    Same here with 2/3 build hell. Folks ordering 2/10 or later going into shipping is cruel and unusual punishment.

    It's one thing for people like me to get theirs shipped - I ordered on 2/3 like all of you (actually I ordered on 2/1, but they lost the order. . . ).

    It's pretty crazy that people who ordered on 2/11 are getting theirs shipped when people who ordered on 2/3 are still waiting. . . that's just not right.

    the website for me still says in production with a edd of 3/17 but the nice automated telephone lady told me its being prepared to ship but i kinda regret being cheap and choosing the 5 - 7 day shipping. i didnt get an email saying its been shipped yet >>

    maybe the bluetooth module could be out of stock since i didnt order it because i dont have a use for it.

    So instead of waking up and finding that my order has changed, I woke up and found that people who ordered a week after me just got theirs shipped.

    Oh ho ho, Dell you're getting one hell of a bad phone call.

    I did the same thing with the shipping, but my EDD is 2/23 somehow....whats yours? Didn't figure there was any way they could make it in 2 days if it shipped monday unless it was close to my house in southern california.

    well they would have to cancel the order an reorder if u wanted to change the shipping method. on the website i still have a edd of 3/17. the automated telephone lady wont give me the option of "learn more" to find out an updated edd. last time i called which was yesturday i had an updated edd of 3/11

    Is shipping counted from when it leaves China. Or when it is boxed at a different location with all the accessories.

    Mine is in Memphis now, so it is moving today I am getting anxious that means it should be delivered tomorrow even if it says "Tuesday" http://i.imgur.com/bdwmM.png I am going to eat more chicken wings than Brian Boitano ever dreamed of as soon as mine shows up!

    You're calling the wrong number. Call that one number and put in 4,2,1,1 sorry too lazy to find the number, it's in some sigs. somenoe help? haha I'm just ticked at this damn thread.

    Picked-up 2/20 in Nashville, Arrived in Memphis today (2/21) @ 1:04pm, so hopefully will hit my Greensboro hub tonight or early in the AM tomorrow, and out for delivery for tomorrow (2/22) by 3:00. We'll see!

    EDIT: It looks like some of us have pick-up dates of 2/20, others on 2/21... i'm betting the 2/20's get here tomorrow (2/22), and the 2/21's missed the memphis trip today and arrive on 2/23

    Marked as shipped 2/20/2010
    Estimated delivery 2/23/2010
    I paid for next day shipping, and I'm sure FedEx will delivery as soon as Dell gets the package to them. FedEx still is not tracking my shipment currently.

    What good does it do to be a to someone? I am fortunate enough to work in tech support where if I am threatened, insulted, or otherwise disrespected (ex: someone using profanity) I can tell the customer to calm down then call back and hang-up on them.

    A rep in a call center cannot run down to the lines, slap together your computer, and toss it in a box for you. If you're angry, write a letter to Dell. That is the only way you'll get a response from someone that has the ability to make changes to the process or give you any sort of explanation. It's not going to crank your machine out any faster, but there's nothing you can do about that.

    well it was sarcasm but i guess it really doesnt work on the internet. the rep can expedite your order and i heard it actually works for some people..so giving them a call helps.

    No, but working in retail has taught me that if you want something done, you raise Hell to get it. I'm not talking about cursing out the rep (it's not his/her fault), but crap about "out of stock parts" or "you're in a bad production line" isn't going to cut it if I'm paying them $900.

    I just want answers as to why people who've ordered a week after me are getting their laptops before me. Up until this point, I've had good experiences with Dell. Now, after they have my order, it seems like they just don't care.

    I agree with Ceol. I've been on board since day one, ordered without hesitation and now people are getting their orders to their house probably by Monday/Tuesday before I even get a boxing notice.
