Oooooo, just ordered matching M11xs for my guy and myself this last Friday, March 19. SO excited! Now we get to try and wait patiently for the 10 or so days it takes for our new toys to arrive...

Maybe sleeping through this week will help it pass by!?

Jimbo called again today. Said he can't say whether its going to arrive early or not, and to just rely on the date in the email. Time to tell him "gish durn it the same thing happened to me neighbor. Thats why i didnt order that alienware keyboard; i wanted it in tiem fur spring break and i figured leaving out accesories would make it go faster...ahem compensation ahem..."

Well, after they canceled my order because of my CC and I fixed it I haven't gotten a email for new order. Did they just stick with the one they canceled because it says order processing now if it even changed

 

I used the following discounts via a phone order after my ATT GOBI activation discount didn't get applied during checkout. Not sure if it was suppose too either but I got them to take off another $100 via custom coupon after I said I am not buying it then. The phone order took 1 hr to get all the coupons applied and order verified.

If someone has a good guess as to when they may start digging into my account for money after boxing starts I'd appreciate knowing - when would be the soonest I'd have to worry about be?

Either way, my M11x is in at my local FedEx Station and it is 11:44pm, I wish I can go there now, but I got to wait until they deliver it tomorrow afternoon!

As soon as I get my m11x tomorrow, farewell, order status thread and be patient all. The last day waiting is the hardest !!!

 

Well mine spent the entire weekend in a town which is 1 hr drive from my place. Find something else to do, you'll go crazy if you just keep refreshing their page (like me ).

Finally got my second order, only to be greeted by a email from dell toting a $999 price drop for Canada till tomorrow I will be exchanging my current machine for a new one as the new price includes a 320 GB 7200 RPM Drive.

FYI Totally worth the wait.

 

To those who got the UK deal with the Tactx mouse did it come with the m11x package or seperately?

 

Just checked the page this morning and it's in Australian port, I wonder if it'll get to the delivery department tomorrow, and then maybe just maybe they will deliver it on the same day +___+

 

Ordered mine on 3-19 with an EDD of 4-7! I am sooo excited! Had a heart attack this morning as I was greeted by an email from Dell stating my order had shipped. Unfortunately it was just the Orion Messenger Bag I had ordered along with the system. Its going to be a looooooooooong couple of weeks...

Seperately. In fact I have my M11x two weeks now and I still haven't got the mouse. There was however an attempted delivery yesterday which is most likely it, so I'll collect it later in the week.

 

woke up this morning and checked shipping status to see it had been delivered (had it sent to work). Its my day off, but I went straight in and there it was in the mail room. 10-day turnaround (I live in Tennessee). Installing stuff now.

 

Ordered on 3/15 and will be here on tomorrow 3/24. Longest wait ever.

Beggars can't be choosers. This is my first time ordering with any computer company ever, and my laptop hasnt even been delivered yet so I can't judge Dell yet. Waiting sucks, but I'm quite sure it will payoff.

 

How long does the shipping to Europe take? Hope it won't be extremely long..

Oh, hooray! We're on day 4/5 of our wait since ordering 2 on 3/19 and I just noticed the EDD on one of the laptops has been updated to 3/31 (from an initial EDD of 4/7).

Now, just need the other to also update ... wouldn't want to receive one before the other.

 

And now I've actually gone through Dell's Order Status Tool (as opposed to going through the order confirmation email link to order status) and have discovered the same laptop is now listed as having been shipped.

Maybe they've ramped up production and are able to get these out a little quicker now?

 

It is always nice when they move an EDD forward and not backwards but I have to say it is frustrating how dell actually handles the orders. Mine was a day before yours and my EDD is still at 4/2. Congrats to you, frustration to me..

I ordered with Fedex express 3-5 days (cheapest) and it was also delivered next buisness day (shipped Friday, arrived Monday noon).

 

How often does Dell upgrade their Shipping / Build info, realistically, is it several times a day or just like every 12 hours??

 

Got the Dell e-mail and call today. Website and 800 number confirmed.

So if I'm lucky it will arrive tomorrow, but no late that Friday.

Oh my god...I just saw the Asus G73JH...If this order gets pushed back longer than expected I might have to cancel and get this incredibly powerful looking machine at such a great price.

Quick question...I noticed that the money that had been put on hold for the full amount in my bank account has been released. Are they waiting for the laptop to ship before charging my account? I checked the website and it says my system is still "In Production", as I was worried they had a billing issue and they canceled.

I keep seeing these huge prices for the M11x. Here in Romania, we don't have AW directly, nor Dell as a matter of fact - just authorized resellers and services, but the one shop that sells the M11x has it listed for a price of ~980euros - su7300, 4gb ram, 500gb, gt 335m. Why is it that much expensive in other places? Take jpskid's quotation, and it only has 4gb more.

 

'CALL LOCK OUT' stage of shipping... whatever that means , pretty sure it's close.

 

That is the price in Spain for the same, laptop...

 

lol only, here in Belgium I paid 983 euro for the su7300, 4gb ram, 500gb, gt335m version. If I wanted 8 gb of ram it would have costed me 388 euro more. The extra ram makes it so expensive. I think in europe, all the prices are relatively the same

 

I got 8GB RAM and 3 year Warranty + Accidental damage - they are listed at £300 for ram and £350 for the warranty on UK dell site....

 

Looks like I'm getting mine tomorrow.

Jimbo called again. Said my order is in the "final stages" of be- brb door rang...YES! Orion backpack arrived!!!! great timing huh? - ing built. I asked whats the EDD and he said 2-3 days. I asked about buisness days and hes like "oh yeah, so next tuesday. thank you. bye *click*". He sounded real depressed.


Maybe I'll send him a card.

Ok, here is one for your guys and gals. I have been checking on the status of my laptop daily. I ordered it on March 18 and when I click on my Order Status email it said that the unit shipped. Ultra excited I was, then I clicked on the order number on Dells website and it shows in production. I then decided to call the 800 number and it says my order shipped.......On April 1st.....and of course today is only March 24th. What the heck??? I should get something for this emotional damage that they just caused me. Anyone else had this problem and since I paid for NBD, is there any chance in heck that I will get it tomorrow. Need a reality check here.....
