I've got one and its pretty decent, I wouldn't use it much for FPS though since theres a slight noticeable lag...

I'm not sure, it may be the momentum from the weight of the batteries, heavy pc mice really annoy me, thats why I avoid wireless ones...but that one is still pretty good.

    Razer Orochi is amazing.
Sure, its expensive, but the quality is just superb.

Use bluetooth for everyday tasking and just plug in the USB for gaming.
While gaming, it performs better than the Deathadder (no scientific test, just the "feel").

I love small mouses, since i have a finger grip, so i use Orochi for my desktop also.

Just dont try to game with bluetooth! Thats not objective of this mouse!
It is supposed to deliver wireless experience for normal tasks and free up a usb port in bluetooth. And provide the same ubber technology from razer for gaming when you plug the usb.

I'm in a different line from most of you guys anyway (Malaysia not US of A). Plus its not 100% that you get bumped anyway, its just asking to be bumped.

EDIT: I'm just getting bumped up the DELIVERY line not the production line. If there's a shortage of parts, I won't get mine earlier at the expense of you guys who ordered earlier.

A rep told me that she submitted an internal request to bump my order. I was 3/8/2010 when ordering then I jumped to 3/3/2010 after 2days. So not sure if she really did bump my order or if I was just lucky.

It is quite a bit more expensive than the m11x though.

The Z looks nice, would have preferred a non stealth bomber look for my laptop, but whatev's. The coupon code action was too good to pass up.

Edit: The brushed aluminum lid is dead sexy and that keyboard is pretty baller.

Download 3dmark 06 and run it with default settings to find out how much performance gain you will see. It is a fairly good estimation. The 11x scores 6100 for comparison.

    Good Luck

I personally like the g500 more since it has the extra thumb button, its awesome for mmo's. I can map keys 4-0 all onto the g500. 3 thumb, 2 side scroll, middle scroll.

dang that was pretty fast, nuke! mine was only confirmed 2 days later.

it's always possible to get your delivery expedited. you gotta speak to a customer care officer and request to expedite. normally, you will be given a case number. and like what nuke has stated, only the delivery can be expedited, not the production. any kind of part shortages will still delay your delivery. :)

    *applies to Dell Malaysia.

And the M11x won't come with Vaio's idiotic EpicFail(tm) battery auto-drain feature that forces you to store the battery outside of the unit or else it will drain when turned off. You pay extra for that "feature" with the Vaio.

nope. good question since Bad Company's requirements is pretty steep (rather CPU-dependant, quad core preferred).

Yeah what caught my attention was the ability to switch off the battery while charging by hitting fn+F# (I can't remember which function key it is, though >_>).

And I just noticed the screen on the M11x is glossed edge to edge like the new MacBook Pros. It looks awesome. :D

Its Fn+F2 that disables charging on the battery. Or you can just remove the bottom panel and remove the battery if you don't plan to use it often.

Azn did explain something about it a few pages back regarding it being a BIOS option... But I think Dells have that option in the Quickset menu too methinks.

I reckon BF:BC2 could struggle on the M11x. Initial reports from the demo suggest needing a quad core to get any decent GFX/frame rates. Half decent desktop PC's running dual cores are struggling apparently...

Bear in mind this is the demo I am talking about though. The RC might have better optimisation or something. Will just have to wait till the game is released I guess.

The CPU is the one thing that has turned me off the M11x, I play alot of CPU intensive games. I don't think the M11x will be able to cope, a real shame :(

4.5 pounds or 1.99 kg. Dell reckons its in the 6100 range but that might be stock and unoverclocked.

We'll have to wait and see. Remember GTA4 when it first launched on the PC "shudders" Are you really a pom?

    just want to compare
    my samsung r480 :
    13.5 inch width
    9.4" depth
    1.2 in" to 1.5" height
    The weight is 2.3kg = 5.06lb

    checked dell.ca 11x is 4.5lb

so my r480 is 2.25" wider
0.21" deeper ( not much can even forget this)
the front end is 0.09" thinner while the back is 0.21" thicker
    and only 0.51lb heavier..

while they are the same in price..
    the R480 's 3dmark2006 is 6994 at stock setting. (core i5 2.27ghz +330m(slower gpu)

some people said the 11x get 6000 in 3dmark06
this really showed the 335 is bottlenecked pretty bad.
    the 330m has 48 - unified pipline
    while 335m has 72
