No AA, high on all settings and 1920x1080 res.
Currently running 3dmark at 3.5Ghz. Trying to see if it will be stable. Kept crashing at 3.6.
-
-
Edit: Right now I'm trying to run 3dmark @ 3.55Ghz.
Edit2: Not working. Need to bring it down a little. Trying 3.52Ghz.
Edit3: @3.50
Which one of these numbers doesn't belong. lol. There was a 6 minute delay in one of the loops.

also 3dmark06
just the cpu score is important
vantage with physx diasbled. again just the cpu score
if the thread goes to the next page and you didn't finish just put it in the post above. -

sorry for the double post. its just that it's a different topic.

Well shoot, if you've already OC'd the GPU's and barely getting 16k, that's no fun... going to need to wait for better sli 280m drivers.
If you can use 185.20 from LV2G, you can get get a few hundred more points in vantage though. Try pushing memory higher, 1025.
Have you tried setFSB yet? -
I'm just under 16K at 3.46Ghz and no gpu OC. Aren't these still good scores for Nvidia based systems?
-
I downloaded that Terran conflict benchmark, ran it closed it and this morning noticed that my gpu's hadn't turned off after selecting powersaver mode. It said I can save power now if I end Terran conflict process. Checked task manager and sure enough it was running in the background using 293000k of system ram.
-
Should be close with the W90 with a bit more juice. Right now, highest documented was about 11,350 for GPU score, and that was right after they figured out how to properly OC with Crossfire on. -

well 3.06 cpu clock seems to be my max, no matter what i try it BSOD's at anything higher i set. I know it can go higher as intel had it at 3.7 so it has to be a voltage issue. I did oc my vid cards a bit more, running tests to see if it stable now.
-
What voltage are you reading under load?
-
Past the first hurdle.
-
dondadah88 Notebook Nobel Laureate
that was on the whitebook with heavy tweaks and massive cooling. so don't except to happen with any and everyone. 3.5ghz is the highest I have seen on the whitebook and it wasn't stable.
then I saw someone bring it to 3.8 but lost point on 3dmark06 so brought it back down. it also had xtu on it which still isn't released for the public.
but bring it to your stable clock then up the fsb slowly and you should break 3.06. don't just use mulitilers. you have to play with your cpu to find out it's 'sweet spot'
one for it being stable and one for benchmarking.
also mess with your ram and see what's up. let us know what you come up with. -
Very useful information. I am completely stable at 3.06Ghz CPU OC. Not sure why you would not be. If you did not let your voltage scale with the OC, it may explain why your system crash.
Concerning the GPU, what settings are you looking to use for 24/7 use? -
could this possibly be a mobile gpu record?
-
dondadah88 Notebook Nobel Laureate
for your gpu yes it is but you need to disable physx for it to register with orb.
-
-
nice job with that run. That's the highest so far and that didn't take long either
-
dondadah88 Notebook Nobel Laureate
you may have to overvolt but raise you clocks to
core 660
memory 1010 or 1025
shader 1650 -
MrButterBiscuits ~Veritas Y Aequitas~
Hey has anyone actually ran a bench with their GPU's overclocked yet? so far I've only seen CPU OCing
-
-
i'm not going to push it further though until i get a cooler -
MrButterBiscuits ~Veritas Y Aequitas~
Did you also run in 06? with GPU and CPU... just becuase of the 16k barrier I know you were trying to break.... You got so cloose! 15,969 or something

one mpre clock. you may lock up or have a diver faulire but it's ok.
665/1025/1670 -
-
Something tells me the cards may be overvolted already...is there a way to check the current voltages?
-
dondadah88 Notebook Nobel Laureate
I think so also. I had to overvolt to hit those clocks.
ifyou are you should of told us so we can push it to the limits.
do you want to break 17,000 in 3dmark06? -
MrButterBiscuits ~Veritas Y Aequitas~
I want to break the Asus W90 that's what I want to do lol....
186.03 for windows 7 64 bit or vista 64 bit? -
Here' my last run with Physx off
-
dondadah88 Notebook Nobel Laureate
when are you going to get your notebook?
-
MrButterBiscuits ~Veritas Y Aequitas~
186.03 mandrake test it out! lol
I ordered it TODAY! now I have to wait 3-4 weeks... -
dondadah88 Notebook Nobel Laureate
what are your clocks? -
MrButterBiscuits ~Veritas Y Aequitas~
Ok I haven't benched with Vantage... mostly becuase I haven't got my laptop yet lol.. but do you add the scores together to get a culminating score or what?
EDIT: 186.03lol
PS Hey guys have you all switched out your thermal paste on your GPU's and CPU? -
-
Clocks are 670|1030|1650 -
-
first to 12k wins

what about the CPU score?
-
-
MrButterBiscuits ~Veritas Y Aequitas~
Yea we'll is that not part of the system as well? lol... if my system can beat the a ssytem with ATI cards becuase I have Psyx it's legitimate right! lol
-
you need to beat these scores first...
vantagemark ran by Mugenski 11,354 gpu and now hes up to 11.4something
http://service.futuremark.com/resultComparison.action?compareResultId=1129497&compareResultType=19
my vantage run
17.3k 3dmark run by a w90
-
MrButterBiscuits ~Veritas Y Aequitas~
Ehhh he's not even an NBR member I don't know if I can consider that Legit john
-
Look up, they already beat the Vantage record. But it seems the 3dmark06 scores won't be touched if the M17x can't get their QX9300s significantly past 3ghz.
That said, first to 12k wins!
M17x Benchmarks thread !!!
