Oh LG, no wonder you guys are all happy. Wish Sager had gone for LG as well, guess I'll find out tomorrow how good the AUO 10ED panel is.

    Thanks!

yeah.... this screen is almost too bright lol. I've been putting it on 1-2 notches less than full brightness since receiving it..... i might need shades to put it at the top setting lol

but i have somewhat dim/moody lighting in some parts of my house, so that's probably why it seems brighter to me ...
i remember i turned it way up once when i was in an OVERLY bright room elsewhere and it still looked good

thanks mick21! for giving me hope :)
Well anyway, do you guys know any small program maybe below 20mb
that will put a stress on the video card so I can check the temp.
Until now I am doing remote connection on my M15X and I can't install
games. My sister doesn't know much of computer thingy. That is why maybe any software might do the job remotely.

You'll be right, it's easy enough that my Dad can use it ;) From what I remember you just have it running on both PC's and use the code generated on the M15x to access it remotely.

Not too sure, I've only use it once. You install a small program on the M15x and have it running, it should generate a code or you can select your own. To access it remotely you can have the program installed on another PC or you can just use the TeamViewer web site and use the code to connect.

I've been googling today and found this free video benchmark tool.
I have tried this and very simple.
    http://www.downloadatoz.com/toplight/video card benchmark.html

Will you recommend one that fits for our M15X windows 7 64bit?

I have a feeling it has something to do with certain routers and the intel 5300. I have not been able to find that article that discussed that. What router do you have?

It makes the back of the computer stand up a cm or two, so it's sort of leaning forwards a slight bit. No bad thing though, but no it isn't flush.

you have to change the configuration so that it plays nice with your router: different settings fit different routers -- I can help if yours' is a dlink.
the most important variable is to configure the intel 5300 adapter and ubder the advanced tab ensure the channel width is set to auto for both 2.4 and 5.2 and enable the n mode -- all of which will make sense when you open that dialogue box -- then for your router also make sure the wireless is set to auto

Gosh, their customer service is so messed up today. Ok so I called the technical support number cause' I want bluetooth installed on my computer. It connected me to some indian guy and he said he will transfer me to another person. I got connected to another person and he told me he'll connect me to another person and this keeps repeating over and over! I'm getting sick of repeating my damn order number, name, and getting transferred to different departments just for this! * frustrated * it's been almost an hour now and I'm still being transferred around different departments... lame.

its fact that some M15x's definitely shipped without bluetooth installed because several people have taken their laptop apart to look for the bluetooth card, which was nowhere to be found...

I have the same for graphics and memory, but i have a 7.2 for processor... i'm with the i7 820 so that's why.

Has anybody noticed that there's a little bit of give on the bottom left and right of the laptop? Specifically over the rubber pad region for the lid when it closes... if you wrest your palm on those two areas of the palm wrests, does it make a slight creak and flex down a little? like a millimeter. Again, don't use your fingers to try and press down because nothing will really happen, you need to use your palm over the rubber strip.

A second thing i've been noticing is that there's a scratcy noise sometimes when you scroll down large pages! I have no idea where it's coming from, but it's independent of sound volume. I noticed that when you put on stealth mode, it doesnt happen anymore...and read on google it has to do with the power supply unit, which is where i got the idea to hit stealth mode. This happening for anyone else?

Let me know if anyone else is experiencing these two issues!

    Thank you for the info.

How long ago did you get your laptop roxy? I know the service tags can take some time to get into the system. If your service tag is not found, you need to call customer service in order for them to have your service tag added to the system. Sorry you are going through that. :(

Edit: The service tag issue happened to me.
