    Glad I am not really in a hurry for mine...My desktop is my main gaming machine and will stay that way. This is mainly for a backup when the desktop is not convenient.

    I have a desktop too.. I'm just excited because it's something new that I'm receiving and new things.. always exciting! :D
    My mom is gonna buy my hp once i get my alienware.. so its like another ++ for me.. cuz i get money and a new lappy! :D
    So.. therefore SO EXCITING!

    i use desktop for gaming too but i just need the m11x because its so much lighter and since i gave my m15x to a family member who comp broke down i basically am stuck with my dying netbook so i kinda need this fast lol. I would like to do some light gaming and watch some hd content while im at school since i have long breaks so thats what the m11x will be doing :D

    Errrah! I have a "not shipped yet" but is says it is going to be delivered in two days! (02/20) I have 7 day shipping so somethng is screwed up. I hope it is the "not shipped yet" part :D

    Dell's service for me has been too good in a way. This customer service rep is calling me on my home phone, cell phone and sending me emails every other day giving me an update on my status. Driving me nuts honestly...

    They are even copying me on internal emails telling me how they are expediting my order.

    I ordered on 2/3 with the 7300, 500 gig HD, 4 gigs of ram, 3 year warranty and bluetooth. Its been in boxking for 3 days, and it sill shows delivery in 3/3. I did put a custom name plate.

    @nuke737 - about the N900...tell me about it. Talk about something that taught me patience! This is NOTHING compared to that. At least for this we have expected ship dates that haven't passed yet. With the N900 it was pre order and for MONTHS NADA! Then rumors then more nothing than finally they started shipping from one e-tailer and not Amazon...Then I ordered direct kept my pre-order which took weeks later to get...ugh...what a mess that was. This is GREAT compared to what Nokia did...a real cakewalk in comparison.

    Also I have a dude from Dell calling me now for 2 weeks updating me and how things are progressing.

    woot..ordered mine on 2/3 edd was 3/8. Called and checked today and system said my order was shipped. edd was moved up to 2/23.

    Also the Core 2 duo sticker is under the Laptop next to the Windows sticker. No other stickers.

    Been looking for a decent laptop that's portable and decided to go with this over the Vaio Z so I splurged a bit - SU7300, SSD, 8 GB RAM. This is going to be the longest month wait ever...

    Change your RAM! Quick! Just get 4GB, there's no reason to get 8GB now.

    Save that $400 and get a better SSD online or get some kick accessories.

    Cancel the order through Dell's phone line and then place it again. It's totally worth it to save that money.

    When you cancel it, you'll be sent to a customer service rep who will ask you why you're canceling your order (to try and get you to keep it or order something else). Just tell them you're ordering it again but changing the specs and they will cancel it for you without a problem.

    I think it is bad karma for me. I was literally one of the first people to get the N900 (got before Nov 25th) and posted review on Maemo Talk. I had problems with the unit, so Dell shipped me two more by mistake. I ironically had THREE at once, before most people got their orders. M11x is being jinxed due to me ;)

    I got my N900 for $460 delivered, with Dell discounts and stacked coupon ;)

    Yeah, i ordered mine 2/3 and my EDD is 3/4. Its says I'm "In Production". I have next day shipping so i hope i get it soon and not in two weeks cant wait that long. I... I might die X o.
    I might call them though, I think it would be worth it.

    Just checked with dell via phone as my order was stuck in the Build Complete phase for 4 days.

    They say the Dell Australia online tracking system isn't working, and that my order has in fact arrived in Australia, should hopefully see my laptop mid next week. :)

    Called earlier today - rep stated no delays / on schedule. Has been showing as "In production" on the site with a "Current in the Build state" via phone.

    Checked the site just now - again - with 3 different pages (depending on where I click)

    My Account page - shows "Delivery Preparation" with NO EDD.
    Clicking on the Order ID link - shows "In Production" with EDD of 3/11
    Clicking on the Purchase ID link - shows "Shipped" with EDD of 3/11

    Phone system states "We are currently preparing your order to be shipped"

    Never saw a Boxing phase.

    Original info:

    Order Date: 2/7/10
    ESD: 3/5/10
    EDD: 3/11/10

    Now, on a completely unrelated note:

    Where the hell is my product?!!! I've placed my order several days ago. I can't sleep, eat, drink and this waiting is causing my mind to enter a weird state of panic and hysteria. I can't take it anymore, I tell you. I can't take it! :)

    How was that for control? Seriously though, im as excited as you are. Just ordered mine from Denmark and it says ETA March 5th.

    payment confirmed on 2/5, build completed today (2/19) and expected to receive it mid of next week. probably one of the earliest for Malaysian orders. :)

    Little tip for all the UK people unable to track their order.

    1) Go to http://www.walshwestern.com/scripts/trackntrace.htm

    2) In the first box which asks for your Customer Number, do NOT enter the one which Dell have given you (also shown on the Status Page), but replace the letters GB and the first number (1) with the numbers 02 (zero, two) so that you are left with a 9 digit number, and enter this in the Customer Number Box.

    3) Then enter your 8 digit Order Number in the next box, and click on ‘Search’.

    Found this info on another forum. My m11x has justed entered the shipping phase and apparently left China at 4am. Ordered 07/02.
