PhysX must not be enabled or so it seems because your CPU score is low?

i think you can break 12,000 on the gpu if you are stock. mines stock was 4,300 and overclocked the highest i got so far is 5,500. anothergeek's highest is 6,100 overvolted and overclocked. (280m single.)

When using the default Dell drivers it doesn't even give you the option to disable Physx.

Raising the proc to 11.5x1166 didn't change the results.

Edit: for the first time I can actually feel heat from my system.

no that's the first farcry. and nice what did you do in order to get it to boot @3.46.

the whitebook can do 3.57 before crashing

they did this by putting the multipler to 12x(3.33ghz) and use setfsb to raise it up to 3.57.

Do you have a link to FC2 benchmark or would I need the game?

I already forgot what I set it to. I'll need to reboot.

    So here's DMC4 w/8xAA @3.47Ghz.

Can you give us more information on how you got the M17X stable at 3.46ghz?

It would be helpful to have FSB, multiplier and other information so we can try also.

    Thanks

can you run prime for 5 mins and see if you pass. if you do raise your fsb alittle more. and test. I am on my phone so I can see small pictures but it's ok. i'll wait when I get home.

but run 3dmark06 and lets see how much the cpu has changed. right now I am at 2989 on my [email protected] with the cpu test.

mandrake, could you not get dox's drivers 185.86 installed either? when i messed with it screen was all weired when using the discrete gpu's. would disabling the integrated help with that as it did for you with your current dox's drivers.

I haven't tried it yet because I've been very happy with the 182.46 drivers. The 182.46 drivers specifically said they would not work in a hybrid system so it needed to be shut down. I'll look into the 185.86 drivers.

Since we can get QX9300 overclock about 20%, I would expect to see around 3.6GHZ from the X9100.

if you we're to over clock the gpu and run veryhigh...you would gain roughly 4 to 6 fps. and that's being very realistic. you would gain more running high...
so im thinking with everything maxed out and right drivers...you could pull off a 34 fps avg. realistically speaking

    oh yes...there is a difference...look at scene 2 and 4.

now run it with 8xaa while you have things set decent.

wonder how these scores would stack up using a qx9300 over clocked to that high....

Edit: Right now I'm trying to see if I can run 3dmark06 stable at 3.46Ghz. I have my doubts but it's half way done.

I'm very interested to see what kind of performance gain you'll get through overclocking, as my system is fairly similar to yours. Lets see what that QX9300 can really do. :p
