    Well, mine still lists the 19th as my delivery date, been in process since January 16th and then canceled by dell and reordered on the 2nd...so we'll see if they make that date. I have my doubts, but at this point, at least I won't be surprised if they delay it...again.

    Daaaaaaaamn
    just got my third "order delayed action required" email. That 22 date that everybody were hoping is the date.. Not gonna happen, well at least for me. New date is 2/24. Just two more days delay, I think it's good news because they said they are going to get those RGB screens on 22 and ship on 24.

    Ps. All the 2/22 Edd-Expect to be served with the same letter today.

    I've only gotten one and then when I called to check my rep said the order was in "Knitting"... ie building but the parts are being pulled together... no doubt where it's been waiting for the RGB LED screen. I'd love to know which Asian manufacturer is getting all the screens in lieu of Dellienware.

    I need to bug my rep again. I even went to the Team Blackhawk guys. I keep hearing that stuff is on backorder but i'm not getting specifics.

    To pass the time i may have to create an ETA Haiku :p

    meh ive seen videos of it i find the look pretty nice. Cant comment on how sturdy it is but it dosent look cheap plastic aside :D

    I was told yesterday that the parts were in, but I don't trust him. We'll see. I am trying to wrangle a 920 or something out of them now for all my trouble... and I threw out the 5870's as an "I wouldn't mind if..." suggestion.... ya never know ....

    The Asus is 17.3"s yet weighs nearly the same as the M15x.
    Is more powerful and costs less than the M15x.
    Doesn't have a lid that can house a 17" screen with a 2 inch bezel surrounding a 15" screen.

    I can go on.

    At the time, the M15x sitting next to my M17x mad absolutely zero sense to me.

    I didn't like it and that is my personal opinion. I thought, for the weight, that it would be the same as the M17x with aluminum, etc.

    Go back to the original M15x owner lounge and look at the first post. I was excited to no end, but ultimately was a major let down - FOR ME ;)

    The powerful part (which is only the video card and a temporary deal) isn't in question. It's the fact that you love the build quality yet its fully plastic and I remember you complaining about some portions of the M15x being plastic. That's all ;) I do remember you disliking the extra space around the screen and that's the one thing I'd change about the M15x, it really needs a 16" RGB LED like the SXPS 16. BTW the M15x weighs more because it still has a magnesium chasis and lid.
