    sorry to tell you this but it most probably will not ship today.
    It takes them 3 days to box. So you're gonna get your order delayed action required email and make sure you call or see delta45 as reference :)

    my order number on the status page isn't a link...

    i've still not received anything to indicate a delay....

    EDIT: ok just called, the wench on the phone says boxing still, but my ship date didn't come up, it just said "that's all the information I have at this time"

    me gets the feeling i'm in for a frustrating week

    dont worry neutron, my lappy shipped on the third day of boxing, after i got another delay action email, but then i called the manager rep and she said that it was a mistake and they already shipped it.

    guys, really. Boxing is in 99% percent of the cases i saw takes extactly 3 days (weekends too) and on the third day your laptop will be shipped. Those order delayed emails are automatic. Just count 4 days from the first day it entered boxing - that's the day you're getting it ;)

    she just called 'with good news, we were able to rush your parts and your order should ship in 2 or 3 days'

    Of course that was met with my response of "it is supposed to arrive to me in 2 days"

    she said she will go check, translation - do nothing, and get back to me

    i've waited 60days already.. what's 5 more

    yeah, the lid gets softer but the first couple of times it snapped pretty hard.
    Also, there are those two little rubber thingies that are supposed to support the screen when the lid is closed - what's annoying me about them is that they leave traces on the screen.

    but the card in subject there is from Asus machine, it's proprietary asus format.
    AW cards will be standard MXM 3.0b slot and are supposed to fit.. guess time will tell.

    Uhh because it came out of a G73 and Asus never conforms to MXM 3.0b standards. Furthermore, the reference 5870s fit just fine in the Clevo's which did not need a change and they're all MXM 3.0b compliant. Do some thorough fact checking before posting things as such, it will just serve to confuse you and others. IF an M17x revision happens, it will be the possible addition of a USB 3.0 controller.

    so now that i got the peices and parts added some virus protection this thing is pretty sweet very very solid build it will take me a sec to get used to the keyboard but this is a good temp system while i wait for the im sorry we gave you hell replacement :D device manager shows everything working no dead pixels and all so even tho the system was packaged like it was i can see no damage :eek:

    Actually all the screen options are gone only WideXGA+ is available. I'm not surprised about the loss of the RGB since everyone was ordering it but the loss of both options is surprising.
