- Reordering system with a proc upgrade (820) and $100 gc
- I wont return old system for 30 days, till new one is done.
- No more options for primary and slave drives....Had to order 1TB in Raid 0

Canceled (without notice!) once and re-ordered. (got $100 off re-order) I'm optimistic on this 03/19 EDD based on the trend in this room!

 

And here i thought i was the only one to get auto canceled.

 

Afraid not, I think a lot of us got automatically canceled in the begging. I know I was, and I recall reading that others had as well. DVD drive was the first culprit, then it all sorta spiraled out of control at that point

 

I was auto canceled TWICE.. A-holes...

The good news (sorta) is now my wife is dying for the AW to come in as I keep blowing money on my desktop while I wait...



New case came in today - damn those 5870s run hot!

 

So this is kind of strange. I ordered mine on the 14th of February. Being anxious and impatient i called the next week and asked for an expedited order Anyway i got this rep who was gonna be handling my case. She's actually been really good about letting me know whats going on. So at first she emailed me to inform me that my expedite request had been declined. Then i got word that my shipping had been upgraded to overnight or next day to make up for the delay in production. So this brings us to today, I just got a call from her saying that my expedite request had been approved and that my order should ship out any time. She said that it was an absolute certainty that I would recieve my alienware no later then next week. Fantastic news but what gives...anyone else hear anything like this ?

This is going to be a very long couple of weeks. I'm just praying it doesn't get delayed. My poor 5-year old Inspiron just doesn't cut it anymore (actually, hasn't really cut it for the last 2 years).

I sure hope Dell doesn't mind me calling 4-5 times a day to check on the status of my order. Because I'm certainly not going to stop.

@stargazer211 just thought i'd let you know that my ETA's have been the exact same as yours and right now I have an ETA of 3/12 too haha. Have you tried calling them or anything? I think I might give them a ring on monday
