*OFFICIAL* M11x Order Status Discussion Thread

^@neg - if your ETA 3/25, i doubt that your model has priority.

Im hella stumped right now, my EDD was updated from 3/19 to 3/3, i have 7 day shipping, and my system hasn't shipped yet. So... im pretty sure its shipping tomorrow, but its supposed to arrive in 3 days even though i have the 7 day shipping. Either way i get it in a couple of days, but if it doesn't im going to complain just for the hell of it too see what they throw in.

 

I just think Dell hates me ... lol... aww well maybe one day in the next year i will at least get some sort of update i know there are other people that are in the same position.

 

I'm going to surprise him with the m11x. Right now he has a old 12 pound laptop its terrible. He's done alot for me so this is some payback

Oh my Gawd I just looked at my email and saw order shipped, its just the mouse I ordered lol what a disappointment. LOL

Hoping that they ship this week, with a lot of luck I hope I have it by next weekend.... not having a laptop to tool around with is maddening!

 

You know Zlog, as much as I support all the for his and hers and buying two of the same items. I had this CRAAZY idea we should do this thing called For Him and For some random .. I was thinking.. since you bought one for her.. you can TOTALLY! buy one for someone random .. you know, like me .. It's an experimental idea but I think it would be great if you order it for me now.. I could probably get it before I get my first order yeaaa!! great idea! I'll be waiting X) Thanks alot

Hmm I just spoke to Dell Customer Service after being on hold for 52mins and she advised me that this has an EDD of 17/Mar And she will try and see what she can do with closing it faster not getting my hopes up at least i have a EDD

 

I ordered on 2/17 and had an EDD of 3/23 and now it has updated to 3/5! Im so excited

I ordered 2/19 and had an original EDD of 3/24 got bumped to 3/9 but I'm now in despair and don't believe it any longer as I'm still In Production.

 

On the Dell website is still says I'm in production but when I call the order status phone # it says in past tense that my order shipped 3/2/2010 and my EDD has been updated to 3/5. This is weird because its not 03/02 yet and I got 7 day shipping. I'm assuming it meant its going to be shipped on 03/02 but I still don't know how it will get here on the 5th.

 

My Friend in China its 3/2 they are a day ahead of us

Orderd mine on 24-2-2010 order status is in phase 3 Work in Progress.
Expected delivery date: 19-3-2010.. Still such a long wait

Ordered 24.02.2010[together with a Vostro 1220 (in Production now)] and the EDD is 22.03.2010

Still not in Produktion though.

Does anyone actually know where the units are shipped from? Do they ALL come from some mysterious place in China?

 

Believe the european dell's come from Poland now a days..

Dunno if the plant in Ireland is still producing (if they are than thats where its comming from).

 

Just checked all news reguarding this - you are right but dell sold the poland factory to foxconn who now produces for dell in poland. So anyway delivery should be fast once shipped (max 2 days since we have lots of big delivery hubs around)

(OT)quite funny: a friend of mine is polish(we live close to the boarder - got his car stolen there (like everyone else), not a problem since he was able to steal it back 2 days later.

Ireland factory is gone for good btw

so far the Europe the order to delivery process is around 12 days from looking at many posts on this website. Mine is due this week.

 

today is shipping date.. how long will it take so i can pick it up you think?

 

I ordered mine early in the morning on 2/3...

Still in the damn build stage... this is ridicolous...

 

if it comes from China and with UPS? 4-6 Days i would say.

12 days seems pretty fast - the EDD is usually about 4 weeks from order and i hardly heared of someone receiving it much sooner. But on the other hand i havn't been lurking in order status thread - till now.

 

I'm still in build stage as well - ordered 2/5 with EDD of 3/8

ordered 2/17, the EDD just updated to 3/4 and when i call in says its gunna be here 3/4 wahhoo, it used to say 3/23 so everyone should get theres soon

edit: Just tracked the order number via fedex and says will be here tomorrow!

 

Okay so my 2/3 order has allegedly shipped on 2/28. While my tracking number says the delivery method is "Fedex Home Delivery", my order status lists "Next Business Day" as the shipping method and for the trifecta, my carrier is "Fedex Ground".

What the?!?!?!

I have the same problem, gonna call Dell to see if they can give me the sleeve to compensate for cheaping out on my shipping

I called today since the website wasn't updated, and got a tracking number! (Although the EDD is pushed out).
Ordered 2/1, EDD 3/4. But today it's "Delivery Prep" with EDD 3/8.

I had the same - NBD and they shipped Home Delviery (Ground) - it arrived next day as promised by Dell.

It all depends to which distribution point the M11x comes in from China - mine came into NJ and was shipped ground from there to my home (PA) - which was next day delivery.

 

I'm not sure if this is good news or bad...

Saturday I finally moved out of build purgatory. When I called and check my status it said that it "was" shipped 2/4 (which was my order date ) and is on it's way to the carrier. Well that's obviously not true (at least the part about being shipped on 2/4). I checked the web site and it says the following:

That is still the original EDD but since I paid for overnight, and if it shipped (well lets assume it shipped today) then shouldn't I get it tomorrow?

 

hope its good news jester ive been seeing alot of shipping alot of movement this week maybe they r finaly getting in a move groove anyway good luck im still in build purgatory

I had the same thing. Go to the fedex and track via reference number and use your order number for the reference number and your zipcode and it should show up.

 

Yay! Ordered on 2/20 and shipped today! Will receive tomorrow!

 

Well.. this is weird. mine says shipped but fedex just says it was initiated.. nothing else.. :/

 

Just means Fedex picked it up. It will get updated when it arrives at the depot where it gets scanned to be updated into the system.
