hello guys, i bought my wife a asus netbook pink so i can use it @ the moment (not so exited) so i have a simple question. Is the list updated @ the moment?

I cant find his benchmark score, i browsed back a lot of pages but nothing. Please people keep your scores in your signature.

Hey back again. BatBoy and I tried updating the scores last week but more have been posted since.

All my scores are in the first post of my thread in my sig. Hope that's OK.

 

O i thought we were going by GPU scroe ... ( thats all that matters)

 

nah, that's not all that matters...mandrakes scores should have proved that already.. (massive jumps with just cpu over clocking)

and besides...it's always over all system performance scores. (or at least it should be)

Im lost in this thread at the moment, dont know where to start. Why do you have 3 scores in the 3D mark 06 ranking mandrake? Who are the game champions? I actually cant find a lot of new benches after the update :/

I have no idea. I think the spreadsheet I posted only had me at the top two. If you can submit multiple entries per machine I'd be more than happy to take over the top ten.

Again my thread is fully up to date with my benchmarks. I cannot speak for everyone else.

That site looks a bit on the under developed side. Has anyone bought from there yet?

On a side note have you run AquaMark 3 before? I can't even get that one to run.

 

i have it, but haven't loaded it yet... im using these old benchmark programs under windows xp...ill check it in a few

 

I tried running it in XP compatibility mode but nothing happened. I'll try reinstalling it.

and 2001 is a 90 percent cpu benchmark

Let me know if you get it to work. I can see it loading in task manager and get up to 25MB of memory then crash. I tried multiple compatibility modes and uninstalling and reinstalling it. Next step is google but I wanted to see if you got it to work.

nothing john what's up. i overvolted the cards but i was unstable and the highest i got was 12,088 so i brought them back to stock cause i was playing red faction...

 

i bet you up'd the voltage and tried to run your original over clocks....

 

i did up the voltage and tried my original overclocks and it did work. 675/1675/1080 then i did
680/1700/1080 then
680/1700/1075 then
680/1700/1075 then
675/1688/1080 then
i gave up. lol

 

you start from scratch then work your way back up...some times your original clocks wont take the first few times...some times it takes a different combo.

 

oh oh i see. i want just going off my 9800m gtx which everything just worked. which i shouldn't. beucause my driver that i like doesn't work for the 280m for some reason...

Thats is a good score! its an old benchmark, so not very efficient at utilising crossfire, but it loves processor clock (doesn't utilise quad core too effectively either, and just to put that in perspective, I ran the same benchmark Stock with Q9000+4870's and got the following:



Clock makes all the difference, also shown below by my XPS M2010 (also stock)

 

it's nvidia...95 percent of the time...it doesn't just....go...lol

 

i'm getting to find that out more and more.

 

Here's a 12094 GPU just running with C2D P8600 @ 3.0Ghz and OC'n GPU. Weak sauce till I get my QX9300 tommorrow.

 

True that about the nvidia drivers. Definitely miss that aspect of being an ati customer
