Ordered 02/24 has been in work in progress since so I called today rep said in production and I will have it by Monday checked online a minute ago and it's now showing in production my EDD 03/10 can't wait dug out some old games like anno and comand and conquer as I didn't really get the full effect with my ei systems laptop that's about 10 years old now. The other half uses it now and I'm gettin by with my iPhone and xbox till next week but withdrawl sympthoms are starting to shine through.

Yes! Mine shipped today, with next business day it's showing it'll be here tomorrow. Very happy with how prompt this has been, very sorry to those who ordered long before me. Today is exactly 2 weeks after my order on 2/17.

Ordered 2/11, EDD originally 3/12, updated today to 3/4

Tracking info typically doesn't populate until later in the evening, I'll be lucky to see it in the system before it actually arrives, based on previous orders from Dell.

 

All these orders placed in the 2nd and 3rd week of feb are getting theirs... So far I've got displayport to hdmi adapter and alienware 11x case and a steelseries mousepad free for complaining to my resolution specialist. Can those of you who have ordered in 2nd and 3rd week post your order date and esd and edd and where you're from... I have a theory...

 

Mine is that way, but since it went to shipping sometime in the past 4 hours, I suspect the shipper hasn't picked it up yet, so there's no tracking ID yet.

If they are using FedEx you can track by reference and you'll probably see that it's been initiated and hopefully an estimated delivery date. YOu put your order number in the "Enter reference" box along with the country and zip code. I have overnight so it says the delievery date is March 4th, but who knows.

Damn, mine shipped today. And I was all set to get a discounted extended warranty when they failed to meet the delivery date. Now they will deliver a day early.

Still I have try and get some concession for having taken soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo long.

It must have taken me a couple of hours to get to the last page of this thread... anyways...Placed my order 3/2 and they gave me a EDD 4/2... Current status shows "in production" ....based on anyone's estimated time, is the 30 day a safe estimate or have anyone received their system before the EDD ? anxious....

 

Any one else not having the tracking number work after 3 days after it showed up? Also today is my edd.

 

Its luck. Some people got it in 2 weeks and some ordered a month ago and are still waiting.

 

Holy crap...My orders from Dell have always shipped before EDDs...not sure with this one since it's a new system...hoping it will be like the others...

 

mine has shipped but no delivery info is there. and my delivery date is still 3/22 but im guessing ill get it alot sooner...hopefully. Anyone in canada know where they are shipped from? should mention ordered 2/18

 

They say it may take up to three days for the tracking info to be displayed...I would call them and get it over the phone!

 

mine is in Nashville TN also i hope it gets here on time tomorrow it's being shipped Fed Ex Home Delivery, some nasty stuff about Fed Ex Home delivery on google... oh well just hoping for the best. only couple less than 12-24 hours left !!

 

Okay.... Mine has been "shipped" since this morning. There has been no update on Fedex since Monday. My rep e-mails me and tells me that I should expect the package in 3-5 business days.

I had my shipping changed to NBD, which my status has included since it was updated *a week ago*. But they shipped it standard anyway apparently. I found this out and didn't get to finish my e-mail conversation with my rep because he clocks out at 5pm. I've been waiting a month. I'm tired of Dell doing everything halfway.

 

Ordered 10th Feb, Original EDD: 27th Feb, second EDD: 3rd March, third EDD: 12th March, fourth and current EDD: 19th March. Also on my third order number now thanks to Dell magically regenerating the order, which I suspect is more likely to be doing with meeting targets... but who knows. Oh and they've had my money since around 14th Feb. Ridiculous.

 

I agree with you .. I had a a web chat with my rep and he said sorry i have to go to a meeting who leave a customer because of a meeting ? ... plus when they emailed me and said they had a wrong part number on my order which seems to be an automated system like huh how ? lol and i have sent an email with no reply so fare so i just emailed his manager ! Dell's got really bad at late its like they don't care about the Alienware systems well anything for that matter.

 

Got mine around 3:30 today, funny part was the delivery guy said these were pretty popular, because mine was the sixth one delivered today! RIP order status thread. time to play

My Dell rep was awesome. I ordered mine on Feb 10 and I was expecting my order to arrive on the 12th according to the EDD. I thought I made a big mistake by having them preload WOW. I sent an email to my rep yesterday mentioning some people were getting their laptops after ordering later than me. He called me and told me he had my order expedited and shipped. I have the tracking order! It comes in tomorrow.

 

Oh yeah! Amazon gave me an update that my PS3 slim will also be arriving tomorrow. That had a ship date of March 19-April 28 lol.

 

HAHA yeah .... that's pretty funny... i just hate how they have not emailed me after i have sent several emails to them and then all of a sudden BAM !! cancelled .. i must have been black listed or something when I went on the online chat this is how it ended "ANZ_(DellRep) there must be some shortages or changing of part number

wow, that is pretty awful Mounja. I'm less and less impressed by their standard of service internationally. People have reported poor performance in every country represented here on the forums.

 

I managed to get into the website using my quotation number and email address - it lists as work in progress and my rep hasn't responded to my emails, so i dunno what's going down there, but i have faith

Especially since last time it skipped right from order recieved to arrived in australia
