I'm more happy at the fact I'm getting these scores with no stuttering/freezing/driver crashes. As I said earlier, the ATI cards are more stable when OC'ing.

Just spanked my old 3dmark score and got 16616. The new ram seems to be letting me overlclock more, I believe. Very happy with this machine :p

Yeah I was pleasantly surprised, did not expect such a boost.

Vantage with same clocks (11132 GPU). I am going to start looking into flashing the clocks on these things :p

Don, to flash for multiple cards it is as follows:

    nvflash -i0 XXXX.rom
    nvflash -i1 XXXX.rom

You can use the exact same BIOS for both of them. The -iX indicates which PCIe slot to flash the BIOS to. You do not need any of that other crap like -6 -5 -4 -A -y that I was doing this summer, just the -iX part

And Don, now some questions for you

When loading 185.20 did you have the screen color all messed and did the control panel freeze alot? I want to get those drivers working for testing. Played around with grabbing the control panel application from other driver versions but could not get that to work either. Even from other 185.xx versions (which I figured should be the same design)

what version of 185.20 did you use? I have 3. And are you running in Vista or Windows 7?

And did you resolve the color thing or just ignore it? I am pretty sure it is due to the monitor and not anything being wrong with the laptop. Will hook it up to a 24" external on sunday when I am back at my dorm.

Scook: After install 185.20 (Win7 Home Premium 64bit) i have the NV panel and in Devicemanager (?) are both cards ok. When i switch in NV panel to SLI are both cards deaktivated with Code43 and freeze the NV panel window. After reboot are both cards ok. But no SLI.

Mandrake, you know that your cpu 06 score is insane? ;)
It is higher than that of i7 920XM oc'ed to 3.7... Another reason not to upgrade. QX9300 does have some potential. I bet it can be boosted to 3.5Ghz at least with a proper bios/cooling. Intel claims max 3.7.... Keep blasting 'em all ! Hooah!
