Orb does that sometimes with new cards.

Hey electrosoft, didn't Orb mess up the name of the 4870's?

Yeah it did, messed up the names of the graphics cards in the W90 with the 4870's as well as the Sagar NP5797 with the single GTX 280m.

    Any chance of a 3DMARK 06 score?
I know Vantage is the gold standard now, but just to see what I can hit.
Stock and OC'ed CPU if you don't mind?
Great work and congrats man! :D

    Gratz on the sale Moo.

Just make sure he's legit, and if he wants overnight, make sure he pony's up the coin for it.

If he's willing to pay $120 S&H on a $1490 item, that would raise alarms for me and I would check and recheck his legitimacy.

    Make sure he's confirmed/verified.

Also, ask for a voice # to verify.

Nice pics, (need a tripod for some :p) I tell you what the Keyboard is what really brings the M17X to life, not only just the awesome lights but also that its a nice full sized keyboard with a real number pad.

I think you score is not supposed to be just this

Here is my 8800M GTX SLI with 185 driver. I think you should be able to get at least 10k for GPU.

Futuremark doesn't consider physx enabled scores to be "official" so if you don't use their approved drivers with physx disabled, your scores wont be listed globally for ranking/what-not. Kinda shady, but they have their reasons...

yeah...and those reasons have to do with ati not being able to do the same thing...so to stop the ..er ah...confusion...they dropped it from requirement.

    and the flip side...

almost all modified ati drivers seem to be certified, while touch an nvidia driver and it's no longer orb verified....(speculation of course)

Kinda silly how they engineered PhysX support for Vantage only to make scores using PhysX not official.

ati couldn't use it...so it can't be official anymore....

say, does ati have some sort of step up program? i might try a pair of 4870x2's if i can step up to the next higher card without having to sale mine....or would that be some more whishful thinking?

johnksss on ur sig, i see ur vantage gpu score, it says 11.016 with no Physx enabled but thats with 9800mgtx sli and qx9650 oc, is it fair to say u bound to get better score than that with gtx 280 equipped with qx9300 and over clocked.

    1: 9800m gtx's over clocked
    2: cpu stock
    3: memory stock

hard to say, but it seems that..the better your vga and ram are..the higher the gpu score..over clocked cpu for over all score.

i use to think it was based on the fsb, but after tring this on an i7 at 4.5 ghz..vs a lower speed...the gpu's stayed pretty much the same..it wasn't untill i started uping my ram speed and changing the timings that i notice the gpu scores starting to seriousy change for the better...(work and understanding..still in progress.)

Guys- I went to Frys tonight toting the big rig, and tested all the bags they sold. As you recall, I bought a Booq Mamba bag and it didn't come close to fitting. Actually, almost all bags don't fit this monster. I found a shoulder bag that fit the m17, but it was heavy as crap. So, I ended up getting this Swiss bag and it fits great, and looks great. I think u guys would be happy with it. Plenty of storage for other stuff too. Very sturdy.
