A couple of Canadians have said their orders have shipped. Look back about 20 pages.

 

GRR so many people now moving to the boxing stage yet I'm still in the build stage. Makes me emo. Ordered 2/3 8AM EST and EDD is 3/4 via NBD. Just bump me to boxing stage!! Dammit. You guys are checking this info via the 18002832210 4,2,1,1 right? BLAH

Still in production, but my EDD has been updated to: 2/23/2010

 

Yet mine is boxing, but my EDD is still 3/4. . .

Who knows? I'm sure we'll all be getting our laptops soon. Probably sometime next week for most of us.

 

My brother in law in London ordered a UK lunar shadow model for me over the phone with a Dell agent yesterday.

List price of 869 pounds with 4 gigs of RAM and SU7300 CPU, he got a small discount and will have it for 820 pounds.

EDD no later than 5 March. Rep mentioned UK orders and "rest of world" would be quicker due to no custom nameplates.

/can't wait to get mine when the BIL visits just before easter.

 

I keep calling that 1800 number hoping it changes from "build" to whatever next it says.. if it doesn't change tomorrow I'm gonna cry seeing all these 2/3's get boxing ahead of me... hahaaboohooo

I'm just hoping a bunch of these baby's go on ebay soon so i can order from there and not have to order now from dell and wait till march 17th to get it.
i'm not too picky about the specs so most any configuration will do.

 

You realize that it'd probably be faster to order from dell since everyone that is starting to ship ordered 15-17 days ago....

Ebay will almost certainly be no buyout, overpriced, and a week+ delivery so you're looking at two weeks anyways.

 

My EDD has also been updated, 2/23/2010, which is great for me, 10pg paper due 2/22, midterm 2/23, booya

Anyone know how easy it is for dell to change your shipping method? I just realized I was set up for standard shipping, we talked about doing next-day, but i wasn't charged for it or set up for it :-\

My Order date was 2/4, maybe they bumped up the EDD from 3/9 to 2/23 when I talked to the rep today. It should be really easy for dell to change your shipping method. they upgraded my standard shipping to next day air for free.

I think i'm gonna give dell customer service a ring tomorrow if there's no change :/ .. is it the same 1800 number floating around?

 

If you ordered through EPP, call the EPP line and say you want to know what's going on with your order.

I ordered on 2/2 in Canada. Got my shipped notification with my Purolator tracking number. Hopefully It'll get here before the weekend!

If I didn't order from a rep (just ordered off the EPP website) can I still call and talk to a rep about the status of my order, or can you only talk to the rep that sold you the computer?

I've called the number already...I've done it so much I've memorized my order number lol. What I meant was, with all these other people getting their orders expedited, I wanted to see if I could call in and maybe get something like that to happen. But since I didn't order originally through a rep, I wasn't sure if there was someone I could talk to or not

 

Shipped this morning, sat in production since the 15th only. Won't be around to get it though because of a business trip

Oh and i just called DELL, apparently it takes 3-4days to get to the carriers and then they call you the day before to arrange a time . So not gonna get it before the weekend /cry

BTw guys just to let you know us in the UK are getting ours from IRELAND from a place called "Raheen Limerick"
