i plan to do the same bluleaf, i already emailed my rep, but he doesn't do much anyways, i wished i could get some real support and someone who is willing to actually talk to me and not read from a script.

Ok so when I log in to dell. & Check mys order status I get N/A for my E.D.D
However if I click on the blue link to my order # it takes me to my order description & than I see a E.D.D of Estimated Delivery Date: 3/25/2010

is this normal? did the rest of you have to do this? I am begining to worry...

 

lol My EDD is N/A in both of those sections, I had to call a rep to find out my EDD.

Well my replacement order was placed on Feb 11th, and the EDD was Feb 12th, obviously some error, my EDD has now been "Temporarily unavailable" since then.

In other news. Looks like I am getting mine on Tuesday. I spoke to dhl and if all goes according to plan - Tuesday it is.

lol I'm with you there. My EDD is still the 10th but given I still show as "In Production" and the EDD didn't change when my shipping method did and given how accurate we know these EDDs are.... /sigh

 

i hope you can all get it by next friday or eariler. But all dell does is give us hope and then crush them with their delay/cancellation notice, it'd be better just to give us a month away ETA rather than having it pushed back time and time again.

yeah, i'm emailing him tomorrow so he can get it while at work. To the led article; some famous architect has also gave us a lecture on the use of led lights as a replacement for the light bulbs. It was actually very interesting and very economical as the led lights only need maintenance every 10 years or so on average, compared to the standard light bulb's every couple of years. And also the led technology use less energy, the light experience (different colors give a different mood to the space, important to architects because it's about how we experience and use the space) and the flexibility it can provide is a significant advantage over standard light bulbs. so i am thinking that we'll probably be hopping on to the led wave in just a couple of years. so if you intend to invest in it, do it soon. ^^ then again, i'm only 22, what do i know. haha

Yes a couple times actually, my EDD is March 11th, so I'm expecting it to ship Monday.

I ordered on 2/23 with an EDD of 3/17. I wonder why yours is a whole week after mine. I probably won't get it till may, but still.

When I called a few days ago the rep told me the system would be delivered by 31st of March!
On the website it is still unavailable - IN PRODUCTION!
Two days ago got a message from another rep the system is gonna ship in 2 weeks.
Today!... Got an email - the system has shipped!
And no freaking tracking number...
The website is still telling me - in production.
The auto-answering machine says - the order was delivered on 7th of December 1999!

Think I'll nail them hard this time. Dell made another mistake (lost the count) and will be paying for it....

My friend just got hs shipping notice today. About midway thru the day there was a tracking number that actually worked. He ordered ground shipping so maybe FedEx doesn't estimate a delivery or maybe it just hasn't posted yet. So far FedEx says they picked it up.

 

What are your system specs? RGB or No RGB? Blu-Ray or no Blu-ray?
ATi Crossfire? all these & other items may affect the Production Time...
unless you speced it out same as me... tahn I am in for a uh- h moment...

 

all i have to say is that waiting that 2 months was worth it. IMO the perfomance outways it.

Thought your EDD was the 31st, and thought Dell doesn't give out shipping notices on the weekend.

This doesn't make much sense, considering my EDD is the 11th, and I have no news of anything, no shipped notice, not even a cancel or delay.

 

For me it I want a system that work not the junk I had to deal with for 3 years.

 

820qm, crossfire 4870's, and rgb screen. Rest is default.

 

Man this is crazy with the delays still, I am amazed at how long it's taking to fill these orders and you guys have pushed it with Dell hard.

The RGB LED is almost certainly the culprit along with the SSD drives based on everything we've heard. The wait sucks but once you have it you will love the system.
