*OFFICIAL* M11x Order Status Discussion Thread

Mine got custom nameplate, I didn't check before though so I don't know when it went in boxing maybe it ship tonight so I can have it tommorow! but if not I guess I would have it Monday. Doesn't look like custom nameplate adds much time afterall. Seems like most everyone should start seeing theirs next week.

 

I just received an email from my Dell Business Rep.

Status IP MFG Station 5484 - IN TRANSIT TO US

Mine went into boxing yesterday (Showed as shipped this morning, now back to In progress) Real status is its on a plane train or ship from Asia to the US. Assuming it takes 2-3 days to get here, and another day for overnight shipping I should have my new baby Monday or Tuesday next week.

 

Boo.. I'm so jealous at everyone getting movement..

 

Got it today. I have school tonight so I cant post much until I get home

Hey Dark, Mine is in transit to the US and I have the custom name plate on mine. I am also in Northern California, so I don't think the custom nameplates really have anything to do with it.

Congrats man! Makes me rage that mines still in build purgatory and the rep emailed me back saying there aren't any updates, but dang man. Nice!

 

Woohoo! I just called the 800 number and mine, ordered 2/2 is in "boxing" now, from "build" yesterday... so, that's gotta be a good thing I hope!

Still says a ship date of 3/2 though... we'll see! I'm in the US, North Carolina to be more specific if it matters.

 

My shipping was changed from 3-5 day to next business day. LOL. Those guys are awesome. I didn't even ask to get it for free, but they did it anyhow.

I ordered 2/3, hopefully mine will be in "boxing" stage soon too. Would be great if I could get it by next Wednesday. Have some freetime next Thursday. Whee ha!

 

My shipping changed from 3-5 to 7 day! WTH! I called yesterday to ask if they could expedite it and they said, they will have to cancel my order and reorder and there will be $70 charge for overnight. Double WTH!

 

OMFG!!!! I just canceled and reordered last week. Apparently, the laptop I just canceled arrived at my doorstep today, but I wasn't there. I got a Fedex door tag. I'm going to see if I can get it tonight.

 

I might have to return it though. I don't want to be charged double for an extra laptop.

Don't get to excited, i ordered on 2/3 and have been in boxing for 3 days now...How long does it take to put a computer in a freakin' box?!?!

 

A long time when the computer is 3000 miles away from the box.

 

I don't know what's going on here. My current Dell DPA ballance is $12. The status page on the re-ordered laptop is still in production. Fedex is closed, I will have to pick it up tomorrow. I'm not going to open it until things are more clearer for me.

su4100, 4GB ram, and 160gb HD. The only upgraded part was the ram.

I think the build stage is one of the levels in Dante's Inferno.. I haven't played it.. but that's what I heard :/.

I've got no idea where my order currently sits...

It's been in the "Manufacturing build complete" stage for 3 days now... and it still has my estimated delivery date as the 24th of Feb.

On another forum another Aussie stated that their sales rep told them that the online tracking isn't currently working. Can any other Australians confirm this is this case?

 

Ordered 2/4 still in the "Build Stage" in production. Upgraded Processor, Ram to 4 gigs, bluetooth and custom nameplate.

 

It's really frustrating, and Dell doesn't seem to care.
