I can I see the temp of both GPU's in OCCT?
I can only see 1.

Either way, these chips can hold their own. No need to waste money on 280s for sure. On top of that though, I have determined that a single 260m is about 40% faster than my desktop 8800 GTS 640... At least. The G80 was such a crappy architecture compared to these... -
I'm up to 745 1100 1815 an I haven't broke 40c yet
no artifacting
trying to figure out what's holding my scores back ....
CPU @ 3.2x -
-
I kno I'm testing
if I wanted a good score I would use the clocks u did
did you score best with mem @ 1066 or 1333 ? I'm testing now jw
Still stuck at 62xx
I have the CPU @ 20c n it still won't oc any furthur so it's voltage or the chip ... -
My best over all score was with the mem @ 1066. When I hit 12K with my x9100 mem was @ 1205.
-
Hummmmm my mem is not fully stable @ 1100
core n shader r fine though...
Gonna see how far I can get this .... -
I just did a quick run and beat my score by a whole 2 points. Like Scook and John said when you find the right settings everything runs great. Just need to do a marathon of runs to see how high you can get. I will try some more tomorrow. Busy day today.
-
even with my clocks @ the post above i can't get any higher then 6300
.....now comes the boring part though
testing each setting ....
btw the clocked posted above are the Maxx my card could handle @ 29C
.... -
New high in CPU. Now just need to get the GPU back up. LINK
-
Those are some nice clocks, moo.
And mandrake - maybe someday we'll see a 13k vantage runlol
-
Maybe when the new ATI cards come out.
-
Whenever ( if ever) that will be..lol

P13000 could happen, would need to get a few hundred more out of the gpus though which will present a serious challenge, maybe with future drivers
Nice CPU score, is a but higher than the best CPU score I saw. Sucks when you get a record on one and not bothlol
-
going on September and this mysterious gddr5 card still hasn't surfaced.
anyways....once you find the right numbers...the rest is sytem manipulation. and that can take some times. once you find a good set of clocks. stay with that set for a few days trying to find out what's holding it back. the lower the over clock with better results..the more you can push later.
also, see if you can get someone to mode the 190.56 desktop drivers to work on here...that will probably get you around 400 more points in the gpu category(speculation of course). they seem to be the best desktop driver without using ln2 -
cookinwitdiesel Retired Bencher
I would enjoy if someone would mod the 190.56 drivers for sure
I lack the know how
I am not waiting or even hoping for GDDR5 ATI cards.....not worth the trouble. We all saw how much the M17 owners were let down on that (they still are not shipping out an upgrade to people) -
looks as though ichime has finally unlocked the 4870's.
looks like you guys may have your work cut out for you.
wont really know till he runs the whole test, but as of right now..1 card at 7k gpu. -

Anyone knows anything about this software?

Hey all! Whats the highest temp I should let me CPU (T9600) and TZ00 get to while doing a intelburn?
Also, what is good temp checking program? Everest doesn't seem to work on my lappy and HWMonitor seems to be doing some weird things. -
.
-
Yea when myax is 6300
-
I think my max single GPU run on the W90 was like 6500 so he has come along way .
-
didn't old vicious do like 6700 single gpu? -
I will ... I have no fear of it ....
My gpu is taking some serious abuse -

I wonder what my ati 9100 can pull?
But ichime is hitting some serious numbers....,
I wonder with crossfire what he can do? I believe before he sent it in he hit 11.7k? -
it may prove harder to do in crossfire than in single card mode....and yes. it was 11.7k.
i mean, just a temp run should net him 12k fairly easy with this new found voltage, but only if crossfire is stable... -
Hey John so I don't screw it up you wanna overvolt my vbiod ?
-
Only problem with the W90 or crossfire in general atleast on mobile side is its not double the numbers with 2 cards going like it would be on the Nvidia side or close to it i should say .
-
still will end up higher then the 280's
here is my biosAttached Files:
-
-
yes, im thinking it should be higher. maybe 12.5 or so...
hummm, gonna upload this inf for the 260m/280m's it's for benching only! so no one get cute with trying to ask for this and that and why this and that don't work. cause the answer...i don't know...hahaha. -

Open nbitor
open vbios
change to 9800m gtx to read properly
Change voltage
change back to unsupported
Save

Correct ? -

Guess who submitted that GTX 280M ID for the 5.2 release.

Precisely.
-
Wow. Seriously. Over-volting? That's crazy haha.
-
I'll be doing it tonight ....
I'm keeping my temps in the high 20's to low 30's -
If my temps were that low, I'd consider it... my temps are about double that idle.
-
A ac window unit does wonders...
Lowest I have hit at idle is 9c -
-
I always was and I was testing extreme overclocks .... With out it I would of insta fried it
what version if nvflash do I need -
you can flash in windows if im not mistaken.
not sure on the nvflash version. i think i was using 5.7 or something like that.
http://www.softpedia.com/get/Tweak/Video-Tweak/nVFlash.shtml -
Doesn't work
I had to do it in dos last time -
that's fine. just as long as it works.
-
I had to use a specfic version ... Hold on I'm going into my flashing thread
M17x Benchmarks thread !!!
