How long were you guys in boxing?

 

around 72 hours

 

when mine shipped, my order page always said N/A for my tracking number...so I ended up pulling up my invoice (which should be available after its shipped), and then pulling the waybill number off of that and tracking it via FedEx's website. So if anyone's status is SHIPPED, but the tracking info isn't there, try going that route.

Now all of you guys who got their systems just shipped need to pray that dead pixels don't show up! BTW some bad news, the Clevo 5870s that are being released do not have a crossfire connector. That means if/when Dell releases crossfire 5870s, we'll have to pay their outrages prices.

Yep, that's what I got a few days ago from Eurocom. They said it's not even in plans yet to get CF'ed, so I guess we'll have to wait. And BTW, is there any reliable info whether or not the 5870s will ever be CF-ready?

LOL, Item of death huh? I just have a standard 7200rpm drive in mine. And I am still not in boxing. I can't believe I ordered in January and still haven't gotten any updates yet. Ugh.

I guess if I am going to get mine by the EDD of 3/8 then I need to go into boxing pretty soon. Is boxing is taking about 3-4 days?

 

On AMD site it says it is crossfire ready. It depends if vendors want it or not. I believe withouth CF is cheaper to make?...maybe?

for good speed get one with over 200MB/s read and write...

I have a 140 read, 100 write in my desktop - it's OK, nothing great...

 

dont do it - they will cancel your existing order and reenter a new one, and then you're back to square ONE

 

I was configuring an M17X R2 minutes ago and I noticed they took out the option for the 2nd hard-drive if you do not configure it in RAID.

Wonder why they would do that.

I'm struggling to get an EDD on mine - it's been 8 days since i ordered and I've heard nothing!

 

ive been waiting for 30 days in build only took a day to get an edd well i guess im still waiting for an edd tho since i keep getting pushed back so technically i still have yet to receive a valid edd so 30 days and counting

 

I'm guessing that's because they have a "real" shortage and don't want to speculate an EDD until they get the parts. Are you at least in production?

 

It took me a month to get my EDD.

 

All this EDD crap is giving me ED
