So far my highest stable clock has been 10.5x 1200/1200 for 3.15 GHz. Tonight I will try some other things to try for 3.2. But sadly I don't think I will be seeing 3.3 on this one....not that 3.2 is bad though ;)

Moo made a thread that talks about OC for GPU's dude...it's called the M17x OC for noobs, or something along those lines.

Just because your post isn't the most recent does not mean that it is not going to be read - whenever I check a thread, I start from last one I read, then go to end so I get everything

edit: here is link to moo's thread: http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=408230

    190.40 guru3d for my 11.816 Vantage Score. I tested again your 186.24.

Good Score for non GPU OC, but the Screen? Is that Screen powered by Photoshop?

witcher, no one can tell you what to OC too...every chip is different and you have to play around with numbers yourself to find the limits of your hardware

That's because he hates the benchmark. Although if you want to do comparisons he's one person you can talk to. If you want to compare against mine, the score is in the sig. ;)

what cpu speed did you get those scores at? And with a good OC on the qx9300, run a full vantage run, should be able to get around (and over) P12000 easily enough

should have stayed with the 3870's

looking at the gpu temps didnt get over 58 so they didnt stress them, strange

P10170, to be more precise. I do think he originally had the link to a picture, but it's a futuremark link now.

Oh and for the record, my score without physx is around P6800-6900.

They're so short, unless you're running an unstable CPU clock, I don't see why not. Wouldn't it be nice to not only break your previous GPU record, but also have your official record online?

if you were referring to me, i simply have no interest in seeing how fast a Qx9300 can go, we all know that already

i was only interested in clocking the 280's

    on my q9000?

I just set my FSB in the bios to 1280.. Anything higher it doesnt run stable.

I tried a 1:2 ratio and had no luck... It was not stable so I left mem at default..

What other info would you like to know?

i did 61 average but my run was at 1920*1200 your's was at 1920*1080. switching between those resoultions isn't a big difference in performance.

where you overclocked? if so, what clocks?

sorry...over clocking the cpu raises the gpu score so if you only care about gpu..then quit over clocking the cpu/fsb/mem

    after thought
dont see to many people benchmarking the gpu only part of 3dmark06....

Hey Chaz... Did they ship it to you with the 179.85 or the 186.12 driver? Kind of curious to see which driver they shipped the review unit with.
