know that I'm terrible

Here is a video I did of my new favorite game, Payday 2.
Man this game is addictive and bad a$$.
Shadow play works wonderfully capturing at 60fps 1080p without interrupting gameplay. I just wish youtube wouldn't ruin it on the upload

Having fun with shadowplay. If you like car sims, this is fantastic game - its worth it just to drive the F40. Beautiful driving engine - shame you can't see it running at 60fps.. can't have it all I guess

Man, I was rooting for you there. You were all over Jason's tail there for a bit. :p

Has anyone here had a look at Asseto Corsa? That racing sim has caught my eye, but I'm skeptical of most things that are early access.

Haha cheers, yeah I almost had that slippery sucka. I've got Asseto Corsa and it's quite similar actually. It doesn't feel like a complete game though. However if you like sim's you may not mind. I'll upload a video when I can so you can see. F1 2013 is another good game, extremely good in fact, I play it all the time but 0 sideways action as you'd imagine. I wish PC had a Forza/Forza-like game. I'm hoping project cars might fill that void.

I'm looking to fill that same void. I loved Forza 2 and 3. I have 4 but didn't get a chance to play it all that much. I did like the Top Gear content. The chance of me getting an Xbox One is next to nil, and Forza 5 seems like a real disappointment to me. The game doesn't look nearly as good as what was showed off, and it has been stripped of everything that made Forza special to me. Where's the auction house and car trading? :( That, and it's riddled with micro transactions. I was thinking about getting F1 2013 as well, it looks fun. I've just been trying to find that one racing game for PC that I just have to have. I haven't quite found it yet.

That, and a Rollercoaster Tycoon reboot would be great. ;)

Exactly the same sentiments here. I had Forza 1-3 and played them to death. PC hasn't had that killer Driving game yet. Most of them are the arcade style junk food games. Yep and sure as heck not getting a dirty XBox1 either.

Asetto Corsa has been causing me grief getting a video done with Shadowplay.
I thought I'd post you up a F1 2013 gameplay vid instead. Great game

I'm really impressed how little recourses Shadowplay uses to record at 1080p 60fps. It's really awesome, I leave it almost always on. I just wish we could upload video's at 60fps.

Did a Crysis 3 video. Pretty amazing Shadowplay has such a small overhead I could capture this at 1080p 60fps and still play above 60fps on very high settings.

Another Skyrim video - this time very heavily modded (around 40) including the amazing Bigger Tree's (resource hog), Flora and even more extra lighting mods again (removed all fake/baked lighting for the real stuff). Full list of mods are in the description. Forgive me for posting another Skyrim video, I just find it amazing how much better the game ends up looking when I stumble across new mods.

That looks really fantastic. I've never tried any ENB mods. I started to a few times and the instructions looked pretty involved so I just moved on. Is it really a pain in the bottom or simple? I rarely play Skyrim, so it would need to be really quick and easy for me to entertain the idea of bothering with it.

Speaking of Skyrim, have you found any tweak/fix so you can disable v-sync without all of the bouncing and jerking people and animals? I don't like v-sync, but Skyrim seems to be nearly unplayable with SLI and CrossFire unless v-sync is enabled.

Glad you liked it. Installing the EBN is very straightforward, especially for a seasoned tweaker like yourself. Simply dump a few files into a folder and change a couple of values in an .ini config. There are a lot of ENB variations out there which is time consuming if you want to try them all but I use 'Sharpshooter' since it's always worked and looks great. All the other mods, texture packs etc are basically toggled on/off from NMM (Nexus Mod Manager) Launcher which makes life really easy if something ends up looking like a$s.
All these mods definitely put our systems to the test, more so than Crysis 3. If you want I'd be happy to get some links together for you so you can work your magic... :D

Not sure about the vSync issue. I'll try it out when I get back home.

Finished Battlefield 4 single-player campaign a few days ago. Fun game and must-have for FPS fans like myself. However, the buggy coding and pointless use of profanity keep it from qualifying as excellent. I haven't had to tweak and fix problems on any game to the extent this title required in a long time. This should have been priced at $20 or less as a work in progress. Here is a video of the final chapter. HD processing is pending at time of posting, but will be available in 1080p.

I really want that game... Titanfall looks awesome. As usual, I'll wait for it to hit $20-$25 on a killer sale before I'll bite. Regular retail prices for games are such a huge rip-off, especially when so many of them run like crap when they are released. Paying $59.99 for a pre-order on a product that we don't even know with certainty will work correctly, and probably will not on launch day, is just nuts. It sure does suck having to use Origin, Steam and Uplay... would be so much better if everything was available on Steam.

you think you got it bad: in australia they're AUD$70+...heck even the terrible COD: Ghosts is $90USD on the steam store....and yes I am being serious.

anyway, if there's anyone playing the titanfall beta please post vids (and whether it is a single 780m or r9 m290x - i really don't care for sli).

LOL, nope... ain't got it bad because I refuse to pay those idiotic prices... $60 for a game is rip-off and it's not worth it in US or AUS dollars. That's why I typically wait for prices to fall to $20-$25 or less, or just do without.

Has anyone actually received Titanfall beta yet? I did not know they had released beta already.

that's the thing: would you pay $60 for a game with a decent SP and MP? or pay $60 for either component?

but I digress. If there's anyone playing the titanfall beta - post your vids with the fps counter :D

Here is Titanfall on 780M SLI. Running with it all maxed out and its smooth as butter :)

EDIT: Was recorded in 1080p, but I guess youtube hasnt encoded it once more into 1080p yet..
Unfortionately no FPS counter on. I think it runs in 64 bit and then my fps counter wont work.(Dont know if Titanfall has a fps counter in game already though)

That video was recorded using Shadowplay. Its not really supported on mobile GPUs, you have to make a certain trick(Start the nvidia Geoforce experience with -shadowplay in command line). After that it works just fine.

Get RivaTuner Statistic Server 6.0.0.6228 and it will output for 64-bit now. The easiest way to get it is by downloading MSI Afterburner 3.0.0.2269. I use EVGA Precision X, but I got it through Afterburner because I could not find a stand-alone download.

    Sweet video, too.

This one is also, Brother Throbin.

MP only is very disappointing for my desires, but it does look as cool as I figured. Thanks for sharing.

Great Titanfall videos. I've been looking forward to this one for quite awhile. I'm also fine with it being multiplayer only. If that is the game they intended on making, I prefer it over wasting resources on a single player campaign.

If you registered for the BETA before 4pm, Feb 15 PST you should get in. According to Respawn, it should be added to your library in the coming hours (if not already). The BETA also went open on Xbox One.

I did register before then, but it's not yet in my library.

If it is exclusively online multi-player, then I might not buy it even though it looks great. Personally, I like single-player campaign better. I don't own any games that are online multi-player only.

Hey brother Fox, nobody does (own that is) and it's the main reason why I don't like it. When they shut down the servers (as EA loves to do), then what is it good for. They'll just want you to buy Titanfall 2 and say tuff tiddlywinks to Titanfall. Assuming it catches on, it's going to be another Battlefield or CoD with yearly releases, but now they just cut SP out all together where as SP on the others have just been getting shorter. This is not the "mech" I was looking for (in my best Obi-wan voice ;)). EA makes being a cynical gamer too easy, I'm not getting burned by them a third time.

Enjoy the game brothers and sisters!

i'm really looking forward to this even though i have sold my current PC (because I am moving overseas) and am currently on a crappy ASUS notebook, an alienware would really do the trick for me on this :D

Thank you Mr. Fox, that worked wonders!

    As can be seen here:

Its wierd but it doesnt seem to be using both GPUs, its constantly using about 97% of the first GPU, but the second GPU stays at 5%.

That is one of the reason I don't like many "online only" games... they tend to cut corners on providing support for multi-GPU, so SLI and CF only use the primary GPU. Unless they fixed it since I stopped playing it (quite some time ago) MechWarrior Online never got this right. And, for the reasons Brother Quagmire LXIX stated are also a major turn-off. If they don't have excellent server support and lots of participation, the online-only game experience will end up being poor. Then there are the hacks, cheats and potty-mouthed little boys that further taint the online experience.

Check NVIDIA Control Panel as see if your system has a profile for Titanfall. If it does not, create one and test "Force alternate frame rendering 1" and "Force alternate frame rendering 2" instead of "NVIDIA recommended" as the SLI Rendering Mode and there is a chance that one or the other will resolve the problem for you. Also be sure NVCP is using advanced 3D image settings (not "Let the 3D application decide" option) and be sure every available option is set to "prefer maximum performance" use the "single display performance mode" and no "adaptive" or "prefer high quality" options and these will help force high GPU utilization.

Another tip, turn off all of the monitoring sensors in MSI Afterburner or EVGA Precision X. Use the RTSS tab in HWiNFO64 to choose the data output for CPU and GPU and it will look a lot cleaner. You can choose the row, column and (if you want one) row labels.

In this example, I am using the new version of RivaTuner Statistics Server with all on-screen output coming from HWiNFO64.
