Mine Arrived in AUSTRALIA! WAHOO!!

I have NBD delivery (or so I was told) so HOPEFULLY I may get it tomorrow?

 

Don't set yourself up for disappointed like that lol you know it takes a full 3 days in boxing before it ships.

 

So, I've been reading all the horror stories... I'm praying these are the exceptions to the rule but... I was told by my service rep my M17x would be shipping tomorrow. Sad to say both the telephone service and online service tell me I'm still in production. I'll check back tomorrow. I was told last week that's when they would ship...

I find that DELL Australia updates their tracking later in the day so you may still find movement!

Just came home from school, and it has actually shipped! Went into production 03/16/2010, and sent 03/18/2010.. new record? Ordered 03/01/2010 though.

I guess the rgb led is the root to all problems. I couldn't order with that in Norway, and since this is a replacement, I couldn't wait for it to become available either

 

CCFL is the reason you got it so fast

Problem is that unless that dell agent rerouted my package to my current address, it's heading to my parents place so they'll have to reship it to me here.

 

Mine was also delayed until the 23rd and I just got the shipping confirmation e-mail.

i havent received an email that it shipped but the website us updated with the fedex tracking #

 

I guess I'm encouraged to see the RGB is back up on the site. I was hoping I'd ship today but I guess I'm officially in purgatory. I'm still in production. Has anyone seen people skip the boxing stage entirely? I'm thinking about calling them since I was told it would ship today. At what point does dell start to sweeten the deal? Just the anxiety that I could be waiting as long as some of the other posters here is driving me crazy!

 

I haven't seen any ship without boxing yet....??? You can ask for a better price based on delay's after they actually occur. So if your edd is 3/24 you can start to harass them on the 23 if it hasn't shipped.

 

Hey Mr. Neutron, once it's shipped you should be able to look at your invoice online...on that invoice you should see a waybill number that you can put into the fedex online tracking database to get your delivery information and ETA. The website never updated my shipping information correctly, kept saying N/A, so I tracked it via the waybill number. Might want to give it a shot. Good luck!

I wish I could change out my 920xm for an i820qm and still keep my warranty + cash difference. Hmm anyone have an i820 system with 0 defects and 3 yrs warranty? Swap + cash and I may do it.

You definitely have a unique case. Did they bother shipping an AC adapter with the notebook? I ask because the pic you posted only had the notebook.

It made it to the Boston FedEx sort so it will make it today... signature required?! Looks like i'm "working from home" today

bah.. too bad they didn't ship it UPS, my UPS dude would just call my cell and tell me where he's going to leave it
