I thought I was one of the lucky ones but mine is since 15 in status "Shipped" but still today UPS dont show any information in its webpage so I guess Ill have to wait until 03/25.

 

Yeah, Dell has called me a bunch, even when I tell them to not call me (because they always do when I'm busy with something at work, but insist that I talk).

It is always the same rep though. I really do feel bad in that she always seems to get more and more afraid of talking to me every time she calls. I always try to act relatively civil (but unhappy for obvious reasons) though.

At this rate, next time I should ask for a 50% discount, she might be afraid enough, that I'd get it!

Or not.

 

Woo hoo! Mine is arriving tomorrow morning. Got the call today to arrange the delivery time. It's coming between 8am and 1pm.

I am getting ready to order the 11x but wanted to know if there was a problem or delay in shipping. I went through a nightmare with the DELL XPS16 and waited months to get it..any delays??

 

OMG! UPS just updated the info, they sent two boxes (one is the M11X and the other the Headphones) and UPS is planning to deliver one 03/22 and the other one 03/23!!! I hope I get the M11X first because if not there are going to be the longest 24 hours ever!

It doesn't seem there is much extra delay. Unless you happen to order something that they don't have on stock I guess. I ordered on 8th March (10 days ago, now in boxing stage); hopefully it'll be delivered next week.

Mine is still in "boxing" ordered on the same date, exact same spec. I think I'm lagging behind my was in Pre-production full 2 days.

I wish I can sleep straight for a couple days and get this notebook already!

 

According to order tracking, it still hasn't left the factory.

According to the FedEx tracking number given to me by Tim, I get it today!

Don't trust the tracking website, it's often bullting you.

Why is it ground shipment? You'd think fur something so expensive and yet so small it woulda been air/express. especially after the delays.

so i just checked the new order number for my replacement m11x, order put in today EDD 3 days later on the 22nd!
specs- black with u7300,320gb hdd, 4gb ram

Maybe cause I did not get bluetooth, maybe that one little hardware made my order a little faster, haha.
After reading soo many threads, its almost usefull asking for an honest truthful update. Seems like no one at Dell knows, or unfortunately when you talk to someone they are either halfway around the world looking at the same screen you are.

Sometimes I wish, there could be a button to press for honest answers like:
" You have 344 computers ahead of you and it takes average 10 days to build custome computers, there could be delay is products, please expect 20 -30 days to be shipped"
or anything in this realm. I mean, sure the website states an EDD a month ahead for possible safety room for delay, but when we call, I wish we could get an actual realistic answer.

Sorry for the ranting. Just never ordered a computer and took this long to get.

 

Is there any way for me to verify the name on the name plate? I just ordered the m11x last night, and the whole order is correct except that the name play is only listed with:

1 330-9552 Personalized Nameplate
1 330-6106 Personalized Nameplate Trigger

under the laptops detail description. Should it list what I entered when I was configuring the laptop, or they just don't display it? Additionally, is there a way to order new nameplates should this not arrive correctly?

 

Nah, won't list it.

If it's not correct when it arrives, just call and they'll mail you a new plate with screws.

 

The website will not show it but the E-mail you got from dell to confirm your order has it.

On the Dell order status page you can click on the Dell Purchase ID: Number that should take you to the screen to sign up for an e-mail alert when it has shipped.

lol, so i called 1 - 800 - 283 - 2210 and entered my order number and it told me "Your Order Was Received March 22nd"

hmm so maybe thats my new estimated ship date? Although the order still says April 1st. hmmm

 

Hey my EDD is on 4/8 and I noticed that if I ordered TODAY it would be on 4/2. What gives with that?
Also, how can Dell charge you the full price before it's even created? I thought companies couldn't charge you the full price until they could deliver/ship it.

Agreed. I was a little frustrated that I was down over 1k for 2 weeks now going on three, just waiting for the laptop. Was charged in full upon ordering though.

Tracking blows for shipping to canada. They use US Ground. When we pay over 1k for a laptop, it should include decent shipping. Especially considering how small the M11X really is.

 

Wow. Now shows as shipped. Looks like 2x revised EDD will hold.
