I ordered on 2/13 EDD 3/17, Silver, i7 720, Dual 4870, RGB, blu-ray burner, 250HD 7200rpm's. They don't have a shortage of CPU's so I'm thinking that if anything will hold you guys up, it may be the HD's

lame! I ordered on the 23rd and mine hasn't moved from build Where do you find "build complete"? Phone? or website.

 

I hope not.. Mine just moved to Work in Progress on Saturday after being stuck at Order Received for a whole month

 

There is a stage that says "Manufacturing Build Complete"

I'm in Australia so i'm not sure if the process is different here, but from that stage all that is left is shipping (to country then to local courier then dispatch from local courier)

 

In my experience the local part in Australia takes the longest. Still waiting for mine and its been in the country for nearly a week.

Took me forever to get an EDD and I was scared - Constantly hassling my rep...

But part way through my "in progress" stage I actaully got it on the website. Speak to your rep or a sales person - they usually know more that what the site says.

 

Does anyone know how long it takes for the shippment to get to Canada from the us? So far my tracking says in transit in us oh it shipped on Friday the 12th

 

Dell (schenker) has had my laptop in sydney since the 9th, now they tell me 18th EDD. I HATE DELL.

How to cancel, going to get pioneer computer or apple mac... this is BS

 

It's incredible they've had it so long!... I've dealt with Pioneer before, you don't know "hate" yet.

 

Far out - To be honest i have never had that problem with DELL before (i have had delays but not when it's arrived in Aus).

Usually only takes MAX 3 days... Even when i ordered the R1 a while back it only took that long.

I guess I will find out soon enough anyways!

 

ok better news, called with these options and said it is in boxing and EDD is 16th nbd 17 Original was the 18th so there is hope of no delays

I have a reply from my sales rep with all the usual apologies for delays and inconveniences and about an hour after that my order status has an EDD!!!!!... The only problem with that is, it's dated today, 15th March even though the status of my unit is "Work in Progress"... Looks like they slapped any old date in there in the hopes I'll go away and stop bothering them.

 

I just hope Friday doesn't come without my R2 in my hands :/

 

They just change my EDD to 4/12/2010......... and my order stautus still show "Order Processing"......

 

Don't feel too bad, I've been waiting since 2/19 on my replacement and it's still in the build stage.

 

I ordered 3/1/2010 and my order status changed to 4/24/2010, so you are not alone. Still not in production either

Just called and my ETS is still 3.17

Expecting my delay email any second now since others are being pushed into April

Wow, then i have a long time to wait on my replacement system..I just wish it would show an EDD. It shows unavailable. :-(

 

Ordered 03/01/10. Starting week 3. Gonna try to get a status update this afternoon. Website just says "in production". EDD of 03/30/10 (as soon as I placed the order!)

 

Mine shipped March 9/10 from the factory, said it was on the truck for delivery should get it today or tomorrow. It took from the 9th to 12th to get it into Canada.

You should get yours this week depending which city you are in.

When did yours ship? When it is in transit in the US you can't get any other update until it gets into Canada, once mine came into Canada it went to Calgary and will then get shipped to Sask. if you know where that is

 

um MARCH 12, 2010 AT 13:07 so it should come into canada today i hope and haha yeah i know where that is

Well, I've been checking every day (truthfully, mulitiple times a day) sseing as how my current laptop's hinge has almost completely failed and one of the fans has failed as well. Still EDD of 4/1/10 but nmy last m17x came a week early so I'm hoping this one will too (I don't evebn want to think about if being delayed or canceled).

Also, apparently whatever glitch I had that allowed me to combine certain coupons together has been fixed so I probably will be sticking with this one baring something catastrophic (or the codes working together again).

 

Well, I didn't go into boxing stage.... Yet. It doesn't look like I'm going to hit my 03/19 EDD. :-(

Yeah I have an EDD of 3-17 (ship date 3-16) and I have yet to leave the build stage. Just got off the phone with them and the guy said he doesn't see anything holding up the order, and that he will expidite it(lol ok) so I was polite and hung up hoping for the best.

Guess we will see. If it does happen to be pushed back I might fight for a bag, since I haven't got one yet. Who knows.

 

yeah they said they did friday and they also said they would send me the tracking info but still no update to anyof that i emailed the corprate person im in contact with but she likes to wait till 4-5pm central to get back with me ugh
