Nope, only 700. Just PM a mod and ask them to upgrade your account to a Senior Member account :) then you can edit it..along with a couple other benefits.

I'm not gonna be able to edit the driver right this second.. I gotta get some stuff handled and may have to go into work. But by this afternoon/evening I'll have more time to get back on.

Well, I can switch between different resolutions but I'll get black borders around game window... The smaller resolution, the bigger borders.

Yeah isn't it weird when I run a game in full window using for example 1680x1050 resolution, the game view only goes smaller and the black borders appear? Like I'm in game with 1920x1200 resolution but the game is smaller. I don't know if I know how to explain it.

I've never had this kind of problem.

Are the black bars all around or only on top and botom?

Or aren't there black bars @ all?

Ok this shows me YOU HAVE the scaling problem^^

I hope I explain it right ... but you see what you selected^^

You said you are running it on 1680x1050, so you see 1680x1050 pixsels ...

Here you can see what the problem is:
You have selected "CENTERED" ... and now try to select Preserve Aspect Ratio (when 1680x1050 is 16:9 than you will have black bars on tob and botom but not a "smaler" pictuer, you will have a bigger picture, full screen but not "streched" (looks horrible^^)

Now to the driverproblem ... when you try to select PAR what happens? For me I get a black screen and than "CENTERED" is selected again :(

    => scaling problem ...

Edit: try the new inf. from E-wrecked! It should fix scaling problems on Vista (I have W7 ... :( )

Nah, I don't get it. I try both Full screen and Preserve Aspect Ratio, but all my games now have black borders when I use smaller than 1920x1200 resolution. I really don't know how to solve the problem.

Well I made clean install once more just to be sure, but the problem still exists. I used the E's tweaked INF files when installing the drivers like you say Julian, then installed the CCC that came with older driver package.

Am I the only one Vista 64bit user with this problem or are you guys waiting for us to be labrats? :)

Moo never has this problem since he doesnt use a 1920x1200 monitor :)

Dont worry about that its a common issue that we all have. The only successful drivers to solve that at the moment is 8.12, 9.1 (modded by E) and the AW drivers. Not sure if we got 9.12 working (bad memory :p).

Waiting for E to drop the scaling fix lines in the .inf and upload it so we can give it a go ;)

Not sure if scaling issue still happens on external monitors. The external monitor might force your screen to scale either way so thats another subject. But people not having the scaling issue means they dont use the 1920x screen, since as you can see the rest of us do have the problem :)

Except if people believe some of M17's screens are "special" of course :p

I always liked 1680x1050 soooo much :( Even on my old laptop i could resize the desktop resolution to that without losing the quality of the screen. On the M17 resizing the desktop to anything else than the native resolution results in really crappy and blurry images/fonts, sadly :(
