    If they do get them in a week (which I doubt) they will fit in the X8100, and the other Clevo models that support the card. If they fit in the X8100, they will fit in the M17x.

    Still no word on my R2 ETA. :(

    Dell are actually compensating you for delays, and respect their warranty and stuff.
    I would not consider comparing both companies (though i don't know eurocom from personal experience, just from crylo told)

    i think its most likely since i got delayed from 2/26 to 3/5. but it'll be nice that you get yours in the next week.

    I'm just going to throw this out there and I am not sure if it has any weight at all, but...

    Of the three people I was bugging about my order, I did not ask a single one for anything else except getting that order expedited.

    Probably means nothing and you should all get all the freebies you can, but just thought I would offer the observation.

    Also, I never actually hit a delay period so I did not feel I could ask for anything - I was just pissed that it was going to take 5 weeks from the day I ordered and I raised HELL in the nicest way possible.

    same here, first delay i asked for it to be expedited, and then second they gave me NBD shipping, and then 3rd delay i asked for upgrades and freebies, in which they are still working on and haven't given me a straight answer. but hopefully you get yours soon. i still don't know why you're already in boxing. but goodluck

    speak of the devil, my dell rep just called and still no idea on the compensation, and when i asked him how sure is he about the parts being there and how sure he is that i might get another order delayed status on 3/5 he replied that he is not sure. no one is ever sure. then i told him again that i'd cancel if it got delayed again and he said he will be on top of it in hopes it doesn't have to come to that.

    How do i file a triple b complaint?

    Its been 40 days since i first ordered and i still dont got a aptop. My current EDD is 3/1, it should have shipped today so im probably going to have to wait another week.

    I recieved 0 emails about the delay, only 2 phone calls

    I am on the verge of filing a BBB complaint against Dell. I got the order action required email today. I called the number listed and told them not to cancel, she said ok, but to send an email too. I sent the email and got a reply back saying they had received my response. I then later got a call asking me to confirm identity and hit 1 to continue with the order. I did that and the automated machine told me that the new EDD was 3/5. I just called to check my status and it told me my order was cancelled. I am so ready to rage on Dell right now. THREE times I confirmed not to cancel the order and they did it anyway!! :mad:

    Edit: The real Dell order status 4-2-1-1 says cancelled. The website and 3 option say my EDD is 3/5. Which do I believe?

    I'd call them and ask them what going on with the order. Sadly enough my order won't move from Order received stage for three weeks thanks to a massive Delay on RGB screens. -.- so i won't get mine for a good 2 months

    Its real easy just go to the site enter your zip click on file a complaint. I choose bad advertising since when I orderd the laptop there was no warning or attempt at contacting me about the problems

    Called order status 2 more times to confirm that it was in fact saying order was cancelled. Called Dell EPP support and he told me there was no cancellations and the order was still in the Dell queue. He told me he sent another internal memo to not cancel the order. I said thank you and then checked the order status again. Back to the build stage. Hmmm, this makes me think the order was still slated to be cancelled anyway and he changed something without telling me. Guess I can hold off on the BBB for now :rolleyes:

    This is so weird that they behave differently with different groups. To some they change the date without telling and well before the actual date expires. To others they wait for the last day and only then change it. Some get emails, some don't. And it also seems consistent (like if the "treat" you one way they will keep at that). Isn't the process automated? Weird...

    My order is with Dell US too, and I have only once received an email with regards to order delays and that was only the very first one. I think it might be since I have a customer care rep assigned to my case that she just tells me when the order gets delayed. She also submitted the very first order action required email response on my behalf and I never got it, though completely missed this one.

    Mine was just delivered a few hours ago. Reordered on 2/1 and was delayed until today. On a side note my system did come with a raid 0 config, haven't heard of anyone else that ordered raid and actually had them raid it. I also I have a tiny blue stuck pixel in the bottom left corner of my screen but I think I'll live. In order to see it I have to move in within eye burning range ;)

    First off, congrats on your new system. Second.... It came with raid?!?!?! I too thought such a thing was a myth! Check all your settings and hardware. Hopefully the guy who was doing the software installs before got fired and not just moved to another section....

    Watch, someone is is going to pop up who only had one stick of RAM put in there system ;)

    Plus I "may" have this Latency issue with the Audio?

    No latency issues with the M17x-R2 and ATI 4870s. That was the M17x-R1 with nVidia cards and chipset. This is a totally different and much better system that people are ordering here.

    My R2 has zero latency problems. Audio quality through the jacks can have some static now and then but I have never had a perfect notebook audio out. With the system speakers everything is crisp, loud and without any stuttering. The biggest thing holding back the R2 is the power limit, it's largely solved with the new bios but there is still some residual flickering in games like GTA IV once in a while but that's only if the 5% OC in the bios is active with the 920xm. I hope Dell tweaked the final bios release to account for this but knowing their QA, I doubt it. I plan on upgrading to the 5870s which should eliminate any flickering entirely thanks to their lower power consumption. I wish Dell had built this system around a 300W PSU with TDP/TDC limits removed and a massive CPU copper block.

    12:36 and no delay yet! But if i remember i think 2 of the weekends it changed at around 2am so i still got time lol come on dissapointment dont dissapoint me... Yes i just said that! :D

    Well there is a plus side they have gotten better at the teasing it was still a week off when they would push it back this time i made it within 3 days lol :)
